Breathtaking Oceanfront location! Located directly oceanfront at Banyan's surf break. A tropical hidden gem~ so quiet, so peaceful. No crowds ever found here! Tucked away in a quiet area, away from all life's craziness.

Banyan Tree 301 is a tropical dream Hawaiian Bucket List Destination. A Hawaiian oceanfront paradise, completely remodeled with breathtaking ocean views! Your flip flops are guaranteed to be knocked right off from the moment you open the front door! The ocean view is breathtaking! And you are so close to the ocean! The sunsets are amazing; you will be able to see turtles, dolphins, whales, tropical fish, and surfers all from this little slice of heaven. You can hear and see the ocean waves, they will lull you to sleep in your oceanfront Master Bedroom king size pillow top mattress every night. You have an ocean view from almost every room, all except the bathrooms.

Everything, and I mean everything, is new in this Kona vacation rental. For the aspiring chefs, there's a brand new kitchen here! We even made the kitchen a little wider to allow more space for the chef. ( And so that you can completely open the dishwasher) We moved the small water heater out of the kitchen (making more storage in kitchen! ) and moved it to the back of the condo and added a larger water heater - so no running out of hot water here! Sleep like a baby on the new pillow top King Size Bed in Master Bedroom. (There are sliding doors that close for extra privacy, separating the master bedroom from living area. They recess into the wall when opened) There are two twin pillow top beds in guest bedroom. Upon request, we will happily push together the two twins to create a king size bed. We also have a portable crib and a high chair for all our little VIP guests. Gorgeous, original Hawaiian artwork throughout condo, three large- flat screen TV's in the living room and in both bedrooms. There is a large capacity washer/dryer in the unit, no trips to the laundromat needed. The lanai is one of the largest at Banyan Tree and there are two bar height tables with five bar height captains chairs. (No looking through bars here to see that beautiful ocean view! ) The whole family can eat outside together and watch the surfers, sunsets, turtles, tropical fish, and whales in season.

Banyan Tree is a smaller complex of only 20 condos, so it never seems crowded. No getting up early here to run down to the oceanfront pool to place a towel on your chair to reserve your seat for the day! The oceanfront salt water pool is solar heated and has one of the best views in all of the Big Island! After a long day of sightseeing, enjoy a soak in the oceanfront hot tub and watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. There are grills and an outdoor shower located adjacent to the pool area. There is an elevator that services the building and BT 301 has its own reserved parking space in the covered garage. (Easy in, easy out!)

There is FREE long distance to mainland USA and to Canada and FREE password protected WiFi. We have over 200 channels including several Premium movie channels. There is a Xbox-360 with one controller, just bring your favorite games. We provide boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrella, coolers, beach towels, and even sand toys for your outings to all of those beautiful Big Island beaches.

Banyan Tree 301 is a perfect honeymoon destination. Also spacious enough for two couples traveling together or families (with kids). If you are attending a Big Island convention, 301 is located approximately two miles from either Kailua-Kona or the Keauhou area.

Aloha! We are Michael and Candace Spinali from Tucson, Arizona. (We recently relocated from sunny San Diego) Michael is a native from San Diego and Candace grew up in Michigan. We enjoy our little slice of paradise at Banyan Tree and we are very active as owners of a vacation rental. We have been married for 28 years and we have two sons. Our oldest son is Michael and he is enrolled in graduate school at SDSU for Electrical/Computer Engineer Major. Our youngest son Cole attends The Wildcat Academy of Engineering at The University of Arizona. (Thus the reason we live in Tucson and left San Diego) We feel very blessed to own our vacation home and to be able to share it with families from around the world!

Why did we purchase this Kona Oceanfront vacation home? That is an easy question to answer ~ THE VIEW! We also own another condo at Banyan Tree, #204 since 2007. We chose the Big Island Oceanfront because the water clarity for snorkeling/scuba diving is incredible, so many amazing restaurants, we love the people who live there, the convenient location of Banyan Tree, and we especially love NO CROWDS! Someday in the next few years, Michael and Candace hope to reside on The Big Island! It is truly a special place that we hold near and dear to our hearts. We have so many happy family memories of bringing our two sons here since they were just little guys running around in diapers. We hope that the memories you create on the Big Island are as special as they are for us!

What makes this condo unique

Why did we fall in love with our Kona oceanfront condo? Easy to answer, THE VIEW! Once you see the view, you will understand why. It is breathtaking! From the time you open the front door, you will walk into a brand new condo with one of the best ocean views you have ever seen! We have a 'must have list' ~ the master bedroom must have have an ocean view as well as a king bed (Michael is very tall). We like large, open spaces that allow our family to be together comfortably. ( Seating for everyone ) The pool has to be oceanfront and have a view. With Banyan 301, you get all that and more.

A Slice of Paradise on the Kona Coast

The description does not do this condo justice. Everything about the unit is top notch. The furnishings are new and beautiful. It truly looks like a model home. The cleaning staff does a superb job, as the unit was spotless after they were finished. This unit is truly "ocean front". Many claim to be, but this one delivers! One of our favorite features was the master bedroom, which is on the ocean side of the unit. Hearing the waves gently crash against the lava rock below lulled us to sleep each and every night.

Candace is a jewel to work with. Every inquiry was answered promptly and courteously. She is on top of everything, from reservation to returning of your security deposit.

Great location, just a few miles south of Kona Town. Great underground parking. A small store across the street suitable for filling the need for a snack or refreshments. You can not go wrong at Banyan Tree #301 and Candace.

Oceanfront, well appointed condo

We enjoyed the incredible view from the balcony of this unit. Watching the surfers, enjoying the sunsets, and listening to the sound of the ocean. The condo is well equipped, including very comfortable beds with nice linens.

Everything you need from beach chairs to coolers is included. Looking forward to returning for future visits. Candace was a great host!

A wonderful respite

We join all the others who have posted their five star reviews. The condo was set-up with everything one would need in their home away from home. The views of the surfers were a daily treat and after full days of exploring, we came home to watch the sunset every night from the lanai. Having a full kitchen to cook in saved us a lot of money that we would have spent had we been in a motel room. We'll never rent a motel room for our family vacations again and plan to return to this wonderful home in the future. We returned home after ten days feeling refreshed and renewed.

I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed your family stay at Banyan Tree and that you enjoyed the kitchen. When we purchased our condo, the kitchen was so small that you couldn't open the dishwasher and walk around the open door as the dishwasher door was hitting the cabinets on the other side. When we remodeled our condo, we bumped out the kitchen making it larger so that you could open the dishwasher and actually walk around the dishwasher when it was open. I love to cook so I stocked the kitchen with everything that I could think of. I love to hear that you cooked several meals and that you enjoyed eating Hawaiian style on the lanai. Perfect place in paradise

This condo was perfect for our family! Candace had everything we needed in place and was a pleasure to work with. The condo came complete with beach chairs, sun umbrella, coolers, etc. We only needed to have our swimsuits and sunscreen! The complex is small and quiet which is perfect after an exhausting day at the beach or at the volcano. The view is spectacular, and watching the surfers in the morning and evening from the lanai is mesmerizing! We are so glad we were able to find this gem--thanks Candace for being such a thoughtful and gracious hostess!

Located directly oceanfront in a neighborhood south of downtown Kona; the surrounding area is peaceful, and lush. Amazing sounds of the ocean waves rolling in the Kona Coast shoreline and the views up toward the mauka hills covered with coffee bushes! This is the perfect Kona oceanfront location close to downtown Kona, as well as the Keauhou shopping center, with all of the fantastic restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, but also several grocery stores, WalMart and even a Costco close by. You are directly oceanfront, with nothing between you and the blue Pacific ocean. Unobstructed, panoramic ocean views.The Banyan Tree is centrally located on the sunny side of the Big Island in the town of Kailua-Kona. Right next door is a small sandy beach where the local surfers enter the water to access the famed Banyan surf site to surf and boogie board.

Historic Alii Drive is right out front and great for an walk along the ocean. Magic Sands beach is less than a mile away. Kahalu'u Beach is only two miles and is an easy to access snorkeling spot where you can see beautiful reefs and abundant sea life. It is also a friendly place to learn to surf. Perfect beaches such as Hapuna Beach and Kua Bay are to the north and Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park and Captain Cooks monument lie to the south. Also to the south is Two Step Beach, which is located just north of Pu’u Honua O Honaunau National Historic Park, which is a perfect snorkeling spot to explore the crystal clear waters of Kona’s coast. The famous Da Poke Shack is within a block and within a few miles there are tasty restaurants including including Jackie Reys, Splashers Grill, Island Lava Java, TJ's Barbecue and the Fish Hopper. Suoer J's which has been visited by Guy Fieri is just don the road. KTA Supermarket is only a few miles south on Alii Drive in Keauhou. Snorkel Bob's, an easy place to rent your snorkel gear, is also blocks away.

Some of the best surfers are surfing right in front of The Banyan Tree Complex. There is a small convenience store across the street. The ocean has amazing clarity in Kona and the snorkeling is spectacular. You can snorkel in front of the condo or go to a protected reef/cove if the waves are too large located 1.5 south of the condo. It is the Kahaluu Beach Park and it is a black sand beach with amazing snorkeling. If peace, quiet, beautiful views are what you desire for your stay on The Big Island, look no further, you have found your vacation home in paradise!
