Our modern villa is professionally decorated and furnished to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable vacation, with a lavish home theatre (110' screen, PlayStation 4), gaming media chairs, stepped recline seating and flat panel television's in every room this is truly a home away from home. With nearly 3800 sq.ft. of living space this home has a corner for every need, be it gaming, gathering, movie nights or just relaxing in our fully south facing extended pool & spa. The home also backs out to a community wall for added privacy. South facing pool means you are guaranteed to have sunshine on your pool throughout the day. You do have options to chill out or cool down in a fully extended lanai or bask in sunshine on one of our chaise lounge pool chairs.

Your stay at the villa also includes full and unlimited access to perhaps the best amenities in the area at our Oasis, a 20000 sqft. club house with fully equipped gym, business center, gold class theater, lazy river, kids splash zone, child care center, volley ball courts, swimming pools, water slides and much more.

Excellent, peaceful and amazing space

We were able to get a last minute booking at this fantastic property and I just can’t say how pleased we were with this home. The house is huge and every room is so spacious and well designed it was just perfect. The property manager, Mat was able to guide us with every question we had during our stay. It’s a big house so this was very helpful, especially getting the electronics going. I loved the way the owner has kept the modern clean feel of the home in a world of harry potter, frozen and zootopia. The location can’t be beat either. It’s a really quiet neighborhood but sooo sooo close to everything! We were able to go to Universal, beaches, Disney parks and even walk to some fantastic restaurants in Champions Gate. We were 3 families traveling with kids and there was a thing for everyone. Air hockey, ping pong and darts and pool table were active treats for older and younger ones alike. We also enjoyed the lazy river, cabana by the pool (Yeh Marcos!) and volley ball. We will definitely be back.

We could not ask for More!

I was hoping to find a special place for a family gathering last year and started my search on Homeaway. As soon as I saw this listing in Champions Gate, I looked no further. The house exceeded my expectations and was even more beautiful in person then in the pictures shown. The house was in a perfect location, was beautifully decorated, and included everything we needed to accommodate for our group of 3 families, 17 people. I loved it there and felt as though I had stopped the world to get off for a few days in heaven! The owner Raj and the property manager Mat were eager to help for everything from kids car seats, grill accessories and getting our pool heated when we needed it. Overall a great experience, just could not ask for more. With late night visits to the Disney parks, we could even find time to lazy in the river and watch "The Little Mermaid" movie at the Oasis.

I plan to go back with my family next year and can't imagine staying anywhere but at Champions Gate!

BIG beautiful house. Small issues. Far away from major attractions.

This is a BIG house. We were 9 adults and 7 teenagers and we all had a great time. Specially the kids with all the fun stuff for them to do in the house. All the rooms were big and the beds were really comfortable. The kitchen and living room were nice and was in a really good neighborhood with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. The clubhouse was really good with great food and atmosphere. Everything was in order. We had 4 parking spaces that was good to have.

We had some small issues. Specially the A/C should be better in this big house. Talked to Raj about this and I think they will install extra A/C where there is really a problem. Specially in the Cinema room and the garage that is a play room. We had to have on the roof fan on the bedrooms in the night because it was too hot. That helped, but it was a bit noisy. We rented a grill that was too small that we didn't use it. Think they will change grill provider.

The only thing that made this a 4 star instead of 5 is that it is a bit away from "the real action". They say it is 15-20 minutes away from Disney and other places. That may be true, but only in night when there is no cars on the road. Because it never took less then 30 minutes each way. More normally it took 40 minutes and sometimes over an hour (one way!). We were after a while getting good at checking the traffic on google maps to avoid the long queues and get alternative routes, but 15-20 minutes it never was. Because of this I can't recommend Champions Gate to other people coming to Orlando that have never been here before and want to be where all the famous stuff is. Specially in the high tourist season with lots of traffic.

We truly appreciate your wonderful feedback on the air conditioning system, and it does feel warmer during summer, we are getting HVAC specialists to test the air flow in the home and will suitably add/open the ducts in the home to seek closure to this problem. With 2 high capacity air conditioners and dual climate zone controls one on each floor there is more than adequate capacity to keep the home cool. We will be looking to add more insulation and air conditioning in our garage/game room this year. Pleased to say, we added our own brand new stainless steel grill this weekend with more than 500 sq.ft of cooking space. As you noted, the real commute time is 15-20 minutes from the parks when there is no traffic, but with traffic is hard to predict. That said, we totally share your frustration on traffic congestion on your trips to Disney parks during summer, but that doesn't change much even if you stay closer. Closer to Disney also means more crowded and perhaps less green space. We believe champions gate is well located from the parks with some of the best amenities in Disney area, including 36 holes of golf among many other things. We enjoyed ourselves

First of all, I was very pleased with how quickly the owner responded to email. A+++. We loved the amenities at the club house. Home was nice. Good location. Really appreciated that trash was picked up regularly (very important for large group). No real complaints, but I would highly recommend owner consider purchasing three twelve count muffin tins (to replace the one six count) and at least two more pizza pans (to add to the existing one)... found these items to be insufficient for a house this size. Otherwise, good experience.

Vacation stay 6/10/16 - 6/14/16

PROS: Raj, the owner, was very quick to respond to my inquiries. He provided information that we needed for our stay, well ahead of time. He has a beautiful and spacious house that accommodated my family.

CONS: The maintenance of the home could have been better. I'm assuming that the property manager should inspect the home upon departure and prior to arrival. Two of the bathrooms had dirty towels with hair on them and a broken pair of sunglasses was found on the floor in one of the bedrooms. The sofa in the living room was stained and the padded lanai furniture was stained and dirty. The vertical blinds for the back sliding door, which provided access to the lanai and pool from the dining room was very hard to open and did not close properly. This was a problem because the only other access point from the house to the lanai and pool was through a bedroom. The property manager was notified about this problem and he/she left a note on the front door stating that they rang the doorbell and got no response. Although, the driveway had two cars there because we were in the pool in the back of the house and no attempt was made on my cell phone. The glass top stove was damaged and the barbecue grill that we rented was dirty. The garbage bench in front of the entry to the house was highly unpleasant to use. It reeked of old smelly garbage and the plastic liner needed to be replaced. The smell was so offensive that I had to hold my breath to put garbage in there. One family member tried to deodorize it because the odor was that bad.

We made the best of it because we were there to have a good time. The morning after we checked out, I received an email from the property damage insurance company, that a claim was filed for damages to a pullout drawer in one of the bedrooms. This was very surprising to me, since we lived in and out of our suitcases for that short stay. These "damages" were noted as a liquid stain in the drawer that could not be repaired and required a replacement of the drawer. I found this a bit suspicious, since we never used those drawers. The damages were taken care of by the insurance company and I did not incur any additional out of pocket expense. It's rather amazing to me that the property manager could find a "stain" in a bedroom drawer, but couldn't see and address the obvious issues mentioned above. Lastly, I would never rent property with this property manager (Tara/Mat) again.

Also, thank you for such a thoughtful review thus prompting our detailed introspection of home and our management team. While i can assure you that our homes are well inspected to every detail prior to arrival and after departure of every guest, i truly apologize for any inconvenience whatsoever you had during your stay with us. We are making changes to our sanitizing process with immediate effect and will be looking to do more periodic replacement of towels in the home. As i mentioned during your stay, the vertical blinds should be tilt opened before they can be slid open for smooth operation. We will also be looking to deep clean all sofa covers and replace the dull ones as soon as possible. Please understand that we respect the privacy of our guests in the home and there being cars on the driveway doesn't always mean you are in the home. I can also assure you that Barbecue grills are removed for cleanup at every checkout and a clean grill is placed prior to check-in. This is totally done by an external dedicated company/team that rents these grills. Our community is relatively new, ultra clean and one of the few communities in Orlando that has daily trash pick up service, this includes liner replacement and inspection. It is the first time we have heard an issue with regards to our innovative waste management approach, we will raise this issue with appropriate HOA channels, however this feedback if true will impact our entire community of champions gate. As noted, we do inspect the home before and after with utmost honesty and integrity, and absolutely never hold anything against our guests. To be fair, when incidents happen and we find issues, we share the images of damage with our guests and ask for response within a day after check out. We raise a claim with the insurance company only after. We will absolutely stay true to this process going forward. This is precisely the reason we ask all our guests to purchase property damage insurance ($79) to cover for these subtle, stray issues should they arise. We're glad it helped. Any circumstantial evidence we provide may sometimes appear to be staged or unfair, but you must trust us that we work for you. I can speak for the small family-owned management company of Mat and Tara. We not just manage our beautiful home, but also offer our time and passion to offer the best of the service to all our guests. Sincerely, Raj Tata.
