I am happy to help with anything needed. My family lives a few blocks away so I can be available by phone and can be there shortly if needed.
The Overlook is named for the nearby bluffs that look down onto the city center and the Willamette River, offering great sunsets and activity areas (lots of dogs, running and biking). There's a strong core of restaurants, bars, grocery stores and coffee.
Excellent public-transport options, with bus and MAX (light rail) lines (including airport access) both within a brief walk. The Pearl District and downtown are within 10 minutes, either by bike or car. Walk to the Mississippi District where there is an excellent selection of local restaurants, bars, boutiques, groceries and coffee shops.
Public Transportation: Our home is located in North Portland, one block southeast from the MAX Yellow Line train (North Killingsworth Station) and the #72 Bus line.
Bicycle: North Williams/Vancouver Avenues is the main biking artery through this part of town. This couplet runs North/South and crosses both North Alberta and North Killingsworth streets that lead to our home. We are located approx. 1 mile West of this road.
Driving: Our home is only a few blocks from Interstate-5 - Alberta Street/Swan Island exit if you/re heading South, or the Killingsworth exit heading North.

John is a small business owner of an international website that helps to teach English. He got the idea while living in Japan and seeing the need for a website to teach pop culture English. He is an avid camper, hiker and outdoor lover!
Living in Portland is amazing we are 1hr from the coast and 1hr to the mountains. We do a ton of hiking, camping, and eating amazing food.

This home is amazing. It has an open floor plan, high ceilings, and lots of light which makes for a perfect home. We are 5 mins to downtown, a 5 min walk to the light rail, 10 min walk to Mississippi (tons of restaurants and shops). Our block is street lined and quite.
We love Overlook. The most connected spot in NoPo, our neighborhood is quiet but within a few blocks are restaurants, shopping, movies, parks, transportation, anything and everything you need.
We had at great time in Portland. The rental was in a great location. We didn't have a car, and were able to easily walk to the Mississippi district and Ubered or took the train elsewhere. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed.
We loved our stay at your property. We were very comfortable and the neighborhood and location were great. Looking forward to our next visit to Portland!
This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom was a perfect house for my weekend stay in Portland. The house feels open and has lots of natural light. The master bedroom is spacious with lovely built ins. The morning light does come in this room. I thought the bathroom would be small, but it was large with a great shower. The chalkboard wall is a nice touch, the board is decorated from other renters. It is cute. My one recommendation would be a few stepping stones on the grass between the driveway and the house. I would definitely rent from this home again and suggest it to my friends and family. Was a nice little house in the heart of North Portland. I will try and stay next time I am in town. Everything you need to see Portland.
If you're looking for a nice home, I suspect this is a nice place to stay. My husband and I enjoyed the wonderful communication and support provided by Stephani. The house is nicely filled with needed supplies for your stay. We found that a car was necessary, especially with the rainy days in Portland. In addition, there wasn't much in the vicinity for shopping, so going further out was not optional as we originally hoped. A fireplace (even if non-stationary) would add an additional element of coziness to the home, as well as an upgrade in cable system---especially when "rained in". The chalkboard on the kitchen wall is a great idea if art is displayed, however as it stands, there are just random comments from other families who have stayed in the past. Lastly, please use caution when returning to the Master bed, as running into the bedrail is truly painful...would suggest a change for safety purposes.

Overall, nice home...we enjoyed our stay
A very charming, comfy, clean and quiet house located just two blocks from our son and daughter-in-law. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance and the MAX Light Rail stop is so close. Cooking was easy as the kitchen is well equipped. The back bedroom was surprisingly spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Our son recently married and it was perfect for hosting a small gathering to meet his wife's family. Having off street parking was a nice bonus. The grounds were very well maintained, and there is a cute little backyard with chairs and a table for outside dining. My husband was on a working vacation and the Wi-Fi functioned perfectly. Stephani was a sweetheart and great to deal with. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again!
