My wife and I staying for three nights to relax, fish and enjoy the natural beauty.

  • 2 of 5

Our stay started off on the wrong foot when we could not reach our lake retreat because no one bothered telling us that the final turn to the property was a different road than the address of the property. usually not a big deal, but we had to turn around three times on narrow roads while pulling a boat! One might expect the lights to all work in a rental, not this rental! In the picture, you might notice the lovely light over the dining table. All light bulbs burned out. Living room light and fan, all light bulbs burned out! Corner living room floor lamp with three bulbs, two of them burned out! Refrigerator light, burned out! The guts to the bathtub drain were laying prostrate on the tub floor! CARPETING IN THE BATHROOM, we felt violated! This rental was sub par, third rate at best!

Mostly clean, cobwebs on fixtures and decor. Carpet throughout except kitchen/Laundry

  • 4 of 5

Great property, address was not correct so took some time with neighbors to guide us. Had trouble with the plumbing backup/sewage system, requiring calling owner, Plummer called and fixed. No air conditioning, (beautiful 80 degree week, not overly hot) so carpet felt damp much of the time. Property faced S/SE, no shades on the large windows to the lake (beautiful view and deck) so got very warm in cabin by noon. We used fans throughout, opening/closing windows at different times of day. My husband/I washed several of the kitchen pots/pans/utensils/drawers/cupboards when getting settled, due to previous tenants not cleaning properly or cleaning service not paying attention. The lake/dock area worked for our large boat to be tied for the night. If inclement wind/weather were a problem, the Public Access (great access) was less than 0.5 miles from the cabin. Very convenient. Lastly, if families with kids were to stay, shallow and safe, mostly sandy water. The dock was old and had several loose/slivered boards so unsafe. There was only 2 adults with this stay, with another adult couple joining us for 2 days, but one man got slivers on his foot when assisting bringing in/securing boat from the dock. This cabin has much potential, just some minor oversites

Plumbing a major issue

  • 1 of 5

Cabin is awesome, views are fabulous. When we arrived the bathroom carpet was soaked and a fan was running. The toilet overflow was blamed on the prior renter.

Long story short - the plumbing never got fixed, the toilet kept overflowing and now I cannot get the property manager to return any of my multiple texts or voicemails. My 3 sons and I were unable to shower or use the toilet for most of the trip.....

Would not recommed staying here.

  • 5 of 5

My family of 5 just rented this cabin for an up north fishing weekend and this property was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The property was very clean and well taken care of. We honestly did not have any complaints and would gladly rent this property again. The location to prime fishing spots is a plus too!

Relaxing Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed here, and we had a great time. The cabin was clean and the kitchen well-stocked. It was nice sitting out on the deck or out on the dock. Great location. Owner was very quick to respond. We would stay here again.
