Quiet, wooded, remote, cozy
Perfect relaxing spot! Nearby hikes and drives in mountains spectacular! Wish I could live there.
No WiFi meant that neither my husband nor I could do any work which was the only excuse some coworkers can accept!!
Clean and comfortable cabin.
I enjoyed the cabin and the solitude. Close to good fishing was a huge plus. I will return.
We had a great stay and wonderful Thanksgiving in this beautiful peaceful cabin! Best part of it was no internet and phones which was great and the maps they had there helped us get to the all the beautiful trails and attractions. We will back to stay again for sure!! Thank you ladies for opening up your cabin for a getaway and making a memorable Thanksgiving for us!
Very clean and comfortable. Perfect little getaway place in the mountains.
Easy to find cabin in the woods. Had coffee on the front porch every morning and watched the deer walk by. A perfect place to get away from the city. We loved it.
Great get away
We stopped here for a few nights on our way back home from NY and we had some friends in the area. It was the perfect size for two people and in the middle of beautiful woods. My only caution is you must be aware that you will have absolutely no way to contact the outside world; no phone service (maybe here and there with AT&T I hear) and no WiFi and there is no landline either. So if you are city folks, who might get creeped out by silence and being far away from people, you need to mentally prepare yourself. I would also advise you bring a paper map of the area cause even GPS has a hard time. Luckly, even though I am a city dweller presently, I grew up in the woods. Once I got over the initial shock it was like coming home.
Thanks for your review. We are sorry that you felt the cabin was so secluded due to the lack of Wi-Fi and cell phone service. We should have informed you that one of the managers live less than 1/4 mile from the cabin. We do get AT&T there but not other services. However, dialing 911 for emergencies can work from any service. Unfortunately, sometimes one must give up technology to enjoy the beauty of mother nature.
Perfect for a weekend getaway!!!
We were very pleased with the cabin!!! We would stay here again!!!
Glad you enjoyed your stay!
