We were so impressed with this property last year, that we rebooked for this year! And the reason we would like to return again is that there is so much to like. It is beautifully furnished, well-equipped, clean, large enough to easily accommodate guests, private, and close to town. But what really sets it apart from other properties is the spectacular mountain views from the two decks, and from every room in the house!
Stayed for one month in December/January. Accurate photos and description of the property. House is located in a hilly area about a 5 minute drive outside of the town square (downtown) of Prescott - views from the home are very nice. Decks have ample seating for a larger group to enjoy the views. Kitchen is well stocked. It is about a 30-40 minute walk downhill to get to the town square area from the house (and uphill on the way back). However, all necessary amenities are a short drive away - hiking/biking trails, shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, etc. Property is pet friendly (yay!) and there is a nice dog park in Prescott. Owner is very responsive and helpful.
We had a great time to stay there. The owner answered our phone calls promptly every time when we try to contact him. The view was spectacular from the patio. The house was very comfortable. There was only one thing upset us was that we were not able to rent this house again next year because the fact which is that this house has been rent out to some else already for the next summer. Otherwise, we will rent it again for 2017 without think twice.
Thank you very much!
For two full months we enjoyed this beautiful, well-equipped home. It has gorgeous mountain views from every room, giving the feeling that this is truly a first-class vacation home. We appreciated the ample space to accommodate guests, and when our two year old grandson visited, we were pleased to have the booster seat, packnplay, and safety gate. We enjoyed seeing the deer almost daily, and occasionally were surprised by the Javelinas roaming through. It is situated in a quiet private neighborhood, with easy access to town square and trail heads by car. I wouldn't recommend walking downtown, however. I think it would be too strenuous for most.
This was exactly as described....peaceful and lots of room ! Beautiful and clean home with great views of the Thumb! Quiet neighborhood in a natural setting with deer and javelina roaming around. For 2 months we got away from the heat of Phoenix and We were totally comfortable here.
Being very familiar with Prescott, this home was a great place for a family reunion over the Christmas holiday.
As stated the location is great with easy access to the downtown amenities and courthouse lights.
The views of Thumb Butte, Granite mountain, and Prescott provides the peaceful setting mentioned and for some of us make the visit very worthwhile.
While located in a beautiful development in Prescott, we had Mule deer passing through the yard and viewable from the windows and the deck.
Everything well maintained and spotless.
Owner surprised us with having many basic food items, coffee, condiments, household supplies available so an immediate run to the store could be done later.
In addition to having family stay, we invited friends for dinner and everyone was impressed with the home and accommodations. In fact, one took information to make a reservation for a retreat she is planning.
Enjoyed the hiking, biking, dinners at home and at a few of the restaurants in Prescott.
