We loved everything about the home. Our family of 5 only used the bottom floor for sleeping which left the 3rd floor for a playroom. Loved having the kitchen on the second floor. Felt like a loft. It is in a quiet location and has the total Tommy Bahama elegant feel of a beach house! We highly recommend it!
I was very impressed with this beach rental. I loved that it was part of the Seacrest community, but was not so close to the pool that it was "busy". It was just a short walk (quick cart ride) from the incredible resort-style pool and the beach. This rental was really well equipped and felt like renting someone's home that was well taken care of. Thank you!
I would give this house at minimum 4 Stars and possibly 5 Stars if it wasn't for the Heavy Construction that was going on with 15 feet of our Rental. There was no prior mention of this occurring during our stay through the VRBO Site, nor from our Rental Agent. It was a terrible nuisance, and it started every morning at 7am (even on Saturday) and ended at 5pm. This wasn't just hammering or painting, ect...it was band saws, and nail guns, and circular saws, ect. It was very loud, and ruined 2 out of 3 of our mornings (Friday and Saturday). Luckily, our group was younger and did not have any kids or babies with us (that would have made it even worse).
But, the house was exactly as described, and it was in great shape. We 8 People in our Group, and it slept everyone just fine (1 person in a queen, 2 in a king, 2 in a king, 1 in the double bunk bed room and then 2 in the other double bunk bed room)...we had room for 2 more people just fine (could sleep 2 others on the couches upstairs if it's works with your group). The Queen Bedroom and King Bedroom downstairs worked out great...both had TVs in their Room, and the King had a nice Bathroom exclusive to it. The Master King on the Top Floor was great...bed was very nice, the space was plenty big enough, and the Bathroom was exceptional. The Bunk Beds were fine too...just Bunk Beds.
So, I would 100% confirm about the possibility of Construction next to or in that area...as that might put a damper on your trip. If there is a guarantee on no Construction during the time of your trip, then this house is a great option!
Our family met up at Comfort and Joy. We all had privacy as well as plenty of room in the common areas on the second floor. Furnishings were more comfortable and abundant than previous homes we've stayed in. We had no problems at all with wifi and the construction nearby was quiet, so we had no problems with it. Lots of bathrooms and an overall roomy layout for 10 of us. Bright lights from a hotel across a parking lot and dirty pots and pans and a few dishes we had to wash before using are the only negatives we experienced.
The inside of this house was very nice and well kept. The rooms were great and worked perfectly for 2 families with young kids. I will say that he internet service did not work even 1 second while we were there. Luckily, we all had hot spots. If you are going to stay here, just know you will not have internet. The cable was terrible too with very few channels available. In fact in the bedrooms you could only pick up 2 or 3 channels. There is construction going on directly by the house. However, it never bothered us. The pool was just a 5 minute walk and the shuttle was always great to take us to beach. I would recommend this property.
We couldn't have picked a better place to spend our Thanksgiving vacation! The house was beautiful and very clean. We had 3 families with kids, and the house was plenty big. This was our first time staying at Seacrest Beach, and the area was far above our expectations. The Tree lighting evening with Santa was awesome.
The rental company was very friendly and great to deal with. They answered all my emails and phone calls in a timely manner. We accidentally locked ourselves out one evening, and Emily was great! She came out super fast at 11pm on a Saturday evening and was as nice as could be. I highly recommend this place.
