Our Prescott Victorian was built in 1898 and completely restored in the late 1980's. It truly is magnificent ! It is beautiful on the inside and out. There are many original items in the house from furniture, and antiques to claw foot bath tubs and water heated original radiators. The parlor has not changed and includes a fireplace and originally restored Queen Ann furniture.
The home has 3 bedrooms up stairs and a third floor with a brand new queen sofa sleeper pull out couch and an iron full bed and the best views of the Prescott skyline.
We just added 3 new custom iron beds to second story bedrooms. One is a cal king and the other two are queen beds with brand new mattresses and bedding.
There is one bathroom downstairs off the kitchen and 2 bathrooms on the second floor each with claw foot bath tubs and showers. The third floor has a modern bathroom with a shower.
The kitchen is updated and stocked and includes a Wolf 6 burner range with double oven and an original hand made copper sink. There is artwork and paintings by famous Cowboy Artist and previous owner John Coleman who also resides in Prescott.
The home is very comfortable and elegant and perfect for a relaxing stay with family as well as a very romantic getaway. The views from the porch are breath taking of downtown Prescott and the skyline. The sun sets right off the porch and the Prescott downtown square is only a few hundred yards away and less than a 5 minute walk.
The house is excellent for all groups from a romantic couple get away to a large family or 2 families as it will sleep 10 comfortably utilizing the sofa sleeper.

My partner and I bought the house from her parents. Her father is a well known Cowboy Artist of America. He is a bronze sculptor and the home reflects some of his talents. He and his wife bought the house in 70's after a fire burned the third floor. They restored the home impeccably with attention to every detail. The home reflects this with each room being unique and decorated with attention to detail respecting and keeping the tradition of the era of which it was built.
My wife grew up here and we enjoy the home often ourselves. It is a great place to spend the holidays. We live in Ca but have lots of family in Prescott who visit the house often and help us keep it in excellent condition. We love coming to Prescott to do nothing but sit on the porch and enjoy the views !
Don purchased this house in 2011
My partner grew up in Prescott.
I went to Embry Riddle in Prescott and it is in many ways our second home. We love the area and the town. The people are friendly and know what they want. We respect the old feel of this town and love spending time in Prescott. There is no other town like it.
The greatest is the location.
In less than five minutes you can walk to the downtown square of Prescott. There is always some sort of event happening on the weekends at the square from parades to craft fairs, art shows and concerts. During the Holiday season the courthouse and downtown area is all lit up and absolutely amazing. You feel like you are literally in a wonderland. There are numerous restaurants and of course the famous whiskey row where each bar has its own character. Its not uncommon to see cowboys wearing their 6 shooters on their hips walking around. There is a great brewery and pizza place a stones throw from the house. We love to hang out on the porch and watch the festivities. The night view of the city is fantastic from the front porch. The stars off the back porch are breathtaking.

This house was perfect! We wanted a place for all to gather and this was it! We played games, walked to town and loved every moment. Each deck/porch was used. My only complaints were the fireplaces, toilets and internet. All items that can be resolved before the next visit. The fireplaces didn't work. It only needed to have the pilot light lit and we were told to not do it if we weren't familiar; rightfully so. The toilets were wonderfully authentic however, the chain fell off one and the tanks were so high we couldn't fix it. It was the only restroom downstairs. The internet claimed to not be paid up. We would still stay here in a heartbeat. LOVED EVERY MOMENT.
A wonderful property and a great experience! We needed some extra room for a family reunion and we saw this wonderful home pop up and we thought we would give it a try. So glad we did! It gave us a great opportunity to take advantage of the great downtown area. The unique home was a treasure trove of fun artifacts, beautiful architecture, and art! The family members who spent the night were very impressed with the comfort and beauty! The owners of the property were very responsive and accommodating. We would gladly do this again!
Beautiful home, excellent location to downtown and the owner was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with.
Great old house and setting, very comfortable and perfect location to the center of Prescott...
I recently stayed here with a few of my bridesmaids for a different type of bachelorette weekend. (We didn't want to do the "Vegas Party" style). We wanted something low-key, where we could sit around in our jammies and have wine and girl time! The house was absolutely perfect!! It was clean, well maintained, and fully stocked for our gourmet grilled cheese dinner. :) (The only thing missing was some foil and extra paper towels). Also, I would definitely not recommend for young children or very elderly- the house has a lot of balconies and steep staircases; and all bedrooms are located on the second or third floor. The floors are real wood, so wear socks or shoes too! The house manager stopped by and brought me a bouquet of flowers and some candy to congratulate me, which was so sweet. We really, really enjoyed our experience, and spending some quality time together. The beds are all VERY comfortable, and we had fun exploring the house and all the amazing details. We walked into town and had dinner at Rose's. (yum!) However, most of our fun was had just relaxing and enjoying the home. If you stay here take care of all the wonderful, irreplaceable antiques, books, and everything else they have paid great detail into providing. I'll never forget this weekend, it was truly one of the best weekends of my whole life, and thank you so very much for allowing us to stay. The character and energy of the house were all a part of this... We would come back in a heartbeat!!!
The house is beautiful and clean. The porch was great to sit on at night and listen to the band playing in the town square. Walked into town several times for breakfast and dinner. Wonderful visit overall.
Prescott is known for its many hiking and mountain biking trails.
There are also many great ATV and off road motorcycle trails with a very
Off Road Vehicle friendly forest surrounding Prescott. Most any terrain is accesible from
flat to Hilly trails to Rocky and forested areas to Hi desert open plains. Snowbowl located in Flagstaff is only about
1 our and 20 minutes away for great skiing and snowboarding...
Prescott really has it all !
