About Sandy Aguilar

We are a Christian family who love God and love meeting new and interesting people from all walks of life! Our home is about 50 feet away from the rental property, so we're here and available to make sure your stay is relaxing and comfortable.

Sandy Aguilar purchased this chateau / country house in 2011

Why Sandy Aguilar chose Central Coast California

We love the Central Coast of California and are excited to share it with others! This is truly a home away from home. We vacationed in this area for 15 years before moving here and we feel incredibly blessed to now call it our home. We've done a lot of traveling throughout our lives, but feel like we've truly landed in 'God's country' here!

What makes this chateau / country house unique

We are about 10 minutes away from several 'destination spots' in the area, but once you're here, it feels like you're completely away from everything. It is quiet, serene and peaceful!

Quiet & Cozy with Beautiful Views

  • 5 of 5

We had a short stay for a friend's wedding in SLO. The rental had everything we needed for our stay, and Sandy and Jorge were very nice and accommodating. The views were also beautiful, and the star gazing was spectacular with little to no city lights nearby.

What's not to love?

  • 5 of 5

Sadly, my hubby and I only had a few days at this peaceful retreat, but it was a perfect place to relax! Not far from the beaches or the Village of Arroyo Grande but nicely placed in the quiet foothills amongst farm land, oak trees and a great owner! Sandy and Jorge anticipated just about every need a person would have! I came prepared with cooking spices, towels, my fav kitchen utensils, hair dryer and I could have left it all home! The place was move-in ready! PLUS, nice touches like a bottle of wine, chocolates, cheese and crackers! We brought our dog and she was welcomed and greeted by their dogs and the goats and pigs. (She wasn't so sure about the latter two, they spoke a strange language!) The weather allowed us to eat on the upper landing for breakfast and dinner to enjoy a great view of the valley and coastline, listening to the cooing of the morning doves. My hubby, who is the skeptic one, LOVED this trip due to staying at this rental. He did not want to leave and fell in love with the "country" being so close to the beach--the best of two worlds together. Thank you Sandy and Jorge we will be looking forward to another visit, hopefully soon!

This house is in excellent condition!

  • 5 of 5

The house was easy to keep clean and conveniently arranged. The views from the property are incredible on all sides. The supplies left in the house were greatly appreciated such as lotions, shampoo, and conditioner. They even had a bottle of wine with cheese and crackers to snack on upon arrival. Jorge and Sandy were very accommodating and responded to our questions immediately. The home is about a 10-15 minutes drive to Pismo beach and Avila beach. Lots of great places to eat. Everyone enjoyed the comforts offered by the home and our kids loved the owners. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We will certainly come back to stay. Thank you again to both of you!

Relaxing getaway, great views!

  • 5 of 5

We loved Sandy and her house. Relaxing on the deck in the sun was the best. Location was fabulous, away from it all, but 20 minutes from everything! I highly recommend!

Our Summer in Arroyo Grande, CA

  • 4 of 5

To escape the Arizona summer heat, my wife, me and our little Pom Goldee, found this wonderful spot in Arroyo Grande on the VRBO website. We phoned and negotiated a visit from July 1st to Mid-September with Sandy and George Agular. Like all VRBO reservations, there is a slight hesitancy about what you see in the pictures and what you find when you arrive so we were very pleased to find Sandy and George's place was just as advertised. Were the accommodations perfect, of course not ( we had a problem with the main refrigeration being downstairs when Happy Hour doings were upstairs) but we managed to survive.

Foggy mornings were wonderful! Great seafood was found at the Cracked Crab in Pismo and an eating experience of much enjoyment, Luna Red in SLO, we highly recommend. Wine tasting trails are within easy driving distance while the Eclair Bakery downtown supplied some great scones. Our trip was cut short due to allergies from the smoke from the summer wild fires (not the Agular's fault) but still a memorable time. Peter Manley

Owner's Response: We enjoyed hosting you! Just to clarify for future guests, there is a fridge/freezer in the kitchen (in the main living area of the house), but it is a hotel sized one. To accomodate guests who need more space than that, we have also provided a full-sized fridge and freezer in the lower level of the house as well. Thanks again for staying with us!

Hidden gem with great view

  • 5 of 5

We went up to the Arroyo Grande area for a wedding. This location was a perfect spot to stay. The house was nice, had very good amenities. The view from the patio was amazing. It is a fairly short drive to several tourist attractions CA missions, San Luis Obispo, Solvang and Hearst Castle, etc). The hostess Sandy was very nice and provided all details needed to make the stay work. The house is very private.
