We bought this condo when our son moved to Boulder for school. Although we're from Massachusetts, we've chosen Boulder as our home. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share our home and our chosen home city of Boulder with visitors.
Jeanne Capachin purchased this condo in 2012
We chose the Seasons Condo for its location and the nice, quiet condo community. It's easy to get in and out, whether we need to get to Denver, hit the slopes, or bike around the city. We love being so close to the flat irons - we're in the city, but a little bit away from the students and the busy areas so we don't need to worry about raucous parties and traffic.
You're welcome to borrow the bikes, they're oldies but goodies. We've got a kitchen that we use, too, so you can actually cook if you want to. The home is well furnished and really comfortable for a family or two couples. We've included books on local highlights including maps, hiking trails, and local color. We've got high speed wireless and cable TV, along with Apple TV and subscriptions to content service providers you can use during your stay.
Thanks for letting us stay in your condo for the tournament. It was a great location for travelling back and forth to campus without having to go through town. Thanks also for taking our calls and getting back so quickly. We look forward to returning when we can spend some time visiting Boulder.
We loved the condo, it had everything we needed. I would recommend staying here to everyone. Most comfortable bed.
We stayed for two weeks while daughter was in graduate banking school at University. We kept our 11 month old granddaughter. Condo was quite and easy access to everything. Condo was well "stocked" with everything you need (linens, kitchen was well equipped, lots of storage). The only negative was the size of beds (full)--would have preferred larger, but all in all was good stay. Would recommend!
Boulder is great, but expensive for the size of the town. Housing prices are skyrocketing, with few places offering short-term vacation rentals right now. Lots of construction going on, so that may change in the future. This place was in a good location, in that it was just outside of town, but near multiple major roads with easy access to anywhere around. It's close to a great bike and jogging path through a lovely nature preserve. It has bikes and a pool and spa. The kitchen had a nice supply of basics, like cooking oil and spices, and coffee & filters (and a great little coffee maker). The condo itself is tired and in need of repairs and updating (I had to play with the toilet mechanism in the hall bath every time I wanted to flush, for example...someone had jury-rigged it prior, so someone knew it was a problem). However, the owners are lovely and I chalked that up to the fact that they live far away and cannot be around to fix every problem. It's a great little 2 bed, 2 bath condo for the money, with decent amenities and a generally quiet location. The first two days we were there (of the three), the local utilities were pounding away right outside our door installing new electric lines, I can't fault the owner for that one, either, but it made for a less than pleasant stay. A little revamping and maintenance and this would be an awesome rental. Boulder is fantastic, with great restaurants and really friendly people. We hope to be back soon, and have already recommended it to friends.
This property was conveniently located and served it's purpose explicitly for less than the cost of two hotel rooms. It took us a couple days to figure out the cable tv which I don't think was working correctly, but there was so much other stuff to do we didn't worry about it.
We could cook, sleep, swim & hot tub, or just relax after hiking and motorcycle touring in the mountains all day. The wifi is high speed & allowed me to complete some work in the evening that needed to be done. They even have a printer set up.
Boulder is any dirty city USA, but this property is clean, well maintained, and it felt safe. While it was at least 20 years old, it appeared modern & efforts were taken to maintain Crime Free Multi-Housing Standards. Parking lot lighting was adequate, while street lighting in the public areas was substandard for pedestrian traffic. A member of our party left a sweatshirt out on his bike by accident that was still there the next morning. The parking lot is patrolled very well by a vigilant private guard force. The full time residents were friendly and there was at least two dedicated motorcycle parking stalls on the property making it a motorcycle friendly destination.
We would stay here again!
PS: The security company does not want parking passes put on motorcycles due to past theft. They prefer a phone call about your arrival.
Very clean and convenient location / right off hwy and close to Flat Irons. Mattresses were comfy, washer and dryer very helpful and worked great, room for teenagers and co. Property is clean and quiet. Would definitely recommend and return.
Great condo getaway! The beds were wonderfully comfortable, the unit was clean, the pool was great and the location was very convenient to shopping and major routes to top sight seeing spots. I would absolutely make it our home away from home anytime we come to Boulder.
South Boulder Circle is just south of the CU Boulder Campus and an easy commute from Denver. Bike paths are easily accessible and Pearl Street is a short drive or ride away. The RTD is within walking distance - with a bus stop at the end of the road and the main commuter station a few steps further. Boulder is a great place to spend a few days when visiting Denver or to get acclimated to the altitude if you're travelling out to the Rockies for skiing. Being East Coasters, we stay in Boulder a few days, start with a ski day in Eldora to get used to soft snow, and then head up Rt 70 for a few days at the 'real' resorts. In Boulder restaurants are amazing, hiking trails and views are dramatic, and people are friendly. Best city in the US as far as we're concerned!
