I spent the first half of my life in big cities, getting an education, and exploring corporate life. Once I got a taste of the country, I never looked back.
I lived in Maine for 25 years and have lived in New Mexico for 8 years.
I'm a performing songwriter and healing arts practitioner.
I have composed 4 CDs. My music is lyric-driven. I select the style that best suits the lyric, so songs could be folk, pop, jazz, blues, rock or country.
My favorite way to work with people is to combine astrology (the quickest way I know to understand who you are, whether or not you believe in it) with a healing modality I created called Heart Lightning. This quickly removes emotional and mental blocks, usually in one session. I use the final third of our session to do a shamanic healing, which invokes the powers of nature to remove what no longer serves you and replace it with what feels better. I am now integrating my own music with my healing work with a meditative CD of original prosperity chants.
I live with a couple of rescue dogs who are a constant source of entertainment. As a result, I don't watch TV.
I'm an interfaith minister and have married people in this home.

I moved to Silver City for the temperate dry climate and the artistic community. Since then I've fallen in love with the land that affords mountain views and wildlife.
Rooms are comfortably furnished. The front porch has a swinging bench, rocking chair and Mexican- tiled table. The downstairs bedroom opens out onto the front porch. It contains a queen sized bed, a Mexican mirror and Mexican rug, and desk. The upstairs bedrooms each have twin beds. The larger upstairs bedroom has a deck that affords a panoramic view of the area.
From your bedroom window, you can see deer, rabbits, hummingbirds, and squirrels. You can hike directly from the house or drive a short distance to the Continental Divide trail and many other places to hike. You can walk forever and not see a soul, or drive ten minutes into town and connect with the local community at the local coffee shops and art galleries.
we very much enjoyed the room and the setting.
Stayed overnight. Lovely peaceful area.
We had access to a nicely equipped kitchen and living room.
The Gila cliff dwellings are the main attraction, a spectacular drive away. On the same drive, you can check out the Gila hot springs and the Gila River that still runs wild here, despite efforts to divert it. The City of Rocks state park has some beautiful and unique formations. The Silver City museum will give you an idea of the town's history, in which Billy the Kid figures prominently.
