We enjoyed our weekend at Creekside! The weather was perfect, and even more delightful was the view out every window of the beautiful rhododendron. There was plenty of space for our group of six ladies. We loved the porch! It was so refreshing to listen to the bubbling creek and the morning bird song while we enjoyed a hot cup of tea together.
This is a lovely house with everything that one could need for a family getaway. It is clean, quaint, and very calming.
Overall, a fantastic spot to relax with family and friends. I've never experienced a vacation rental so completely equipped. Huge yard, we had family volleyball on a couple nights; played in the creek, fished, and some of made it over to Latrobe for Steelers Training camp. (Our stated reason for being in Ligonier.) We are all looking at our calendars for the next chance we have to get together here!
This was the best week ever !!!
Everything you could need or want for the perfect vacation is here in this country charmer .
Just stop by Giant eagle 1 mile away and stock your refrigerator and you never have to start your car the rest of the trip.
Fish for trout, crawfish, frogs. Splash in the creek or just sit back and listen to the babbling brook.
This is a 10 1/2 , on a scale of 10
We have stayed at this darling little hidden cabin in the woods for 4 years and absolutely love it! Four bedrooms and two full baths with more space for more family and friends to crash makes it a perfect getaway for small
Or larger groups. Kitchen is fully equipped with all the gadgets you would ever want. Loyalhanna creek is in your back yard for exploring and fishing, and the yard is enormous which means kids can play outside and be kids! Go stay at Creekside...it is our home away from home and will be back next summer for another 6 weeks!
The house was wonderful. We stayed with 4 adults and two kids, ages ranging from 1-66. The house met all our needs! It was incredibly clean and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was wonderful! We ate breakfast and dinner there both nights and used the grill outside one night. It was close to Idlewild park where we took the kids during the day but close enough that I could bring the baby back for an afternoon nap and then head back to the park to meet up with my older daughter. The neighborhood was quiet and it was so nice to be on vacation but have the comforts of home. Thank you Bev!!
