I visit Dennis Port with a group every summer and this house is in a great location. It has everything you'd need for a home base when visiting the beaches and restaurants in the area. We had 8 adults that were able to sleep comfortably in this house. Phil and Theresa were great to work with and were very responsive to any questions we had. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was a minor issue with the water heater that initially left us without hot water. Phil and Theresa were once again very responsive and were able to get someone out there to fix it. Walking distance to Chapin's/Sand Dollar and an easy drive to West Dennis beach. Overall great place and I would definitely stay again.
The house was laid out very well and efficiently, and could easily hold 8 people with children. Very charming house and relatively clean. Walking to the beach was huge for us, but we could easily drive to all points of interest on the Cape very easily. I recommend staying here.
We were two families and we had a really great time at this locations. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood of Dennis and very close to the beach which we really enjoyed. The owners were very quick to respond to any of our request which was appreciated. However I would say that the cleaning crew didn’t do a good job prior to our arrival as the hardwood floors were not well cleaned and we had no cleaning supplies in the kitchen. There is no backyard for the kids so they were very boring when we were home. Besides the minor complains we had a really good time during our vacations. I would not rent this property again but would definatly recommend for families with older kids.
Had an unbelievable time in this house. Neighborhood was very calm and friendly. Very close to the beach. House had everything we needed and the owners were great with helping prepare before we arrived. Would definitely rent this house again.
Loved this place. Lots of room for 8. Well equipped and well maintained. Within walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores, ice cream, small mini putt golf and beach (our kids were between 7-13). Amazing Hot dog stand at the end of the street with home made lemonade and fish tacos.
Cute quite neighbourhood. Right in the middle of Cape cod so everything is within an hours drive. Owner provided great customer service. She was prompt in communications and refunding back our deposit. Would go back again and I recommend it to others.
Great house in quiet Dennisport neighborhood! Spacious rooms, updated furniture, nicely-stocked kitchen and pretty hardwood floors throughout. Easy 10 minute walk thru residential streets to Glendon Rd. Beach, and also walking distance to several restaurants, markets, shops, as well as kayaking and paddleboarding. Be sure to bring your own sheets & towels - as we learned, those are not commonly provided in Cape rentals, and the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Philip, the owner, provides a great list of restaurants, stores, and activities. The Dog House, and Joey's Pizza, both on the way to the beach, were big hits with my family. The nearby beach is fairly small with very little surf - perfect for younger kids. If you have teens (like me), you'll want to drive up the Cape a few miles to Chatham or Orleans for more boogie boarding-sized waves. You might also want to bring or rent wet suits as the water on the Atlantic side is mighty chilly. If you're looking at Cape towns, Dennisport is situated in the middle of several quaint small towns, making it easy to explore the area. Nearby Hyannis has a nice harbor with sailing and fishing tours, as well as ferries to Nantucket & Martha's Vineyard. Yarmouth has an inflatable park with lots of water slides that my teens enjoyed. All along Hwy 28 are mini-golf places, arcades, and ice cream shops. Chatham is a picturesque town with a lively downtown area, and a classic Cape Cod lighthouse. As first time visitors to the Cape, we loved it and would stay here again if we have another chance to visit.
Located 1/2 mile from the ocean. There are many restaurants, mini golfing, go carts, mountain biking and bike trails, ice cream, shopping and lots of Cape Cod summer fun.
