6 bedroom, 4.5 bath villa overlooking Christiansted & the blue Caribbean Sea!
This beautiful large villa rests on a hill just southwest of Christiansted. It has one of the largest pools on St. Croix, several outdoor spaces for relaxing, and a view that will amaze you! It is perfect for large groups and family gatherings. The interior rooms are spacious and comfortable. The main level has the kitchen and living room, a half bathroom, and one ensuite bedroom. The other bedrooms and bathrooms are all upstairs, along with a lounge and roomy balcony looking out to the incredible expansive view. Everything is set up for your comfort and enjoyment. There's even a hammock! The view is of the Christiansted harbor, the historic town, and out to the blue Caribbean Sea. On clear days St. Thomas, St. John, and the BVI are silhouetted in the distance, 40 miles away. At night, the lights of passing cruise ships twinkle in the distance. Since the villa is centrally located, it is easy to participate in any activity or cultural event the island has to offer. Go out and have fun! The serene house and view will be waiting for you when you return!

Why Christie Powers chose Estate Contentment
When we were looking for a home on St. Croix, we fell in love with the expansive view from this house! There is a view from all sides! We walked out onto the covered gallery, and thought, 'This is it!'
What makes this Villa unique
What could be better than a view of the blue Caribbean, the historic town of Christiansted and the harbor, and the islands of St. Thomas, St. John, and BVI? From the villa we can watch the boats come and go. The Seaplane that travels from St. Croix to St. Thomas is also fun to watch. Below the villa are lots of trees, which attract birds. There's so much to see, and the feeling is of serenity! As avid readers, we enjoy the large covered gallery. It is the perfect place to enjoy the island breezes, and not have to squint at the pages! The wide open spaces of the house, and the chance to take a quick cool off in the pool make this a special villa.

Very comfortable and spacious. Excellent view.
Fantastic place for family gathering. Cool evening breezes are delightful. Games and treasure hunt are terrific. You can't beat it for your stay in St. Croix!
Hello! Thank you for writing your review. It was such a pleasure meeting your family, and having them stay at the villa! You have such a lovely family! I do hope you will be returning, and remember, there will be a new treasure hunt set up to test your skills! The owner has over 100 clues, and can devise a more challenging one for your return visit. Kind regards, Christie
A beautiful view, spacious house and relaxation
Our stay at serenity's treasure was a wonderful relaxing adventure. We had 6 adults an two children stay at the house. We all did the treasure hunt which was very entertaining. The treasure was a nice surprise.
Christianstead in a beautiful quaint town. We also had an awesome day sailing with big beards adventures...what a great captain and crew. We will be back!
Breathtaking views, perfect location, spacious living area and full of surprises!
The house was absolutely amazing. It is extrodanarily clean and well kept and everything we would need came with the house: soap, dishwasher fluid, laundry detergent, and many beach towels. It also came pre-stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. All things to save a ton of money on just everyday items that you wouldn't think of. The views over Christiansted were spectacular. Being able to see a the entire harbor and beyond was perfect. You could go outside and relax on one of the covered porches where there was a full table or out poolside on the sun deck. The location just off the Christiansted bypass allowed easy access to all points of the island. You could be in downtown Christiansted in minutes or all the way over to Fredricksted in 25-30. For additional entertainment, there are also close to 100 different board and card games for all ages and the owner put together a really fun and entertaining scavenger hunt that awaited us upon our arrival. We had a great time on our first night figuring out the clues and finding Serentity's Treasure! I would highly recommend anyone coming to St Croix to consider this wonderful rental. I know my group was extremely satisfied and will definitely be staying here again if the size of the group warrants it.
Thanks so much for the wonderful memories.
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to write a review! This villa just can't be better described, and it sounds like you totally enjoyed your time there! The owners are all about families or groups coming together around the large pool, in the spacious great room and balconies, or over the games and treasure hunt. When you return, there will be a different treasure hunt. They have over 30 versions! Just ask for a more advanced one. We do try to have everything there that you could need to have a wonderful vacation. It is all about building memories! We would welcome you back any time! Thank you for being such wonderful guests! Christie
Beautiful home and lots of privacy in Paradise!
What a beautiful home with a simply stunning view! My husband and I just spent a wonderful week at Serenity's Treasure.
It is a very spacious and inviting home with incredible views from every room. Each bedroom was painted with vibrant, cheerful colors and had everything you could think of or need. The kitchen and dining area was incredibly well stocked and bathrooms had beautiful tile work. There is fun in store for kids and adults of all ages from the plethora of board games to the engaging treasure hunt with great prizes for kids and adults.
Because it was so close to everything, we got to do a lot of activities and still have several hours of fun and relaxation at the private pool back at the house, including Virgin Kayak Bioluminescent tour, Big Beard's full day of snorkeling, 340 Crossfit and the Cruzan Factory Rum Tour.
Our favorite meals were brunch at Blue Water Terrance and dinners at Deep End Bar and Grill with an ocean view and Savant.
A slice of paradise!
Loved it so much I went back again...and again!
I love this House and I love this Island! They are the perfect combination if your vacation intent is to truly relax. The house sits high on a quiet hillside above Christiansted harbor sporting an amazing view and unfailing breezes. The house is huge. I was there with a group of 4 and we each had our own room and bath with bedrooms to spare. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own quiet spot. The pool is large and beautiful and a great alternative to the beach if you just want to hole up for the day napping and cooling off. I love sitting on the covered veranda in the morning watching the sea planes land and take off from Christiansted harbor. One of my favorite things about St Croix is that it is so down to earth and not a tourist trap, but if you have a hankering to do some power shopping it's only a quick half hour by sea plane to St Thomas harbor so an easy day trip. One of the wonderful things about the island is that nothing is ever than more than half hour to 45 minutes away. This house is only ten minutes from downtown St Croix and there are quite a few excellent restaurants from local fare to gourmet close at hand. I first went in April 2015 to escape a horrible Boston winter, returned the following July to shake off the stress of work and returned again this past April just because I can't help going back now. I was lucky enough to have booked this time during the "Taste of St Croix" celebration showcasing all the wonderful restaurants on the island. Things definitely not to miss are the scuba tour on Buck Island and night kayaking on the bioluminescent bay. The owners of the house also have the largest collections of games I have ever seen so you can entertain yourself while sipping your Cruzan Confusions all night. An extra bonus is the treasure hunt they set up for guests. It's definitely a challenge but completing it is worth the effort. Needless to say I will be back again in the near future!
Hello! What a wonderful review! You know we love having you stay at the villa, and will welcome you any time you can return! The next time you come, let's discuss other things for you to explore. There is so much to do here. After living here 12 years, and driving all of the time due to being a Realtor, I am still exploring little coves, and finding little local restaurants. St. Croix is an amazing place, and Serenity's Treasure is the perfect place you describe. Bringing families and groups of people together is the hope of the owners, and why they have so many games for their guests. The owners have an expanded version of the treasure hunt. Perhaps next time you will be ready for that challenge? I am looking forward to your next visit, Christie
Treasure in the Caribbean
Our group of 8 had an absolutely wonderful time at Serenity's treasure. the property manager met us at the airport to give us keys and to make sure we find the place (which is, by the way, visible from the Christiansted wharf - it is the only white villa with baby blue shutters and roof on the hill above the town).
The house is big: it has 6 bedrooms (not 5) and enough common spaces for game playing, swimming, lounging inside or outside and eating and cooking all at the same time. The owner provided uncounted beach towels in addition to the regular bathroom towels. There is a cool box with freezer inserts if you are inclined to take your own lunch out with you. What can I say: it is a home away from home.
We were 5 divers and 3 snorkelers. The house's porch was festooned with diving and snorkeling equipment and everything dried overnight in the breeze. The house is airy with high ceilings, cool tiled floors, screens and doors to every porch or balcony (I think there was a balcony to just about every room) and ceiling fans were everywhere, so air conditioning is absolutely unnecessary. We loved that: it was outdoor living even inside. The house is immaculate and wonderfully maintained. There are more games in the game room than anyone can play in a lifetime. And if you like escape rooms (or other interactive puzzle game situations), ask the owner for the expanded 30 clues version of the treasure hunt. We couldn't decide if we should be solving the treasure hunt puzzles or play games. Usually we did both at the same time. Basically, we left the house to dive and then we rushed back to the house to play there. We did not need any other entertainment for the long week we stayed at Serenity's treasure. What could be better then that?
Hello! Thank you for such a great and detailed review! Yes, you are right. The owner has added another bedroom that was being used for another purpose, and I need to update the listing, along with new photos. I love it that you left the house to dive, and then rushed back to play! That is exactly what the owners intend is for groups to come together, enjoy the property, play together, or just relax! As you mention, they provide all those games, and then, their own special treasure hunt! I have done the short version of the treasure hunt. I think the 30 clue expanded version would be wonderful, and might take me several days.
Please return to Serenity's Treasure. It was a pleasure meeting you!
