About the property

We're glad you are considering a trip to Scottsdale. Whether you're looking for relaxation, glamour, golf or outdoor adventure - you won't be disappointed!

We have designed this rental experience to be unforgettable for you. Being avid travellers ourselves, we know firsthand the central importance that a beautiful and unique home can play in making your vacation a resounding success.

This high-end desert retreat, situated on a one-acre lot in the quiet drama of the outdoors, provides access to the best Scottsdale has to offer. The three-tiered pavered back patio with view fence grants you unhindered views of majestic Four Peaks as it broods over the Superstition Mountains. You may very well observe wildlife from the patio, or witness the pitchy howls of roving coyotes (don't worry, you're all safe, including your pets)!

The home experiences very little traffic noise, yet it is close to Dynamite Rd. Beautiful mature landscaping, built-in BBQ, a fire pit for fun evenings, a shaded patio, and comfortable furniture means you can enjoy a meal in the beautiful outdoors, day or night. Like we said - unforgettable!

The private courtyard features a fountain and desert garden with furniture: perfect for sunbathing (with or without tan lines!), reading and relaxing.

GRAND PLAYER PIANO with a large range of discs, from classical to show tunes, jazz to the Beatles!

Full gourmet kitchen (650 square feet), office, spacious living room with bar, plush master quarters, and very relaxing bedrooms make for a delightful living experience. All mattresses are extremely comfortable. Hi speed internet access, games, books, movie selection, HDTVs with Blue Ray means you'll enjoy your stay.

We are so proud of all there is to see and do in our part of Scottsdale! Make sure to zoom out on the map when you reach the "Location" portion of this listing to see some of the nearby attractions. Sassi restaurant is a MUST for gourmet Italian lovers! The Tom's Thumb, Pemberton, Fraesfield or Pinnacle Peak hikes are all within ten minutes of the home and offer the best walking experiences that Scottsdale has to offer. There are golf courses nearby such as Troon North, as well as horseback riding.

Amazing Optional Amenity: Village Health Club Access (extra fee varies with length of stay and number of occupants). 20 minutes from the home (but nearby to other attractions and restaurants), gain access to Arizona's most exclusive fitness club: the Village at DC Ranch. This magnificent 81,000 square foot club provides all the fitness and sports amenities you desire, including two temperature controlled pools. The club also features a full service day spa and hair salon, a separate wing for children which includes a junior basketball court, kid's club, nursery and outdoor play area, mountain biking featuring organized rides throughout area, a member's business office and private meeting rooms, award-winning cafe and pro shop boutique. This club is one of the best things going in all of Scottsdale! We definitely recommend it, particularly if pool access is important.

So there you have it: create a get-away for you and your loved ones that is simply intense. If you have any questions about our home or the area, drop us a line or call us. Don't be a stranger - we're here to help! We're glad to serve you any way we can, and we hope that you choose our home for your stay in Scottsdale.

About Adam or Lindsay Zingg

We greatly enjoy the beauty of Arizona, and have many family members in the nearby town of Fountain Hills that also draws us to the area. We have found ourselves moving around quite a bit for work and further education during the last several years, yet have been able to spend a good bit of time in Scottsdale as well. We consider ourselves food and wine enthusiasts, excited to try cuisine from most any country. We also enjoy the outdoors, and manage to do a lot of camping in Arizona's mountains, or nearby California, Utah or Colorado.

Adam or Lindsay Zingg purchased this house in 2005

Why Adam or Lindsay Zingg chose Scottsdale

Our property is very unique in that it is extraordinarily peaceful, with its mountain views, and large expanses of open land, all within 15-25 minutes off all that North Scottsdale, Carefree, and CaveCreek have to offer. We are the original owners and fell in love with the luxury of the home, combined with its practicality and spaciousness.

What makes this house unique

While looking for our home in Arizona, were were primarily attracted to the peacefulness and quiet drama of the desert. We have enjoyeded many nights of grilling surf and turf, turning on our player piano, and sitting outdoors with a glass of wine under the bright stars. Our area of the desert is at a slightly higher elevation than the rest of the valley, and so we also loved that the temperatures can be up to 10 degrees cooler than most of Phoenix! In the summer, this means cooler nights, where you can still enjoy the outdoors.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We were a group of six from Japan who were sent to Phoenix to film desert storms - "haboobs". What started for our crew as a ten day visit became almost a month as we waited.

We were very comfortable in Adam's home. He met us a couple times just to make sure we were okay. We had a lot of fun and played games, baked, read, hiked. We thought summer would be too hot, but it was not that bad actually.

We strongly recommend the place.

Sunrises are Spectacular!

  • 5 of 5

We traveled to Scottsdale for my husband's medical surgery. We wanted a quiet, comfortable place to stay for 10 days with our dogs. The paved area in the front and back yards were perfect for relaxing in the morning and evenings. Our dogs had cool places to lie around and I loved the large kitchen. The sunrises are spectacular and can be seen from the master bedroom. The sunsets can be beautiful too. I would definitely recommend this home to rent.

Absolutely beautiful home!

  • 5 of 5

Our family absolutely loved staying in this lovely and immaculately maintained home. Adam and Lindsay were so Welcoming and helpful in getting us settled.

Every morning we would begin our day sitting by the patio fireplace, coffee in hand and watched the sky turn orange as the sun rose over the horizon...fantastic! Adam and Lindsay's home is perfectly located between McDowell Regional Park and Granite Mountain. It was so great to be able to jump on our mountain bikes and go on different amazing adventures right from the house...so convenient!

We had a truly remarkable Thanksgiving holiday with our family and we will definitely recommend this wonderful home to all our friends and family.

Best place we've stayed!

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed in a number of places through AirBnB and VRBO, etc. This was the best. We stayed for a couple days right at the end of the Thanksgiving weekend, and it was superb. The views are unbelievable, the home was clean, and the furniture and decor were excellent. My husband and I had the most amazing stay, and we won't soon forget our time. Bravo!

Unreal

My wife and I stayed at this gorgeous home last September. What can I say - we were impressed. My wife is in the design business, and she couldn't get over the way Lindsay had blended styles inside the house. Very unique (in a good way!). The outdoors is immaculate and the views have to be seen to be believed. You feel like you're right in the desert, which you are, and yet there is a luxurious feel all the same.

Lindsay and Adam were amazing. They made certain we were comfortable and answered all our questions about the area.

Away from it All

  • 5 of 5

Serenely incredible yard and peaceful unobstructed views. You are up high from the Phoenix valley and "away from it all." There are multiple spots to chill with family. The patio faces the sunrise and has ample shade by sundown. 7 seniors hailing from Kansas City, Orlando, Phoenix, Tucson, and Dallas met for a sibling reunion. Yes, we used and needed the massage table, enjoyed the outdoor fireplace while identifying planets and stars, and relaxed by the player piano. Lots of storage everywhere and a huge kitchen made cooking and unpacking a breeze. We all took turns cooking and celebrated May birthdays, the Kentucky Derby, and Mother's Day. In addition to catching up with each other we played cards, went to MIM, Cave Creek to have lunch at the Horny Toad, and Old Scottsdale to browse shops and galleries. Everyone would go back. Thank you Adam and Lindsey.

We are located in the northeast corner of Scottsdale, which has plenty to see and do! This is a perfect address to experience the West in its astounding and natural glory. We live in a small neighborhood with homes that were built over the last ten years. The unencumbered views of the mountains to the East are unforgettable. We're about 1/3 of a mile south of Dynamite Road, so there is very little road noise. It is quiet and expansive. About four miles up are beautiful horse ranches. Our home is perfect for dining in the back patio, or hiking right out the gate in the back of our yard.
