Master suite has a King bed and the additional 2 bedrooms are outfitted with Queens.
About Port Charlotte: Port Charlotte is located on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast, between Sarasota and Naples, about 100 miles south of Tampa. Port Charlotte is still a fairly new community created and developed in the late 1950's. The Population of the unicorporated area of Charlotte County, including Port Charlotte is approximately 139,000 residents. An established, but yet still growing area, Port Charlotte has the services and amenities necessary for the convenience and enjoyment of all.
Residential areas of the County are primarily single-family neighborhoods. You will not find high-density high rises or typical city sprawl. We're close to everything...: Neighboring Punta Gorda is a charming and historic waterfront town which traces back to a landing Hernado DeSoto in 1539. The name itself means “Broad Point”. Every year a festival celebrates Ponce De Leon’s Landing (1513) on Pine Island in Charlotte Harbor. Punta Gorda is now more than 120 years old, and is Charlotte County’s only incorporated city.
Use our location as a base and visit all the attractions of Florida. Disney is 2 1/2 hours away and many people visit there and just come back to Port Charlotte to relax and renew!
Really enjoyed the place. GREAT LOCATION!!! All stores, shopping, boat ramp very close. Easiest access to the bay of anywhere we've stayed in the past. Just wished the lift worked. Will definitely have this bookmarked for my next visit to the area.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at this home. It was spacious, clean and had a beautiful pool and lanai. We spent most evenings out there and it was so peaceful. In the mornings, I rode the bikes that were provided to the park across the street to take in the beauty of the harbor. We also rented a boat from Goodtimes Boat Rental on El Jobean and I highly recommend them. Great prices and the nicest people. We were able to tie up at the dock outside the house with no problems. Just make sure you leave your lines loose - the water drops quickly! Most importantly, the owner of this home was fantastic to deal with and gave us so much information before we arrived. We had a great vacation!
Had the most amazing time. We walked in to everything being ready. The house was surprisingly well equipped with everything from spices and toilet paper to floaters and bikes. It was really nice to not have to buy everything we needed for the week.
Great area around. Nice & safe neighborhood. There is an easy walk to the beach and pier. All restaurants & night entertainment are only 10-15 minutes away. Another bonus is that the house is located in no tolls area, so you don't need the toll pass option on the rental car.
Main point is the heated pool. It is big, nice and clean. We had some problems with pool temperature regulator in the beginning. The heating switch is located outside of house. There are two bikes in garage and sidewalk/bike trails for miles along local roads. We rented kayaks right on beach to explorer all nearby area.
I can recommend Publix on Tamiami Trail & Edgewater Drive – fresh salads & bakery; huge variation of imported cold cuts for daily snacks.
Easy transition with the payment, no extra hidden charges. Quick response on any problem calls. Over all that was great vacation. We would definitely rent this house again!
My family and I stayed at this home over spring break. We all really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning in the future. The homeowner was very easy to work with and the home is a great value for the size. We spent most of our time by the pool. The outer area is fantastic with a great eating area and a large space for laying in the sun. The pool was large and comfortable with a great water feature as well as a hot tub. The area around the home is great for walking, grocery shopping and eating out. We spent one day on a boat which was rented a short distance from the house. We travel with our dog, and it was a very dog friendly home. While we really weren't inside the home much, it too was great, large and clean. Again, we recommend this home to anyone interested in a fun and restful trip to this area of Florida, we will definitely return.
This home is beautiful! Perfect location, right across from the beach. nice quiet neighborhood. I didn't fully read the contract, oops, but you definitely have to bring your own toliet paper and dish soap. Unusual for short term rentals, but it was in the contract, so my fault when we arrived and i headed straight for a bathroom unprepared :-) quick trip to the store fixed that! Shopping was so close by. I would recommend this location. we were in town for a funeral and the peaceful surroundings and private pool area helped in finding serenity.
