About Gary Bieske

My name is Gary Bieske, owner of Pikes Peak Resort. I am a long-time resident of the Woodland Park area and fell in love with a 160-acre mountain ranch in a secluded part of northern Teller County in 1997.

Gary Bieske purchased this cabin in 1997

Why Gary Bieske chose South Central Colorado

My dream was to build a resort where guests can experience the joy and relaxation of luxurious accommodations in the heart of mother nature. To share with visitors what I see everyday and say, 'WOW'

I started in 2000 building a resort from the ground up and opened two luxury guest cabins in June of 2002.

What makes this cabin unique

After spending years of rebuilding cabins, and reclaiming the land after the devastation from the Hayman fire in 2002, we are thankful for our customers support and that we may share our beautiful & serene location. Come visit us and relax in the secluded splendor of Pikes Peak Resort!

Amazinggg, We spent the weekend in the Elk ridge cabin it was super clean, comfy, the showers are great and the hot tub is great😫. The service was excellent very nice people and the views are amazing. The only tricky thing are the roads the first night it was hard to find our way but if you follow the directions that they give, you shouldnt have any problems getting there. Great weekend I am planning on coming back.

Relaxing weekend in the cabin

  • 5 of 5

Very relaxing trip. Wilderness Cabin was great, directions were spot on. They're not kidding about the GPS thing--our friend who came later was routed down a very topsy-turvy road, whereas our drive was a breeze. Cabin is pretty no-frills but is comfortable and pretty clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the cooking necessities. The only downside to the cabin is that it was in need of a *deep* clean (cobwebs on the fan but who cares). The living space wasn't the most comfy; we were a group of 4 and anymore would've made hanging out in the living space too tight. Overall it was beautiful and a well-located yet secluded wilderness getaway.

Hot tub was great

Owner's Response: Dear Lisa, Thank you for taking the time to review our Wilderness cabin we sincerely appreciate your views. Housekeeping spends a lot of man hours keeping up on the cleanliness of the place especially when people do not clean up after themselves. We will definitely attend to the cobwebs sometimes we run out of time for detail. Thanks for the heads up! Warmest Regards, Vivian Pikes Peak Resort Manager

Beautiful cabin!!

  • 5 of 5

Everything was great! The cabin was ready when we arrived. Very clean and very quiet! I always question the pictures you see on the internet, but this cabin was exactly like the pictures. The only disturbance was the construction of The Bears Den, and that wasn't bad at all. Very secluded! Don't follow your GPS coming in!! The old road that runs parallel with the new one is adventurous to say the least. We will definitely be back next year!!

Exceeded expectations

  • 5 of 5

Booked our stay from internet reviews and cannot be happier. We stayed in the Elk Ridge cabin , which was immaculate, and the kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed for cooking. Deer visited right outside our door, hawk sightings galore and the stars were beyond belief on a clear night. Very much appreciate the 'welcome' bottle of wine and personal touches. It was hard to leave this place of beauty and we will be back when our travels include Colorado again. Recommend staying here with absolutely zero hesitation.

Angler Cove Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Just came back from a weekend at the Angler Cove Cabin at Pikes Peak Resort. The Cabin was very clean, cozy, and secluded with beautiful views. We were able to see lots of wildlife right from our patio! The hot tub outside was a great way to wind down on a chilly evening. I would highly recommend this resort for all occasions! We will definitely be back!

Owner's Response: Dear Sadie, We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at our Angler Cove cabin. It is our most remote one so it does see a lot more wildlife of course soon we have the Bear Den which will be just as secluded. We look forward to your return business.
