Beautifully renovated and furnished Apartment, two blocks from the Eastern Prom

3 bedroom, 2 bathroom (just added second bath upstairs) townhouse with a small deck and parking, if needed. This apartment is the front half of a 4000 sf two-family home on a beautiful and quiet East End street. The first floor has two entries, front and back. The back entry is off of a small deck with a gas grill and table with two chairs. The fully stocked kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. There is only one bathroom for this home, but it is very large and also newly renovated. There is a front loading washer and dryer. The first floor kitchen and dining room are open and full of sun light. The living room is comfortable and conjoins the dining room to the front entry and stairwell. There is a small room which can serve as an office or single bedroom on the first floor. The upper level has the two remaining bedrooms, both with queen beds.

This is a beautiful, tree lined street with little traffic as it is one way and only two blocks long. Walk two blocks to the Eastern Promenade and all the features of a water front city park, beach and boat launch. There are restaurants within two blocks and a small market that sells fresh local produce, meats, baked goods and has an outstanding craft beer and wine selection. The city is very friendly and accommodating to walking or driving. Prompt cab service makes having a vehicle optional. The city is close to the mountains and lakes, and is brimming with small boutique shops and art galleries.

Great house, great location

I stayed here for 5 weeks and the house had everything I needed. It is in a great location on a quiet street, only a couple of blocks away from the Eastern promenade and is walkable to downtown. The kitchen is well equipped with everything I needed. Everywhere was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Great property, amazing location, warm hostess!

We loved this apartment. The location was absolutely killer. Two blocks from East End beach with a massive playground, tennis courts, baseball diamond, beach, promenade trail to downtown. With two small kids, we couldn't have been more thrilled to be near one of our favorite Portland parks. Awesome neighborhood for walking -- we walked to downtown, walked for coffee every morning. Front Room restaurant is at the end of the block and is fantastic!

Apartment was very clean, recently renovated, as described in the listing, and had what we needed.

Shannon was very warm and friendly. Her kids were charming and very sweet to our two boys -- even invited them into their backyard to play.

BOOM! Amazing property and wonderful property owners.

First and foremost, read the previous reviews as they are spot on. Time is precious so I won't restate what has already been said. In the era of Home Away and the like we are all looking for an experience above and beyond a hotel. So it's that je ne sais quoi that makes the difference. Shannon has nailed it! From the decor, to the amenities to the pleasant conversation we shared with Shannon and her husband Galen, I cannot recommend this apartment enough.

Didn't want to leave!

We had a wonderful stay! This is a special house on a special street -- the location was perfect, being a couple of blocks from commercial/restaurants and a couple of blocks from the park/E. Prom Beach. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed (even some unexpected toddler/baby items which was great). We are a family of five with 3 young kids, and the house fit us perfectly. My sister stayed with us for two nights, and we had room for her to stay comfortably as well. Shannon and her family were wonderful hosts. My kids are already asking when we can return!!

Beautiful Space in a Great Portland Neighborhood

The neighborhood is wonderful and close to everything you would go to Portland to see. Our hosts were gracious and friendly and made us feel at home. There are coffee shops and GREAT restaurants within a few minutes walk, and the East End Promenade was a hit with our toddler.

The house itself is nice and the kitchen is great. The one bathroom is downstairs , so it's a bit of a pain in the middle of the night, but any complaints I have are very minor. Overall this is a lovely home, in a lovely neighborhood, with lovely hosts. Triple lovely, hard to beat that.
