About Vivian Stonewall
My name is Gary Bieske, owner of Pikes Peak Resort; Sharilyn is my wife. I am a long-time resident of the Woodland Park area and fell in love with this 160-acre mountain ranch in a secluded part of northern Teller County in 1997.
Vivian Stonewall purchased this Cabin in 1997
Why Vivian Stonewall chose Teller County
My dream was to build a resort where guests can experience the joy and relaxation of luxurious accommodations in the heart of mother nature. To share with visitors what I see everyday and say, 'WOW' I started in 2000 building a resort from the ground up and opened two luxury guest cabins in June of 2002.
What makes this Cabin unique
After spending years of rebuilding cabins, and reclaiming the land after the devastation from the Hayman fire in 2002, we are thankful for our customers support and that we may share our beautiful & serene location. Come visit us and relax in the secluded splendor of Pikes Peak Resort!

Family vacation in the mountains
Pike's Peak Resort more than met our expectations for a family vacation. The 2BR cabin was full of amenities and offered tremendous mountain views. We enjoyed the busy hummingbird feeder, but my wife was disappointed that the owner's dog never paid us a visit. Maybe next time!
We are pleased your family enjoyed our mountain views. It is always rewarding to know that we have met or exceeded someones expectations. We take great pride in our cabins; we strive to keep up with modern technology and provide you with all the comforts of home. Unfortunately Break was camping with her owner hopefully next time she will be here to greet you.

The property was amazing. Wonderful private, quiet location. Dish TV was great. Jacuzzi was so relaxing. Eagle Crest is our favorite cabin!! Close proximity to hiking and walking trails, picturesque views, winding mountain roads. If you are craving peace and quiet this is where you need to be. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials. Love the kitchen table, comfy sofa and chairs in living room, and bathroom essential are provided also if needed. Comfortable & quiet cabin retreat
We found the cabin very comfortable, clean and private. The owners have done a great job in making sure the experience is private. From the positioning of the cabins and the outside hot tubs and using natural screening to keep things that way.
The size of the cabin we stayed at; Elk Ridge; was perfect. The kitchen and main living area were very comfortable and our main bedroom that we used, the upstairs on was perfect. We really loved the walkout porch up there and sat outside on it to view the deer as they fed up the hills to right beneath us every evening.
We really enjoyed it all.
Thank you for sharing your experience at our resort. We are pleased to know you found our Elk Ridge cabin to be comfortable and private. Hope your stay here made your anniversary a memorable one and you will keep us in mind for your future get-aways. We sincerely appreciate your business and best wishes to you and your wife.

Amazinggg, We spent the weekend in the Elk ridge cabin it was super clean, comfy, the showers are great and the hot tub is great😫. The service was excellent very nice people and the views are amazing. The only tricky thing are the roads the first night it was hard to find our way but if you follow the directions that they give, you shouldnt have any problems getting there. Great weekend I am planning on coming back.
We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay while staying at our Elk Ridge cabin. Housekeeping spends countless hours ensuring that each cabin is well stocked and cleaned for each of our guests, nice to know it is appreciated. Thank you for writing a review we look forward to your return trip.

Relaxing weekend in the cabin
Very relaxing trip. Wilderness Cabin was great, directions were spot on. They're not kidding about the GPS thing--our friend who came later was routed down a very topsy-turvy road, whereas our drive was a breeze. Cabin is pretty no-frills but is comfortable and pretty clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the cooking necessities. The only downside to the cabin is that it was in need of a *deep* clean (cobwebs on the fan but who cares). The living space wasn't the most comfy; we were a group of 4 and anymore would've made hanging out in the living space too tight. Overall it was beautiful and a well-located yet secluded wilderness getaway.
Hot tub was great
Thank you for taking the time to review our Wilderness cabin we sincerely appreciate your views. Housekeeping spends a lot of man hours keeping up on the cleanliness of the place especially when people do not clean up after themselves. We will definitely attend to the cobwebs sometimes we run out of time for detail. Thanks for the heads up!
