Located on a canal with quick access to Estes Flats and Redfish Bay, this 4 bedroom 3 bath home was completely remodeled in 2011/2012. The Stainless Steel kitchen is fully equipped and opens to the living room and dining room for easy entertaining.
Upstairs: The master bedroom has a king size bed and a private bathroom. The other two rooms upstairs share a bathroom and one of the rooms has a queen size bed and the other room has bunk beds. All of the above living space, dining area and 3 beds/2 baths are located upstairs.
Downstairs: The third bathroom is located downstairs. This area has another bedroom with a queen size bed plus a small living area located directly off the large outdoor covered patio. In addition, there is a bathroom with a shower. This would be a great space to put in-laws or teenagers so that they could have privacy.
Enjoy the covered patio... where you can dine or enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. Fish right off the large boat dock or jump in your boat and you're seconds away from Estes Flats. There is plenty of room in the front to park cars and a boat.
My husband and I both grew up in Victoria, TX and spent much time in Rockport and Port A growing up. We wanted to have a home that was close enough to frequent often so we chose one of our favorite spots. We spend a great deal of our time down here fishing, going to the beach and reading books. We hope you'll enjoy your stay as much as we do!
Shari Butler purchased this house in 2011
I just wanted to let you know that we have been in a lot of gulf coast condos. Some were nicer some not. This place was the best stocked that we have been in and was just great. Very clean and nice amenities. We had a great time. With my folks in and RV park down the road we will likely stay here again.
Thanks so much.
I have stayed at many vacation home rentals and have never received the kind of personalized service as I had from Shari and her assistant Shane. I received a text before we arrived with tips on fishing and fun for the family. You don't have to worry about bringing toys for your kids or any condiments or seasoning. They have the placed stocked! The place is clean, stylishly decorated with quality beds and bedding. I stayed at one B&B in Portland, the mattress was so hard that the floor was more comfortable. You can really tell they love their second home and I appreciate that they share it with others.
This is a very family friendly home! My boys loved the bunk beds and having their own TV for evening quiet time. We hope to go back again soon!
The fishing was not good, but the accommodations were very good--well maintained and clean. Preparing meals was like cooking in your own kitchen, and all other aspects were excellent. Everything about the house was top-notch, and we will choose this rental again and again. The fishing will pick up again, and it is great to have your boat parked just outside your door and handy to go out between naps and meals. We think it is the best in Palm Harbor.
Everything was wonderful: owner hospitality and accessibility by phone, location to fishing, very clean, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen... We enjoyed coffee on the deck and had beautiful sunsets! We hope to come again soon! Thank you!
This was our second stay at Brian's Fishing House. The entire setup is family friendly, clean, and updated. The hospitality and amenities made us feel like we were staying in a good friend's house. We have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience. Thanks Shari and Robert.
I grew up in Rockport so when my sales team tasked me with finding a house we could all stay in I knew where I wanted to go, but wasn't sure where I wanted to stay. Brian's Fish House was the perfect choice, we took 7 co-workers, 3 women and 4 men all with different interest and it was perfect. Those of us that wanted to fish did so in the morning, the beach was just about 15 minutes away in the afternoons and right around the corner from great places to shop and eat. The open floor plan was even perfect for spur of the moment shop talk. Nights found us grilling the catch of the day and drinking margarita's on the back deck. By the way, a piece of chicken fajita on the back hook of a top water lure is not a good bait plan. No matter what one of the ladies thought.. could have been the margaritas.... the team can't wait to get back but more importantly I can't wait to go back for more fishing!
My 2-year old twin granddaughters thoroughly enjoyed the toys, books and kids swimming pool. The teenage grandsons were grateful for the TV in “their” room and being able to fish out back. We could not have asked for better accommodations. This was truly a home away from home and staying under one roof made our family trip much more enjoyable, and affordable, compared to staying in separate hotel rooms. I highly recommend Brian's Fishin' House. Thanks, Shari!
