    The BEST Location at all of Shanty Creek. Gorgeous year round condo, for a large family. Bright, sunny, 1200 Sq. Foot unit with view of hill and golf course. Right in the middle of it all! Full kitchen, breakfast nook as well as dining room. Beautiful natural fireplace, cozy sitting area and all the fixings for a fabulous stay! Large Master Bedroom with Queen bed, adjoining bath with Jacuzzi tub, lots of closet space and private deck. Second bedroom has a bunk bed with Bunk Beds, 2 twin and 1 full Bed, also has a deck, vanity and large closets. Living room has pull out sofa for one more sleeper.

    Early check in and late check out, if available and confirmed on day of check in.

                                            We had plenty of room to separate at the end of the day to relax. Convenitenly located right across the parking lot from the chair lift. With a 5 & 10 yr old it made life so simple. The equipment locker was convenient as well, instead of lugging all our equipment up & down the stairs we could grab & go easily. The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils needed. Laura was very nice & provided prompt responses when booking & during our stay. Would recommend this to any family looking to go skiing & make this their home base during their trip to Shanty Creek/Schuss Mt!

                                            We had a wonderful time. The condo was just what was stated to me, and the view was beautifu.! Laura was a wonderful host and the condo was warming and we felt right at home! Would recommend it to anyone.

                                            We had a wonderful week in this condo. The location is perfect as a home base for travels to Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Glen Arbor/ Sleeping Bear Dunes, and even Mackinac. The resort was quiet with the lodge actually closed, but this was perfect for us. The pool was open and we were able to get a great Bloody Mary at the golf club grill. The outdoor pool, tennis courts, and restaurants at Summit Village are a short drive away. The condo itself was wonderful, and we enjoyed reading on the balcony decks and just relaxing before and after our day trips. The owners were helpful before and during our stay. We couldn't get the pool key to work, and they came immediately and solved the problem. This is a corner condo on the third floor, airy and quiet. The resort is obviously geared toward ski season, so if you want action and night life, this is not the place for you, but for quiet relaxation, it is perfect.

                                            Slow, deserted section of shanty creek during summer

                                            The property was far away and pretty deserted this summer when we were there. The front desk was unmanned -, lights were off, but pool and hot tub area were open- dirty towels on the floor everywhere. The property itself was fine!! Older but well maintained. Kitchen tools were good except for cutting boards. Kids room was great - bunk bed and a double bed on bottom so plenty of room to sleep. We mostly cooked so kitchen was great, but the one time we ate out, we may as well have just thrown $50 out the car windows. Christmas decor was up inside as well as outdoors on doors. This place is definitely geared towards winter season. Reasonable prices - would stay here again if we were up in northern Michigan.

                                            The poor condition of the pool will be reported immediately.

                                            Your dining out experience sounds disappointing, but I hope it doesn't reflect badly on our property. There are incredible dining out options near by. We love the area all seasons, especially the busy ski season and peaceful golf season.

                                            Please know that we do everything we can to make sure our guests have a wonderful stay in a clean, comfortable 1200 square foot spacious vacation condo that sleeps 8 people with 2 full baths, a whirl pool tub, full kitchen, 4 balconies, a natural fireplace, incredible views and privacy for the same or less money they would pay for a two double bed hotel room near by.

                                            I hope you weren't disappointed in anything else that we can change.

                                            Close enough to drive to all the lake attractions. Walking distance to one indoor pool. Short drive toi the other and the outdoor pool.
