The company and the home were miles above our expectations! You will not be disappointed. Close to shopping, groceries and sites to see. A short trip to Niagara Falls and all of the attractions. My kids loved coming back to the comforts of a home not a hotel. The home was spotless, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need.

The place was beautiful.. very clean.. but we had to keep the noise down after 10pm.. but overall it was a great experience !!!
Housed looked cozy on the outside and does not give the impression that behind the door there is a beautiful and spacious home. Everything looked clean and kept, some of the furniture pictured was not at the house, but nothing to make a big deal over. We were very comfortable and happy with the house.
I was disappointed there was no cable and we had to monitor how much wireless data we used. Cable should be a must, or at least have a DVD player or game console. I didn't like the idea of having to wash our towels before we left and the recycle can wasn't big enough for the amount of people a house like this fits (we did use many water bottles, etc.).
First impression of the property was slightly disappointing as the grass as the front of the house was unkempt. Once inside the property was mostly what I expected with the exception of only being one easy chair in the living area and not the two shown. On we soon discovered the air conditioning was not working but was promptly resolved by the company. I was disappointed with the back yard and the grill as both had not been cleaned our maintained. I had visions before leaving the UK of sitting with a glass of wine in the garden while enjoying a BBQ which couldn't be realised. On the plus side I enjoyed my weeks stay and found the property to be clean and in good order.
We arrived at this property around supper time. When we got to the lock box, there was only one key instead of the two. Realizing that if two were not returned at the end of the stay, we would be financially responsible, we texted the manager instantly. The response to the text was a smiley emoticon. During that time, we discovered other problems including a broken cutlery drawer, a kettle that did not work and the realization we were responsible for consumables like toilet tissue, paper towels and garbage bags. We needed a face cloth to wash one of the children but the two only there were quite soiled. I then proceeded to e-mail the manager and he finally telephoned and spoke with contempt to us. The long and the short of it was we never received a kettle that worked, we had to launder towels twice over our four day stay and we purchased the consumables needed to function. I have never had to supply consumables before with any VRBO/Home Away rentals that we have stayed in and we have used VRBO around 10 times in many cities. Unfortunately, the upstairs has 3 bedrooms and the basement has 2 bedrooms. The Heat/Air could not be regulated. In order to have the rooms in the basement warm enough to sleep in, the upstairs had to stay very warm. If there were blankets, we could have managed better. There was no handle to the upstairs tub faucet and the washing machine would only rinse with hot water. I am still wondering why it was called “Niagara Stone Retreat” I guess that is why there is no picture of the exterior
Nice Property !!! Clean and cozy bed rooms and luxurious washrooms. Everything that you need is there !!! BBQ Grill, dishes, pans, forks and many more ! Excellent condition property. Strongly recommended.
Clean and easy to locate. Fenced back yard was a nice surprise being we brought our fur babies!
Only problem was that the WiFi stopped working the 1st morning and I tried to call and never received a call back....
Outstanding natural walking, cycling, bird watching, running paths. Ask about our local wildlife sanctuaries. Outdoor events, attractions, festivals are year round. Award winning wineries and fantastic outlet shopping. There's plenty to see and do and leave you wanting to come back for more.
