About the property

Fantastic Sunset Views With Big Water Views And Depp Water, Sleep 6

Welcome to our lake house on the shores of Lake Oconee. This 3 bedroom/w 2 bath home with a Hide-A-Bed is located only minutes from the Great Waters harbor. You an take the kids to jumping rock just ten minutes away by boat. You can ride your boat over to the Bone Island Grill or the Great Waters Club house, both just down the way for a great meal. If you are a fisherman, the dam is only 15 minutes away as well as many of the other hot fishing spots in Lake Oconee. It has a max dock with a boat slip, minutes away from the GA Power Long Shoals boat ramp. The water in front of the dock is 12 feet deep. The views from the dock and the decks are simply beautiful. There is a fire pit right by the lake for those cool nights. You will see big water views and the Reynolds Plantation Peninsula. It has three beds and a sleeper sofa, a 47 inch HDTV and Internet. The beds have excellent mattresses and all of the linens are first rate. The bath towels are first quality as well. Very peaceful surroundings for when you want to get away from it all.

The third bedroom is extra as I price the home as a two bedroom to make it affordable for people who don't need a third room. There is a one time $85 fee for the third bedroom.

Please read my glowing reviews. I do everything possible to ensure that your stay is an enjoyable one. Thank you for considering my home.

Why Brad Rudisail chose Lake Oconee

This property is all about relaxing and getting away from it all. It has big water views and a newly renovated home. People rave about the beds and how the home is decorated. I even feed the fish regularly at the dock to ensure that the fishing is good.

Great weekend stay

  • 5 of 5

This was a great spot for our weekend getaway. The house is one a peaceful cove and chairs/floats were provided. The dogs loved the big yard and lake.

The inside was nice as well - house was clean, beds were comfy, and the decks provided another nice spot to hang out.

I definitely recommend this house to those looking for a lake getaway.

Great location on the lake

  • 5 of 5

The two-story property makes good use of the interior space (two separate commons areas) and is nicely furnished as a lake-themed residence. The kitchen and bathrooms were nice and up to date. The dock is good for fishing and the cove location provides quick access to premium wakeboarding sites. Although it's about 15 minutes from Oconee Parkway, the quiet neighborhood and the sky full of stars make up for the drive.

Nice peaceful lake house on the water - great views and porch

  • 4 of 5

This house was a great place to get away for a few days in early April. We were a group of four guys who were going to The Masters for one day and wanted a place to relax and do a little fishing. The house itself had just what we needed, was clean and well kept, and had a few nice extras. The upstairs has one large bedroom with a king size bed, a kitchen, dining area (seats 8 i think), and living room (not tv, which was nice). There are two bedrooms downstairs and a den, which had a nice tv and foosball table. We enjoyed the fire pit located between the house and lake, and tried our luck fishing off the dock each day we were there.

Fishing notes: we tried all kinds of locally-bought live tackle and went hours without catching anything or even getting any bites. We caught a few bass on worms ("big red worms" and night crawlers from the Citgo station nearby) and one on a minnow, one bluegill with a worm, but that was pretty much it for the first 3 days. The morning we left, we caught about 8 catfish, mostly small but two of which were medium sized (6-8 pounds?) and they were all caught straight off the dock (casted about 15 yards) sinking green worms and night crawlers to the bottom and letting it sit until a fish took it.

The view of the lake from the dock is especially pretty and tranquil. That was my favorite part about the property.

One drawback for us was that it took a fair bit of time to get there from the freeway, but we knew that going in and some may consider this a plus. We also had one misunderstanding about the third bedroom, which was locked upon our arrival. Brad was very responsive by email and phone (text) when I asked if we could use it and we worked it out quickly. I think it may have been my oversight on the terms of the house, as he said he assumes that only two bedrooms are needed unless it's made clear beforehand that three bedrooms are needed - using the third bedroom required another $85, which he agreed we could leave in cash when we left the house. This wasn't a big deal but I thought I would mention it since I overlooked it and others might as well.

The price was just right for what the house provided - if you're looking for something affordable with nice amenities, this is a great place. We had a great time and I'd recommend it.

Thanks, Brad! We appreciate you sharing your home and offering some tips on things in town. If we go to the Masters again, we'll certainly look you up again!

My wife and I needed a last minute weekend getaway to just be lazy! The owner was so accommodating and I can't thank him enough. The home was AWESOME, in fact we are starting our search for a new home.
