We are artists from the pacific northwest in the US, and love coming to Todos Santos to relax and create. We like getting out for mountain biking, walks to the beach, and hiking. Swimming & snorkel diving are some of my favorites (Greg), and we're both avid music lovers - the Todos Santos music festival rocks! We like to go to art galleries - be sure to see the Todos Santos Art Festival and studio tours some time. We participate in the Todos Santos community and have an overall love of travel and meeting people.
Greg Gaskill purchased this house in 1995
Awesome ocean views in a private setting at an affordable price.
Close to town and the beach, but away from the traffic and noise of downtown at night.
Fully stocked house with all kitchen amenities, gas BBQ, extra linens, and optional maid service during your stay.
Outdoor living areas with gardens, patios, and tables for lots of extra space.
Upstairs terraza with panoramic views of the ocean, and mountains to the east.
Gardens on a large property give you lots of space and privacy - you have the place all to yourself!
A quiet area close to grocery stores, restaurants, and beach.
Easy to get around, just over a mile to downtown and a little less to the beach.
Spectacular ocean views from the upstairs terraza is perfect for sunsets.
The upstairs suite has glass french doors which look out to the ocean with extra room for morning yoga too.
Large & private, property has gardens with fruit trees and flowering plants. Fenced and gated for privacy and security.
Our stay was fun and relaxed. We loved the privacy and security of the property, including the open patio upstairs with the amazing ocean views. A margarita at sunset looking out at the ocean is pretty hard to beat!
We stayed at the Casa Luna for two weeks. The kitchen was well equipped and the upstairs deck was great for breakfast. The property lacked the kind of landscaping beauty and comfort overall that I experienced at other rentals in Todos Santos at the same or even better price. There was no comfortable place to sit inside the casita and no inside eating area. The septic tank continually gave off fumes requiring closing off the bathroom and airing it out before use despite the property manager's best efforts to correct the situation. It is atleast one mile to the beach which was quite a disappointment as we were lead to believe it was much closer.
Our stay generally went well. We found your manager Jorge very kind and helpful, especially so since we decided not to rent a car. He volunteered to pick us up at the casita & drive us to a music event and drive back after the concert so we would walk in the dark. On our departure he volunteered to drop us at the bus depot for our return to
We did find some limitations in our stay:
The bedroom above the garage had n o bath so we used it only to view the sunsets.
Also some appliances didn't function. The toaster oven didn't heat so was useless. There was no toaster of any sort, so we had to use the sandwich maker as a bread toaster of sorts.
The VRBO site lead us to believe the casita was quite close to the rather distant ocean. However the distance walking there must be a mile & a half to two miles. But we did walk there most days for some good exercise.

I was in TS for a month and rented the casita for 3 of the weeks I was there. I also had a number of friends come visit me from time to time while I was there. Greg's place worked fine for me and my guests, and I would have stayed longer in the casita if I could have. The bathroom is nice with a big shower, there was always plenty of hot water (not something to take for granted in Baja!), and the kitchen, though small, had everything I needed for cooking a good meal (there's a 2-burner propane cooktop, a microwave, and a gas grill - I grilled fish a lot for dinner). The house is quite small - only a (big) bedroom, a bathroom, and a small kitchen with a sofa and coffee table, so we ate each night at the outdoor picnic table. There is also a room ("upstairs suite") above the garage with a bed in it, and I used that as a bedroom when guests came, but that room is extremely rustic...the upper half of the walls are just boards - so no sound or thermal insulation - and it can get a bit noisy and sometimes cold in the windstorms. But the storms were infrequent and most nights I slept just fine up there (using foam earplugs...the traffic and dog and rooster noises kept me up until I started using those). The ocean view from the suite is lovely. The property's location is good, near La Esquina restaurant (good and reasonably priced) and not too far from town, we walked to town a few times but usually drove. The TS beach (no swimming, pretty rough waves, but beautiful) is about a 15 minute walk, but you have to drive to Cerritos - about 20 to 25 minutes away - for swimming or surfing. The internet connection was good, we watched Netflix a couple of times in the evening. Greg was a great host and extremely responsive to the minor issues we had upon check-in. He really wanted to make sure my stay was trouble-free, which I greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place for people who are comfortable in rustic Baja (this is NOT Cabo - it's much more charming but much more rustic) and would definitely enjoy staying there again.
I was looking for an authentic Mexican visit with my father and brother - Casa Luna did not disappoint!
A great property centrally located with all of the items needed to be comfortable. The propery is clean and has a great lower patio as well as a fantastic second upper patio off of the second bedroom for watching awesome sunsets! A car is definitely needed. We would recommend
We really enjoyed out stay at Casa Luna, very nice bungalow, clean and has every thing needed for a enjoyable stay, the space above the garage is a great place to enjoy the sun and has a great view of the ocean and of the mountain's. Very central located to down town and close to market's for shopping. Will stay there again when we return. Owner Greg and care Taker Randy are both very helpful and prompt. We had a small concern with the water running out but they addressed it right away and all was fine after that
Our vacation could not be as wonderful as it was, without Casa Luna. My boyfriend and I enjoyed staying there immensely.
The place is situated in a quiet street, very private, yet not even 5 minutes (by car) from the historic downtown and all restaurants and shops of Toddos Santos.
Casa Luna has everything we could want to make it a special stay: romantic and "artsy" decor, wonderful views of the mountains and the ocean from the little terrace, comfortable bedrooms ( loft and main house), fully equipped kitchen and nice garden. Everything clean and neat. It is not, however, a place for people looking for a luxury, or 5 star hotel experience, it is a simple place but very tasteful and full of rustic charm. We loved it there...
Also, the owner was very helpful and fast to respond to any questions we had, as well as a property manager who was always at hand.
Sunset watching available from several patios.
