Our home features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths (one en suite), in 1150 sq ft all on one level. A new home in 2006, It's been fully renovated and beautifully furnished in 2011 to welcome our guests. We're nestled in the Queen Creek/San Tan Valley area south of Phoenix, close to golfing at Johnson Ranch, and to local bike trails and hiking in the San Tan Mountain Regional Park.
With sleeping space for 6, an open plan living/dining room, and a breakfast bar separating kitchen and dining area, the house is designed for comfortable socializing and visiting. We offer a large-screen TV and Blueray in the living room, an iPod dock with home theatre sound, as well as cable, wireless internet and phone. We've selected a small collection of favourite movies and books to relax with.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, en suite bath, and plenty of closet space, along with a large-screen TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed and again, loads of closet space. The third bedroom features two twin beds. All three rooms have ceiling fans and blackout curtains.
Our covered patio sits in a private and secluded yard, ideal for those warm (and cool) evenings. We always love looking up into the Arizona night sky and enjoying the quiet.

Dee and David are a professional couple from Calgary, Alberta, who don't like winter. At all. And that creates some challenges. We have a fabulous daughter who loves horses, and we enjoy riding with her in spectacular settings. We love taking the opportunity to get away together while being conscious of budget, and we've had such good experiences travelling to vacation rentals that we wanted to share our experience and become owners.

Queen Creek and San Tan Valley have all the benefits of winter warmth and sunshine, while being in a semi-rural area with recreational activities nearby. We literally have the desert on one side, surprisingly green farmland on the other, and the San Tan Mountain regional park above us. We're minutes from the Johnson Ranch golf area, the new Queen Creek YMCA at Copper Basin, and fresh produce from Schnepf Farms and the Queen Creek Olive Mill. We're far enough from Phoenix to appreciate the quiet, but near enough to enjoy the museums, sports and cultural events, and varied shopping.
We love the unique and changing desert, the open skies, and that desert moon.
Being minutes away from golf, hiking, biking, two community pools (one seasonal, the other at the Copper Basin Y with its full fitness facility and daily classes) is great.
We enjoy spectacular sunsets with the San Tan Mountains framing the sky, and at other times watching the lightning play around the whole East Valley.
Queen Creek/San Tan Valley is a great home base for easy day trips to Tucson and its mountain parks, to the nearby Casa Grande ruins in Coolidge, and to the many other nearby golfing opportunities. Sedona (just stunning) and the Grand Canyon are convenient short trips for two days or more.
Loved our one month vacation at the your home. Found your property very spacious and comfortable. Was very well stocked with all of supplies for bathrooms and kitchen, games, puzzles and movies for family which was very much appreciated. Location was great, close to grocery stores and a lot of the restaurants. Everything was in close proximity, were able to get to all of this from 10 to 20 minutes. Thank you for the great experience for our first stay in Arizona as retirees.
We rented month of February 2017. The property is well maintained and very affordable. We took many day trips and one overnight. The location is very easy to find everything you need close by and very easy driving. The damage deposit was returned to us extremely promptly. Would definitely recommend it as a nice place to stay.
My wife and I enjoy the area. The home is new and well maintained. Any minor issues are always handled by Dee and David. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet. It is very likely we will be contacting them for future rentals.
We spent the month of February at Desert Moon. This property provided us with everything we needed for a month of relaxation and enjoyment. It was very well stocked with daily items needed. It was so nice to use what was available and replace what we used when we checked out. Having a washer and dryer available was a definite plus. This home was very clean and well cared for. While it is a bit remote, the mountain views and peaceful area added to our enjoyment. There is a Wal Mart, grocery, gas station, and restaurants very nearby. We had no problem getting to any place we wanted to go. Thank you for providing us with a wonderful stay. We would definitely rent again.
We love this place! A very nicely appointed 3-bedroom, 2-bath. Everything is clean, organized, super comfy. It's very close to family, which is also extremely important! The pool in the complex is perfect. Super cold which is great for an Arizona summer! We'll definitely be back!!
As we have arrived home to -30 weather we are dreaming about our time in paradise in Arizona. We really enjoyed this home, it is very spacious and well equipped. We had company a couple of times during our stay and everyone had lots of room, with 3 great bedrooms and 2 baths life is very easy. Kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials, appliances are in great shape. The never ending supply of cleaning products and laundry supplies is so appreciated. Great location for travelers, golfers, shoppers and sightseers. This location is so amazingly quiet and great for just relaxing outdoors. The only thing we missed was having a heated pool. This house is so well priced for a great stay in paradise. Homeowners truly wish for you to enjoy your time in their vacation home.

Renters are required to pay their refundable damage deposit at the time of booking (500 USD). Thirty days prior to arrival renters are required to pay 100 percent of their rental fee in addition to the cleaning fee. At the time of final payment renters will receive the Renter's Guide.
