Very clean and tastefully decorated. Had everything we needed for our stay. Living room area a lot smaller then we thought. Seating for four was not that comfortable for socializing and watching TV. We did enjoy our stay.
This quaint cottage was in a perfect location.
We walked downtown every day . Parking is provided which is great. Also we used uber a lot and they easily picked us up here.
The place was clean and well stocked and had a nice back yard and front porch.
It is tucked away on an alley but easy to find
The home has a great front porch with rockers and vining flowers, a great place for watching the full moon while we were there! It is fully remodeled and had everything we needed in the home. We were planning to hit the store to buy some basics, but surprisingly everything was there. The house faces an alley so it is quiet with limited traffic and only three blocks to the middle of State St. where we found everything. We only moved the car to go out to the harbor one evening. It is very easy to walk to everything.
It rained the whole time we were in Santa Barbara and I'm still giving this review 5 stars! The cottage is up to date and has everything you need. It's a short walk to fantastic restaurants and shopping. If you don't stop in for pizza at Olio Pizzeria right down the street you're doing yourself a disservice! The neighborhood was quiet and clean and it's very easy to get around town by foot, free shuttle or car.
I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a Santa Barbara getaway.
As well as having great charm, this property is beautifully maintained and decorated as well as being equipped to a very high standard. The owners have obviously considered carefully what would be wanted by anyone staying and have provided it. We loved everything about the place with the added bonus of the garden area and the porch , the porch being a novelty for us Brits.
The location was ideal. Quiet during the day and evenings yet only 10 minutes walk from State Street for all the shops, bars and restaurants. The "House Book" provided a number of recommendations that were excellent although a book in which guests could provide their experiences would have been good. The property provided beach chairs for use on the beaches that were no more than 5 minutes in the car with easy parking and easy access , although four chairs not three would have been better.
We would have no hesitation in recommending both this property and the Letting Agents who supplied it as well as Santa Barbara itself. In all this was an idyllic week and the only downside was that it was not a longer stay. We fully intend returning to the town and if possible to this property some time in the future
the house is clean location is just off the streets so is quiet close to everything. kitchen was actually a working kitchen in that it was stocked so you could cook if wanted ( we mainly did breakfast). wouldn't have to think twice about coming back. our daughter goes to school here so would sight see by day and visit by night
