This 5th floor 2 bedroom unit features a private balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and the exquisite beach typical of the area from which you can savor a morning cup of coffee or even partake of a meal in the languid tropical breeze. The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed, mounted flat screen TV and adjoining master bath. The 2nd bedroom is suited with a twin bed and a trundle. The living room is the perfect place to enjoy a television show, drink in your gorgeous water view and dine in the comforts of home. To add to your creature comforts, there is cable TV, and Wi-Fi.

Built in 2008, each luxury condo within the 5 story complex is privately owned and decked with upscale touches like granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, open floor plan, private balcony with water views, and a master bath with a large Jacuzzi tub. The Palms boast both Gulf and Intracoastal views with a pool, spa and fishing dock bordering the Intracoastal Waterway. Located directly across the street from the Gulf, you are just steps away from the powdery white sand of Treasure Island Beach. The new Treasure Island Beach Trail starts across the street at the County Park Beach Access and is a paved, lighted mile long walkway running along the coast. We recently rented unit 402 at The Palms. We were very impressed with the unit's first appearance. Everything was sparkling clean, neat and orderly. There was a fresh clean scent in the air. The bedrooms were very roomy and comfortable in every way. I rather enjoyed sitting at the bar top to enjoy beverages and snacks. The unit is equipped with 2 full size bathrooms, one of which has a garden tub with built in spa. My wife enjoyed this very much. The second bathroom had a shower with glass enclosure. I had to clean the shower head because it wasn't operating properly due to iron build up in the nozzle. This was the hardest I had to work on my entire vacation, and it took me all of 3 minutes to fix! The air conditioner in the unit worked very well and was very quiet. The washer/dryer combo unit was very much appreciated as we didn't have any dirty clothes for the return trip home. All in all I feel that my money was well spent on a fabulous unit that exceeded my expectations. The only complaint that I have is that we did purchase the recreation package and feel that the package was a waste of money. The package was $79 and as it turns out, ALL of the recreation items are shared by the users in the building. There were 6 bicycles to use, of which only one was road worthy so we couldn't go for a ride. The kayaks were almost never available and when they were, someone took the seatbacks off and brought them in so that they would be there when they wanted to use them again. The beach chairs were too few, because one family was taking the chairs to their unit. There were beach carts and life jackets horse shoes and gas grills available but we didn't use them so I can't over an opinion on those items. Lastly, the pool area- the pool was beautiful and always impeccably clean, yet I never once witnessed any one maintain it! There is a hot tub which is oh so great after a long day at the beaches or what have you. The switch to start the hot tub was broken upon our arrival so using a little old fashioned yankee ingenuity I was able to get it to work and stay working for my entire visit. The unit itself was worth every penny spent on vacation. The view from the 4th floor corner unit is amazing! The building is very quiet, and even more so after dark. Parking was plentiful and everyone always respected us and our personal property. Rent it. I promise you, you WON'T be disappointed!

Very convenient, good view, adjacent to Publix

Managers were very helpful with instructions for building and unit access upon arrival. Even managed to arrange for an early availability of unit. The accommodations were attractive and very adequate. Plenty of towels, instructions for the property were very comprehensive. Loved having 2 balconies for variety in view & one was always less breezy, more sunny, etc. Restaurant and area recommendations were helpful. Unit could use some TLC, particularly deep cleaning of kitchen area. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and awesome views...alittle worn

We have been vacationing to Treasure Island for about 7 years now and we love it here. Each year we seem to change where we stay to get a different feel for each part of the area. This was our first time staying somewhere where there was no front desk person. Alittle concerning due to safety but in the end, was not a problem at all. We had our codes to enter the building and never felt unsafe. The room was a bit worn. We had stained sheets, the blinds were missing planks, the mattress had cushins shoved underneath to help its sinking in the center, the bathtub panel kept falling off and the floors were quite sandy still when we arrived. We alerted the owners first thing as we did not want to be held responsible for any of those damages and they were quick to respond and thank us for letting them know. The views were amazing and location was great which were our main purpose for staying here. After a wash of the sheets (stains were still there but atleast they were washed) we were set to go. The pool area was great, got to see many dolphins off the dock and being able to lay out by the pool and see the boats and dolphins pass by were priceless. Having a grocery store next door was a plus. We would stay here again and hope we would not have the same issues as we did prior.

stained sheets, dirty floors and non working ice maker Unit 402

Have stayed in the "Palms" before, in a unit owned by a private owner. Loved it. Found a unit managed by Teeming VR, I think is the name of the mgmt. group. We are still here, through the 15th of June. So far, we have stained sheets on the bed...I've washed them myself, but stains are permanent. Dirty floors.. as in sticky to your feet upon arrival, an ice maker in freezer that was 1) filled with brownish, lumped together ice, 2) non functioning 3) turned OFF. My husband had to spend the first hour of our arrival defrosting and fixing the icemaker. It still does not dispense ice as it is supposed to, but at least, due to his efforts, it makes ice and we reach inside to get it. Fridge had HAIRS inside of it. I had to wash before I put groceries in it. "Master " bed sags in the middle...it appears to lack any central support for the king size mattress. There are no lights in the living room. The ONLY light in the living room is a table lamp, but there is NO TABLE to put it on so it sits on the floor in a corner behind the couch. Fire hazard? Ya think? The TV took my son , an electronic genius, to get it working. There is a box that appears to once have been a cable box. It is non functioning and is hot as the devil. Other than that, we're having a good time. We have vacationed here for 10 yrs now, and will hope to return to our old condo, down the street , in an older but much better kept building, in the future. We will be sure to book there early to avoid having to pay twice as much as we usually do for THIS poorly equipped unit.

Great time at The Palms of Treasure Island

We had a great time, this was our first trip to Treasure Island, we were there for a wedding that we turned into a vacation! The Unit is as pictured, the new bed in the 2nd bedroom is awesome! The location was great, walk across the street to the beach, walk next door to Pub-lix Supermarket, walk to restaurants... The property was clean and well maintained. We would stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends. We purchased the activity package, and while we did not use it as much as we could/should have, walking the beach and laying by the pool is great too, the equipment was well maintained, easy to access and offered a lot of options. From the pool we could watch the dolphins in the inter-coastal waterway. We loved John's Pass Village & Boardwalk, watch the boats, dolphins, pelicans, shopping, great restaurants and bars. We enjoyed eating at Shrimpy's, Ricky T's (great entertainment also) and Caddy's on the Beach (wish we had found this earlier in the week). The owner/manager answered all of our questions before arrival. Great time!

Our new home away from home

We booked this location after the place we have been staying for the past twelve years changed management companies and the prices went up and the reviews went down. Are we glad we did, we loved the Palms and the location was nearly perfect for our trip.

We stayed in unit 402 on the top floor and the place was simply amazing, fantastic views of the Gulf and Beaches, awesome kitchen space, two full bedrooms with a master bed with King bed and whirlpool tub and a Queen bed room and common second bathroom, two balconies and a large living area and in unit washer and dryer.

It appeared that the unit must have recently been renovated. Some of the closets and cabinets had construction items stored in them and there was some construction dust in the corners from where it seems they had pulled up the carpets and stained the concrete floors but it did not hinder the overall experience of the place. Overall the unit was clean and ready for our arrival, bed linens were clean and fresh and towels were all clean and fresh. We did have dirty dishes in the cabinets and some dirty silverware upon our arrival but a wash in the dish washer and everything was clean and ready for use.

The only thing the unit could have used was toilet paper for use upon arrival and some utensils in the kitchen, there were lots of dishes and silverware but no real serving items or pots and pans available.

The location is perfect for any trip to Treasure Island, it is directly next door to a Publix grocery store and within walking distance of everything you can want to see. You can walk across the street to the beach, walk south a short walk along the beach to be at Caddy's or Ka'Tiki or walk north along the beach or sidewalk to hit John's Pass or any of the other prime locations like Ricky T's that make Treasure Island a great place to vacation.

The parking garage area provides a safe and secure location to park your vehicle and the keypad coded entry doors give you another layer of safety and security during your stay. On the entry level there is a large gas BBQ grill the hot tub and the pool, note the pool is not heated so it is really seasonal but the hot tub is very relaxing.

The management company TeemingVR is very easy to work with and very friendly and accomodating. We had such a great time we wanted to extend our stay and all it took was one email and they took immediate care of us and accommodated our needs.
