On a quiet tree-lined street, within walking distance of some of San Francisco's best restaurants, the garden studio is located at the rear of a 3-unit Marina style owner occupied home. A separate entrance ensures privacy. Hardwood floors throughout and furnished to ensure comfort.
The studio is in a perfect location to explore many of San Francisco's vibrant neighborhoods. As a result of the diversity and weather, the Dolores Heights, Noe Valley and Mission neighborhoods have become some of the most desirable areas in the City. The increasingly popular Valencia Corridor is just a few blocks away and is home to a number of excellent restaurants. Muni and Bart are within 2 and 4 blocks of the studio making it easy for guests to get to San Francisco's Downtown/Golden Gate Park and The Embarcadero.
If you're looking for temporary housing in San Francisco, stop the search right now and book this Garden Studio - otherwise you might not get the chance to stay here! I was new to the city and Veronica's lovely studio helped me live like a local from the moment I stepped into the calm oasis. Veronica is so kind and she'll go out of her way to make you feel at home and show you parts of the city that only the real locals know about.
The studio is very spacious (it's bigger than you think it is from looking at the photos!) and has all the amenities that you need to live comfortably. Two large windows in the bedroom bring in a ton of natural light and you get a beautiful view of the garden that Veronica graciously cares for. The studio also has a full kitchen and all of the amenities that you'll need to make yourself comfy. Oh and the Queen Sized Bed is so comfortable that it makes getting out of bed every morning a way more difficult task.
Location wise it couldn't be more convenient -- you've got Dolores Park as a 2 min walk away, and the Muni/Bart will take you downtown in 15 minutes. If you like good food of all types of cuisines, then you'll like the Mission District. A 3 min walk will take you to Valencia Street with local artisans and restaurants, and amazing Mexican food is around every corner.
It's too bad I can't stay here for the long term, but I'll definitely be recommending Veronica's studio to anyone I know that is staying in SF!
This has to be the perfect spot. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were not only in a stunning space in a vibrant neighborhood but like we arrived at a home away from home. This was in part because we were welcomed so warmly by the owner of this gem. The studio is spacious and equipped with everything you need to feel like you are grounded in the most fascinating city on the planet, San Francisco. A delightful home base. I have lived in SF two different times in the past but never had the chance to live in the Mission. Our stay allowed me to fall in love with this ever eclectic neighborhood. Just walk out of the studio, make a right, make a left, stroll on Valencia, head to Dolores Park, ride a bike or hop public transportation and you are at your destination in no time. Again, the perfect spot. My girlfriend and I spent the month of August and our host could not have been a better. In the end, she became a friend. Anyone looking to spend a month in this city will find no better place than this.
You cannot go wrong, when opting for this garden studio. I will start with Veronica, the warm and welcoming hostess of this little paradise. She has thought about everything we need to be "at home".
As for the studio itself, there are no words to describe it. It is perfect. Comfortable and spacious, bright and sunny overlooking a small garden in bloom with roses, 2 lemon trees and even a small former with vegetables. There is a separate kitchen with all the necessities for cooking and you can also enjoy eating in the garden. The shower is wonderful with a power water jet !
The studio is well located in a neighborhood that is very pleasant, quiet and secure between Mission and the Noe valley near Valencia and Dolores street. Around the area, you can find a lot of coffee shops bakeries, restaurants…
In a word, do not hesitate, you will receive the best welcome and have one thought "to return"
We loved the place, very neat, clean and comfortable, great location, Veronica was a great hostess, we will definitely go back there again, so close to Burt/Muni and area has the unique San Francisco feel. from the first minute of stay we loved it. we loved the neighborhood, very nice area to stay. Ample of coffee shops bakeries around the area, our favorite: Tartrine's bakery. Studio overlooks garden filled with sun and beautiful plants/flowers. we are able to have lemons right form the tree that growth in Veronica's garden. Pretty unique experience. Studio is quiet at night and bed is very very comfortable.
Great studio - windows look out onto a beautiful garden, wonderfully comfortable bed, great kitchen to cook in. The studio is very clean, welcoming, and an easy place to work in. I stayed here while working on a research project in the area - times spent working here were peaceful and lovely (with great wifi connection). The location is well-located for public transportation - can pick between MUNI and BART to get to appointments around town. I ended up walking quite a bit because the area is filled with great local eateries, galleries and shops. Veronica is the best - thoughtful, organized and extremely helpful - you'll feel at home quickly and won't want to leave. This will be the first place I'll turn to for return visits.
When you start to plan a vacation the last thing you want to stress over is "Did I pick a good place?", at least for me. We could not have been happier with our experience in this studio. We felt welcomed and safe, appreciated and respected. You can enjoy great local restaurants, beautiful Dolores park, tons of cafe's, grocery and boutique shopping.....all within quick blocks from this hide away. While at the studio, it's neighborhood is quiet enough to completely relax or enjoy the well kept garden, yet close enough to all the things that make San Francisco the amazing place it is. Now when you take that and add the people you get to interact with at this studio, well my friends....you've just hit the jackpot.
Veronica was so kind and helpful! We hope to return next year.
A special thank you to her neighbors who made our stay adventurous. He made us laugh and showed us a great breakfast spot. We learned some really wonderful things!

Lolo's. Flore. Rigalito. Delfinos pizza.
2 Blocks from J-Church and 4 Blocks from Bart.
