The property and condo are great for up to 2 couples or a small family who want a great beach location.The lack of curtains on the seaside/patio side don't allow for any privacy at all...this means the living area is visible to anyone...always!We found the unit to be very well stocked and didn't lack any normal household items that might be needed.The beds were very soft and if you are used to a firmer mattress, your back will know the difference.
Our biggest complaint was a week w/o cable.We know it's a holiday, but it was also an advertised convience.The area is switching from one provider to another and no one had the foresight to have the conversion done til the previous provider shut it down.We were also w/o internet for a couple of days which adds to the frustration we encountered.My job and family situations do not allow me to be unreachable.No compensation was offered by the owners who were aware of the problem as they were in the unit previously.
Overall, the unit is quite nice,the location is great and if a great beach location is your desire... this will suit you fine... our timing was just lousey. We felt the owners should have reacted quicker knowing they had guests arriving who would expect the advertised conviences.Guests were arriving the day we left and they will encounter the same shortfalls.
This is a great vacation site at the ABACOS. The location was great, very private and quiet, great for relaxation. The beach was one of the best in the world, it is in Treasure Cay. The apartment was wonderful, very clean, had every thing you need, only buy your food which is available at a local grocery store, you go there buy golf cart or rent a car. Very safe area. You can enjoy the beach, or go snorkling, diving, and many other activities. People at the Bahamas are very nice, honest and respectful people. Every one wants to help you and make you feel happy. They also advise you how to save money. They are amazing people, felt like I am at home. I will thi k of going back for sure.
We enjoyed the month of May 2016 at Sand Dollar #3. It was a beautiful condo stocked with all the necessities you would need. The view was great, the weather was wonderful (even the couple of tropical downpours we experienced). The Sand Dollar complex itself is a quiet, relaxing and comfortable place. #3 was that and more. It was clean and well stocked with cleaning supplies, paper products; all the things that aren't fun to shop for once you get there. If we did have an issue the Property Manager, Eloise was always available and so eager to fix whatever. We were greeted the first couple of days by Evelyn with fresh lobster salad and a home made apple pie. My husband is still talking about it. We travelled to a couple of different islands, swam with the sting rays, pigs and sharks on the Prozac and enjoyed a great meal at Leeward Yacht Club with $4.00 drinks on Green Turtle Cay. Fished with Captain Mark - great day ending up at Nippers for lunch and fresh fish for 3 days after. Rented a car for one day to explore the island. We had so much fun with the locals up north in Coopers Town and Fire Wood we never made it to the South end. All in all it was a perfect retirement gift to ourselves. We would highly recommend Sand Dollar #3 and a trip to Treasure Cay. It truly is Paradise!
We stayed for a month in this wonderful condo right on the beach. All of the neighborhoods we met were fantastic! The owner was very responsive via email to any and all questions we had. The beach was exquisite and the condo was extremely clean and wonderfully equipped. We would definitely stay here again. The only drawback to being on any island is the cost of food at the grocery store and the restaurants. We rented a golf cart which is a must but should have also rented a car for a day or two to go to Hope Town and Marsh Harbor.
Our family needed a well deserved vacation and we all decided to go Treasure Cay.
The first task was to look for a place to stay, then I came accross this unit and inmediately new this was it.
It has everything you need and more to spend days of total relaxation, beautiful
beach and close to restaurants, boat rentals and grocery stores.
We loved the island decor in it , the kitchen has everything you need from electric appliances to pots and pans.
You could not ask for anything better.
I am sure we'll be back............................
This property looks EXACTLY like the photos. Beautiful! Very clean! Very well-maintained! We had an awesome vacation. We took a cab from the airport and called the property manager when we arrived to let us in- she showed up within three minutes of the phone call. I would highly recommend this property to others and we plan to come back again.
Golf carts or bikes (recommended), snorkeling, boat rentals, day excursions to other islands are available.
Please note that electricity,, cable and internet service at times can be unreliable on the island. Usually they do not go out for long periods of time, however this is to be expected and something the owner or condo has no control over.

Deposit: $500.00 (per week) nonrefundable deposit is due immediately to the Owner to reserve the Lease Period.
Property Damage Protection: $69.00 is due immediately to CSA. Balance of Rental Amount is due to Owner within 30 days of first day of the Lease Period. Balance must be received by due date or the Lease will be terminated.
