Thanks for everything.
Location next to the Chondola/ski slopes was outstanding. The facilities are very expansive and comfortable. We understand that we were the second renters under a new owner. There were a few minor glitches, but response from management were surprisingly responsive and accomodating. All PROs and no CONs. When coming back to Telluride, we would look no further for accomodations.
Special kudos to Ryan, though everyone was great to deal with.
Door 2 Door - for ski equipment rental was also top notch.
This Property is in the perfect location for accessing the mountain. The Chondola is just a couple steps from the home and from there you can access the entire mountain as well as ride into town day or night. Quick access to the village and I do recommend the Spa at the Peaks, which is just up the Chondola. The unit it quite new and we really appreciated the heated floors and 3 baths made getting ready easy. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc. Unfortunately, the funishings in the unit are deceiving; They look wonderful when you walk in, however the living room furniture and beds are not comfortable at all , pillows/blankets/linens of very low quality and therefore lounging and sleeping were a challenge. Also, if you get bad weather, don't plan to sit inside and watch movies as the television is poor quality and has only basic cable, no ability to play movies. Side note too, this is Colorado, so the daily weed usage by the neighbors below seeps heavily up through the floor. I would recommend this location again, just probably not this unit.
Well kept mountain home in a great location. Transportation and gondolas are fantastic.
We were delighted to explore the western part of our state from this beautiful home. The home is well stocked/appointed, goergous and clean and the area is fabulous! We had hot weather and it was a little stuffy w/o a.c. but cooled off ok at night. The management team was very responsive to our concern about no hot water at all on arrival (on a Sunday no less) and they took care of it while we were out immediately. The home is very open so be aware that one bedroom with the full bed and futon is on a loft, open to the main living space/kitchen...for our kids this meant we had to have main area lights out and be super quiet, etc after their bedtime...no big deal since we were all exhausted early anyway from all the fun hikes surrounding. The free gondola transport system (only free one in the state I learned) is a real asset to the community and was fun! There is endless exploration and even an amazing hike with incredible vistas 10 yards down the hill from the property. The property is actually on a ski slope with hiking and exploration in that direction as well. We had a fantastic stay here and highly recommend.
Super clean place. 15 minute walk to the center of Mountain Village. The shuttle service is quick and efficient if you don't want to walk. Great place to start running or Mt biking, trailhead is very close. Kitchen is well equipped. Only suggestion would be to open the windows prior to tennants coming. When we got there it was stifling inside and took a couple days to cool off. Easy fix!!
