Marcus and Roseana used to live in Florida and have just retired. They have two grown-up sons and keep their Colorado Home immaculate for themselves and their very special guests.
Marcus Molina purchased this house in 2009
'We simply love the mountains, and Colorado was an obvious choice: a gorgeous state, with friendly people. Finding a place in Boulder was also an easy decision: we wanted to stay close to one the best places to live in the U.S.'
So far from the world, yet so close to everything. This modern, fully furnished house is located in a gorgeous canyon, tucked in the mountains, among trees, with a creek crossing the property. Take your car, and in less than 20 minutes will are in the middle of one the best cities to live in the United States, full of life, with everything you need. You'll enjoy every minute of your time there.
Our family of five loved staying at this beautiful home in the mountains! This house has everything you need. Terrific game room, well appointed kitchen and large family room. You can go hiking right from the house! That's awesome! We drove to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain national Park. We hiked a lot!! We hung out in Boulder. We ate at some great restaurants and cooked some meals at the house. 5 stars. The owners were very kind and helpful. And when we needed something their truly kind housekeeper came through for us. Just a fantastic vacation overall!
This was my first time in Boulder Colorado and only 2nd time in America, having been to Florida in 2009. Boulder area is so much nicer than Florida, it's a beautiful town, no high rise, good restaurants and plenty to do, from Indoor Rock Climbing without ropes, Free Running (Apex) for my son, a creek that goes through boulder and beautiful walks etc,.
Now the House, which is 15/20 minutes from Boulder (best Road to go up and down is Lee Hill Drive), The House is beautiful and very well maintained. The Ground floor has the Pool/Table Tennis, Darts and Wii in and is great, my teenagers have much improved at Pool and Darts. The 2nd Bedroom is on this floor and has a large Bed and lovely ensuite, my daughter (13) loved it. The living/Kitchen area is great and Kitchen is very well equipped although could do with more knives and forks as had to keep getting them out of the dish washer. The TV area is great as well and all four of us could easily sit on the sofa to watch a film. This floor also has a good utility and bathroom opposite the 3rd Bedroom which is smaller but still a good size, only downside is that if the bed is made into a double/king it's quite short (my son is 6ft) and the bed has a dip in the middle (which could be rectified by putting a quilt or something underneath), he therefore slept sideways, but by the end of the two weeks was complaining that his back was hurting as the bed is not as comfortable as the 2nd and Master Bedroom. Master Bedroom, is huge, with lovely on suite, Bed is extremely comfortable. The outside space is great with the creek, gazebo etc,. It's a very lovely house and was very enjoyable. There are Road Repairs going on at the moment, but we were very lucky that they did not affect us at the time of our holiday. Would recommend Eldorado Springs (outside pool with slide and diving board great for kids) and mountain trail. Chautauqua has lovely walks and a good park and Restaurant too. Had a great holiday, Marcus was always extremely helpful would recommend.
This amazing house is nestled on the side of a mountain near Boulder. The amenities nearby include a fantastic gazebo and beautiful creek along with a walking trail up the mountain right off of the deck! Our daughters (7 and 5) loved collecting rocks and pine cones all along the trails. Our favorite past times were skipping rocks on the creek and hiking. The house is lovely, clean, well equipped, and very inviting. It was like being home on vacation. Our family loved spending some evenings in the basement/ground floor game room which includes a Wii, large screen TV, ping pong/pool table and darts. The kitchen is also well equipped with everything you might need to cook in (which we did quite a few times). All bathrooms are beautiful and include large walk-in showers. The house is in a great location and we didn't have to travel too far to get to the Flat Irons and all that Boulder (and the surrounding areas) has to offer. The owners were very kind and helpful.
Waking up to that view and cool breeze every morning is something I will miss dearly. We can't wait to go back there!
This home was perfect for our adventure seeking, young adult children. The downstairs suite was wonderfully furnished with a private bath. The master suite on the second level was spacious and the king size bed was very comfortable. The main level was well furnished with plenty of seating for meals and family time, along with two twin size beds and a third full bathroom. The location was perfect for enjoying all the Boulder attractions as well as driving the Peak to Peak Highway. The home was well furnished/ immaculate, the stream on the property was beautiful and the owners were very easy to work with.
My family and I just stayed in this home outside of Boulder and all had a wonderful experience. The home was well equipped with most everything you might need. There was lots of great family activities. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain home experience around Boulder.
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was immaculate, well furnished and the owners thought of everything to make it a perfect vacation spot. They included maps and information about interesting local attractions. The wifi and cell reception was spotty even though the house was equipped with all the latest boosters and amplifiers. It's in the mountains after all ! So forget about checking your email every ten minutes and enjoy sitting in the stream side gazebo !
