Kihei contains 6 miles of the most picturesque beaches around. It maintains a quaint beachside community vibe. It is small enough to walk to any location. Your kondo is only a few blocks from Charley Young and Kamaole beaches and parks. You can walk north or south on S. Kihei road and find great food within a few minutes. Or if you want Iron Chef style food, make reservations at Morimotos at the Andaz. Just drive a few minutes south to Wailea. This area contains many of the best restaurants on the island. You will also find world class golf courses with world class views in Wailea.

I own and manage this vacation rental condo in Kihei, Maui. My goal in buying this condo is to motivate people to take time out for themselves. Not only to experience new moments but to regain an appreciation for the things you are around most frequently. Traveling to Hawaii doesn't have to be expensive either. Staying in a condo is a unique and very affordable alternative to a hotel. At some point in the future this kondo will be my permanent residence. The natural light, cool ocean breezes and tropical scenery provide a rejuvenating energy that starts my every day here. I don't usually rent a car because the close proximity of everything in Kihei negates the need for me. But I would recommend one for at least a couple days to travel to more distant adventures. This third floor unit is fabulous! Comfortable furnishings, thoughtful details and total Hawaiian ambiance. The lanai is perfect for morning coffee, reading, dozing, heated card games and cocktails! This being an apartment complex rather than a resort is nice...very quiet and relaxing. The pool and grounds are nicely kept. Location, location, location...a good beach, groceries, shopping, and restaurants are all within walking distance. Josh answered all our questions and was very helpful. We will definitely stay here again!!!
We had a great time at your location. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to save money for Helichoper rides, zip lining, dinner cruises, and Marriott luau. But stay away from the Diamond resort time share discount tickets, the two hours wasted was not worth it. But the stay at kalama was well worth every penny spent. We stayed 7 days and not once had a problem. Thanks for sharing your home. I would reccommed it to anyone of my closet friends and relatives.
Has a great location walking distance from the beach, food and activities for all ages. The condo is a perfect size and has everything you need, including beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards for a day at the beach.
This property is on the third level, so if you don't like stairs, .... We really didn't mind the stairs. It was wonderful because we often had a nice breeze at that level. We had a unit which was very private, right in the middle of the walkway, so very little traffic past our place. We looked out on the pool, but the trees helped to keep our space private when on the deck. Very little conversation could be heard from other units. Felt nice and private most of the time. Deck furniture comfortable
The queen sized bed was very comfortable. The sheets and bedding very nice quality. Tons of pillows and cushions of various sizes and thicknesses.
Lovely towels. Interesting and attractive decorations and furniture. Very nicely decorated.
Kitchen has a great coffee maker, toaster and blender. Dishes were also nice. Full size gas stove and fridge. Lots of cupboard space, and shelf space. A bit short on utensils. Cutting knives are dull, and serrated, so how to sharpen? Pots worked, but I am sure Josh will be replacing them soon. Most people don't cook much when on holiday. We did.
All kinds of books and brochures to find out about Maui, but not necessarily current info, as prices seem to be going up everywhere, as expected. Lots of books to read, shows to watch, games to play, and a nice TV in the living room. TV in bedroom as well, but we didn't use it.
Josh also has a closet jam packed with beach toys and items, which was wonderful. Everything to make your trips to the beach fun!
Parking spaces are narrow but workable. Felt secure here.
Also, very clean! Good laundry at reasonable rates as well.

There was a beach close by (about 1-2 blocks). Lots of stores within a 5 or 6 block walk. Restaurants, markets etc. in easy walking distance. Really nice playground area for family within 3 blocks. Surfing, snorkeling etc. Nice swimming beach on the left side, and good beginner surfing area on the right when you get down to the water.
Yes, I would recommend this to any family or friends. It gets a bit crowded with 3 people there, but it works. Maybe a family with 2 kids could work as well, but it would be hard to do with 2 couples. We had 2, then 3 people and we were happy.
