Everything about this place was awesome. The kids loved going down to the creek, picking apples, and going on long walks. The atmosphere of this cabin was everything we needed for a break from busy life. We will stay here again.
Perfect cabin hang out with friends
We spent most the time on the patio which had a great party laid-back kind of feel to it .
This is a great place to go to get away from it all! The owners are very accommodating and friendly and want you to enjoy your stay there. My favorite part of each day was having coffee on the front porch and watching the hummingbirds hover nearby.
We recently stayed at this great cabin and loved it! It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners make it easy by having extra supplies on hand such as dish soap, extra trash bags, plenty of movies, games etc. We stayed with 1 other family so we had 4 adults and 4 kids and it fit all of us comfortably. The owners are great to work with and they make every effort to ensure your stay is fantastic and hassle free. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of clean towels. We really enjoyed the Christopher Creek area and being able to walk to the restaurants for dinner. During the day, we kayaked at Woods Canyon and Willow Lake. We would definitely come back. Thanks Bo and Karen!
Cool Family Weekend
Thank you for the use of your cabin. I spoke to Karen on the phone the day before I arrived and had a very pleasant conversation. The cabin was just as advertised, the photos were very useful. Each room was just like I pictured it to be. The kitchen was my favorite; it was bright and cheerful with plenty of supplies. We had a wonderful time at Christopher Creek.
That's awesome to hear. Glad you and your family had a great time !
Compact comfy cabin with a great porch and super location in Christopher Creek!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed a get-away to Christopher Creek with lots of room for everyone in this comfortable cabin. Our hosts Karen and Bo went above and beyond to keep us informed and up to date on the rental and the town before arrival. Too bad the forest service No Fires ban was still in effect for the area, but we used the little propane grill for our burgers and made s'mores in the microwave. The town was having a problem with water pressure, but all seemed o.k. with very little disturbance. Bo and Karen kept us informed. Everything was clean and very well-kept inside and out, and the cabin was supplied with anything we could have needed. Having wi-fi was an unexpected plus. The little neighborhood of cabins was quite active and everyone seemed to be having a great time and were super friendly. The cabin is rustic, which our grandkids loved! After going on a fossil and quartz crystal hunting expedition in the Payson area they just wanted to go back to the cabin. They did go down to Christopher Creek and went rock-hopping in the water! There was plenty of room for everyone with all three kids choosing to stay in one bedroom. The first night they watched The Lion King, selected from the abundance of movies at the cabin. My husband and I were surprised that no one wanted to stay in the extra Sponge Bob room but it was nice for us because it made our room private. Our son and his wife also had a lovely private bedroom - a thousand times better than a shared motel room with the kids. What a joy coming from 112 degrees in Phoenix to be able to sleep with a ceiling fan and window open at 69 degrees. We enjoyed all of the Coca-Cola decorations, and were curious about the connection to Piel and the cabin's name Piel Inn. All of the little touches made the stay that much more sweet.
We are so glad you had a wonderful stay and the cabin accommodated your group comfortably. Bo and Karen
