If you think you will enjoy this view, you'll definitely like this spacious two bedroom, two bath condo. Located in the exclusive Belmont Estate, Ocean View is one of four quiet units, each overlooking the famous Long Bay beach, just a short step away; while Smuggler's Cove and Long Bay Beach Resort, with its restaurants and amenities are both within walking distance. Other popular West End restaurants, bars and beaches are easily reached by car

Entering the living room, you have this outstanding view over Belmont Palm Grove, the Sugar Loaf and the islands of Jost van Dyke set in the brilliant blue of the Atlantic Ocean. The airy and open plan living room is an ideal space for a family or group to view the stunning sunsets and enjoy the sea breezes. These views are repeated in the master bedroom (a/c and queen bed) with en suite full bathroom. The large dining room opens to a shaded patio for al fresco dining amid colourful tropical plantings.

The second bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower only) features its own patio/garden area and has twin beds easily converted to a king bed. The efficient and well equipped kitchen will encourage you to do your own creative Caribbean cooking.

At your doorstep is a lovely freshwater pool(salt system) surrounded by a lush tropical garden overlooking Long Bay. As this is a deep-water adult pool children must be carefully supervised. Note that the only people allowed to use the pool are the other owners (when in residence) and the persons renting Ocean View. Outside guests not permitted.

The on-site manager has lived in Tortola for forty years and is available to deal with any problems and to provide helpful information on the island. Rest assured that she values her privacy as much she respects yours. We hope you will enjoy your stay on our very special island.

The apt was well equiped with the best view ever!

The apt was spacious and had everything one could ask for. It was clean and orderly. The fans were good for air flow as well as the air conditioning in the bedroom for night time. Our hostess, Heather, was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this listing.

Would highly recommend this place

Very nice 2 bedroom condo style apt. Huge views of the sunsets over the beach, and a 2 minute walk to one of the nicest beaches on Tortola.

Great pool , super quiet, beautiful flowers in the garden.

I would buy it if it was for sale.

Wonderful rental! Highly recommended!

We just returned from 2 relaxing weeks in Tortola, and enjoyed everything about our stay at 200 Belmont Drive #3. The views are exactly as shown, the pool is nicer, and the location is fabulous. The kitchen is well equipped including a new refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven. Good blender and coffee maker. Charcoal grill. Showers are excellent, as are 5 full size atrium/screen doors, and overhead fans. The warm Carribean breeze is delightful, and it is a very short walk to Long Bay Beach. Heather Cuff is a delight. Easy to work with and yet completely non intrusive. We took a non stop flight to St Thomas, and then the ferry to the West End. As easy as it gets in the BVI. Enjoy!

this is the place to stay.

I've been coming to the BVI for 20+ years. My first and second time (1994-5) I rented in Carrot Bay, but that guy's son is renting to a local now. I stayed in Cane Garden, but that was before the cruise dock. Heather Cuff's place is perfect for a family willing to deal with the need for 4WD, wants a secluded home base from which you can foray to Brewers, Cane Garden, the Baths or Jost van dyke (call about ferry times) and who knows or is willing to realize that Smugglers Cove is the best beach on the island.

Heather is really an exceptional person. We saw her little, because we were out early and back late, but we peeked down into her villa and imagined a life we would like to live. She's been living on the island for 40 years, and can tell you what you should not miss, but is also happy to let you do your own thing, especially (I think) if you are willing to allow Boogie to visit. He's the elder statesman of Tortola dogs, and might show up at dinner time, cataract'd and grey, but happy and grateful for scraps. (Sorry, Heather, but we fed him unashamedly.)

The apartment is great. There's nothing to complain about. There's creepy dayglo caterpillars below the balconies, which is a photographic plus; Bob and his wife from Connecticut are lovely-- for when you are there, you will feel like a part of a secret way of life. You might want to stay. The pool is also a secret treasure ; you'll feel pretty rich when you swim at sunset. You'll wonder how these Americans built these villas and this pool. I did.

The other bedroom is far away from the master bedroom so, you know, that's nice. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

If you stay there, and there's a strange guest book entry about Heather being a former MI5 spy and Bob as Q, well, that's us. We had fun!

A lovely apartment with the soothing sound of waves audible all night and the sights of the sea all day. The shared pool is a welcome respite after a hard day at the beach. The flat is well-appointed in a unit of 4 villas; private but not isolated. There is good beach walking and walking around the area, a few decent restaurants within walking distance, but a jeep is a must-have.

Brave New World!

After having stayed and returned from this near-paradisaical plot seated on the West End of Tortola, my only wish is to return. The owners are quiet, accommodating, and friendly. The view is lush with palm, enveloped by sky, and punctuated by ranges at sea. With some searching, you will spy the break just above Long Bay, which is a sign of the short downhill walk to the beach. Smuggler's is close, and it is a great beach with better snorkeling. Apple Bay features a steady reef-break and the ever-evolving Bomba's Shack, a sandy-bottomed bar pairing enterprise and art in motion.This has been my eighth visit to Tortola in 28 years, and I was as happy here as anywhere...perhaps happier. Stay here; you won't regret it.
