Great location and comfortable accomodations

  • 5 of 5

Really liked how it was centrally located in the valley and a short drive to Avon, Vail and anywhere else we needed to go. The condo is very comfortable to stay in as you can tell someone lives there most of the year since it is fully stocked with everything you need to cook (except food of course). The fitness center is a great perk and would recommend this for someone looking for a chance to work out while on vacation.

Good for family ski vacation. Good communication. Recommendation for owners. Warning to renters.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 6 nights during ski season. The unit was spacious enough for us (family of 5) but there were only 3 beds, so either 2 kids had to share a bed or one would sleep on the couch in the living room. It was clean and tidy and had nice bedding (pillows a bit hard in the master bedroom but we stole softer ones from kids' rooms), plenty of towels, and a decently-equipped kitchen.

Also, the communication, through itrip, was excellent.

As an improvement, the place would be a bit more family friendly if there were some board games, playing cards, etc. I assume most people there for skiing will have flown in and wouldn't bring that sort of thing. I didn't notice whether there were movies because we didn't use the TV at all.

Now the warning: if you are using a 2-wheel drive vehicle, the driveway to the condo is precarious. Leaving the condo in the morning, it has quite a steep uphill with a sharp curve. We were in a Dodge Grand Caravan and on 3 of the snowy mornings it took me several attempts, with wheels spinning, to get up that hill and around the bend onto the road, even after it had been plowed. Fortunately, there is a parking area once you get around that bend (50-75 feet from the unit entrance) where we were able to park when we were concerned about being able to get out of the driveway.

I would definitely consider staying there again. It was convenient for Vail (20 min drive) and Beaver Creek (5 mins), had decent grocery and other stores nearby, and was warm, comfortable and welcoming.

Great ski getaway

  • 5 of 5

My fiance and I had a great time at this rental. It was very spacious, clean and cozy. Its perfectly located to ski to Vail and Beaver Creek. It was easy to get to and the neighborhood was wonderful. The town of Edwards was a great place to stay and much more peaceful than the crowds at Vail. The amenities were exceptional and every view was spectacular. We will definitely be looking for this rental for our next visit to Colorado.

Great Place

  • 5 of 5

Our recent stay at Arlington Place #13 was great. It's away from any hustle and bustle that Edwards might have so it was very quiet. It may have been the best equipped place in the kitchen for little things that aren't there in most places versus other condos we've stayed at. The private hot tub is extremely nice with it's own enclosed area. New or newer carpet and the bedrooms are nice size. Just a very nice place. Quite of few stairs as it is a tri-level, but they are not continuous. If you are looking for a quite place (even though it's part of a duplex community) this is a good selection. Or, if you want a base camp for hiking in the summer around the Vail Valley area or other nearby places, this is a good place. Robin was the contact and although I had no issues, but just a few questions, she always answered email or returned phone calls very quickly.

A Vail vacation isn’t just about skiing! During the spring and summer months you can enjoy a variety of Vail summer activities that are fun for all ages.

The Vail ski area was established in the 1960s and is home to the largest mountain ski resort in the U.S. – the second largest in North America. It was originally styled after an Austrian ski town.

Beaver Creek Resort is a World Class Ski Resort located in the western United States, near Avon, Colorado. The resort comprises three villages, Beaver Creek Village, Bachelor Gulch, and Arrowhead Mountain Resort to the west.

Past the Beaver Creek gate lies an idyllic and intimate village where legendary ski terrain meets luxury mountain homes. A place where immaculate grooming and world-class skiing give way to warm après ski cookies and five-star cuisine. The mountain brings families together for ice skating, storytelling and frolicking in the snow. The sun shines bright over 300 days a year, lighting up 1,832 acres of pristine powder and 11 high-speed quad chairlifts. Beaver Creek skiing and snowboarding schools offer classes to challenge and excite experts and beginners alike. From the gentle, manicured slopes of Bachelor Gulch to the steep bumps of Grouse Mountain, skiers and riders of all abilities will feel at home. 800 groomed acres of pure corduroy for your skiing and boarding pleasure. Embracing the resort’s fine attention to detail, more than 150 mountain hosts are committed to providing you the highest level of guest service in the ski industry. Every year, athletes and spectators from around the world migrate to Beaver Creek for the Birds of Prey Men's World Cup.

Beaver Creek offers the amenity of quality time. From the village plaza where kids can run safe and free, to the wild ride of the tubing hill and the warm chocolate chip cookies greeting them off the last lift. Take in the mountain beauty with 4x4 Jeep Tours, Scenic Lift Rides and even enjoy Gem Panning with the little ones! Beaver Creek Rodeo! Dust off your cowboy boots and tack on some spurs for the 13th Annual Beaver Creek Rodeo Series on Thursday nights. Vilar Performing Arts Center, provides entertainment in the heart of Beaver Creek, featuring artists such as Alison Krauss, Lyle Lovett, Trace Adkins & more!

Take on one of Colorado's many 14,000-foot peaks with a guided hike. Play 18 holes of mountain golf on a challenging course. Cast for rainbow trout in a clear mountain stream. Or simply spend quality time with your family and nature with a leisurely hike through the valley.  This is North America's World Cup mountain, as beautiful under summer flowers as it is under snow.
