A few of the wineries offer a weekend summer concert series of events. More than 1,000 acres planted in wine grapes comprise what is now known as the Columbia Cascades viticultural region. Mission Ridge is where jagged peaks of the Cascade Range meet the high rugged desert of Eastern Washington. A volcanic past has created a ridge where snowcapped peaks shimmer on one side and the Columbia River rolls majestically on the other. But don't let the views distract you; Mission Ridge has over 2000 acres to explore. Carve tree lined groomers, float through wide-open bowls, wiggle through glades, or scream down narrow chutes. Without a doubt, Washington's Premier Ski Resort!
The Wenatchee Valley now offers an abundant selection of great golf courses including championship courses as well as local community courses. Thank you for letting us rent your home for our weekend in Wenatchee. We loved walking into a clean and well air-conditioned home after our day. The home had everything we needed. We loved having dinner in the back yard, there is a wonderful table that is set down overlooking the ravine. We were very happy with this house and would stay here again.
Shannon was friendly and helpful on emails (gave a great recommendation for a winery to visit - Martin Scotts). The house is well laid-out - spacious bedrooms and very comfortable beds. The kitchen is big and it was easy to have three people in there making dinner. The backyard patios are lovely and we had our morning coffees and dinners out there for both of the days we had. Though you are in a housing development neighbhorhood, it is quiet and the high fence in the backyard gives you a sense of being more secluded. And the fact that the back is open to a beautiful, expansive view also helps with that. We enjoyed our time at the house, and in Wentachee, thoroughly. Do check out the Apple Loop trail that goes along the river - it was a great walk that you can make as long or as short as you want.
The home was very beautiful, homey and the view was fantastic. Our entire family enjoyed our time there, we were able to relax, cook dinners and enjoy our time together. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and glasses. We took day trips to Chelan, Cashmere and Leavenworth everything was easy access.
Our group loved everything about this house. When you're driving up the hill into the neighborhood, you can see a beautiful view of Wenatchee and all the houses nearby. All the rooms were just like how it was described in the pictures. The hot tub was good too. We will definitely stay here again!
Our stay at Shannon's 4 bdrm, 2 bath house was fantastic. We were three families together and the house had everything we could need. Instructions and guidelines were straightforward and easy to follow and the view from the backyard was fabulous. We enjoyed having our morning coffee outside amongst the lavender bushes while watching quail and a glass of wine at night while star gazing. The house was nicely decorated, clean, exactly as described and had everything we needed. Since we were three families, there were multiple spaces inside and outside where small groups could gather and read a book, converse, or play a game without disturbing others. I would definitely recommend this VRBO property. Thank you for having us!
We had a good time staying at this property. Everything was stocked in the kitchen and there was even tea/coffee and toiletry items for us to use. One small complaint is that the outdoor hot tub was a bit on the small side and the shower drain got clogged up but the owner had draino ready and that cleared the problem. Overall everything was working order and beds were nice and soft. The owner was very nice to answer all our questions even on her birthday!
