A homely family cottage! Not a hotel - a real bach.
Simple kiwi bach with pretty much all you need for a weekend skiing.
Super cozy house with lots of character!
Property was exactly what we wanted. Warm and comfortable.
Would be perfect for two families with kids skiing at Dobson & Roundhill.
The cottage is what traditional kiwi bach is about. Clean, tidy, we loved the fire and board games were played every night. We are a family of 7 ( 5 children aged 3 to 18 yrs old) so our 2 teenage sons were not impressed when there was no service (phone or internet) and that made it little bit tricky to keep in touch with each other especially as we had a medical emergency and we couldn't update without driving towards Tekapo for reception. We still enjoyed our stay.
The house was extremely warm and cosy and had everything we needed. The area of Burke's Pass is very interesting to explore too. We were close enough to Tekapo to enjoy Roundhill ski field and the hot pools. Thank you for a great time
Clean and tidy but Very old basic cottage with limited heating options, kitchen utensils old and worn, bathroom and beds very basic as well.
Cool area enjoyed local coffee cart !
