Its an ideal place to relax for a getaway weekend or for the business traveler looking for an executive retreat.

On the East Side (dry side) of the Cascade Mountain Range with 300+ days of Sunshine per year. The incredible Columbia River & Wenatchee River flow throughout the Valley. Wenatchee is known as the Apple Capital of the World and is surrounded by many apple, pear and cherry orchards. In the springtime when the trees are in bloom, Wenatchee becomes a valley of flowering trees. Don't miss the Apple Blossom Festival in May. Wenatchee is also an outdoor paradise with Spectacular Golf, Wine Tasting (more than 30 wineries within a half hour drive), River Rafting, Boating, Jet Skiing, Water Skiing, Wake Boarding, Hang Gliding, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Mushroom Hunting, Small and Big Game Hunting, Fishing, SnowMobiling, Snow Boarding, Snow Skiing.....there are so many things to do its impossible to list them all. There are not many places in the world as beautiful as Wenatchee. Come see for yourself!

Wine Tasting:

There are now over 30 wineries within a half hour drive of Wenatchee. Many of these wineries are now producing award winning wines with a number of 90+ ratings from the Winespectator. A few of the wineries offer a weekend summer concert series of events. More than 1,000 acres planted in wine grapes comprise what is now known as the Columbia Cascades viticultural region. Tour the vineyards and tasting rooms along the shores of North Central Washington's many lakes and rivers, and on into the foothills of the majestic Cascade Range. Stunning views accompany you along the way, and at each stop you are rewarded with award winning wines.

Mission Ridge:

Mission Ridge is where jagged peaks of the Cascade Range meet the high rugged desert of Eastern Washington. A volcanic past has created a ridge where snowcapped peaks shimmer on one side and the Columbia River rolls majestically on the other. But don't let the views distract you; Mission Ridge has over 2000 acres to explore. Carve tree lined groomers, float through wide-open bowls, wiggle through glades, or scream down narrow chutes. Without a doubt, Washington's Premier Ski Resort!

The Wenatchee Valley now offers an abundant selection of great golf courses including championship courses as well as local community courses. Some of the most well known are: Desert Canyon, Chelan Municipal, Bear Mountain, The Highlander, Wenatchee Golf & Country Club, Three Lakes, Khaler Glen, Leavenworth Municipal, and Cresent Bar. With 300+ days of sunshine and reasonable green fees, Wenatchee makes for a great weekend & golf getaway.

The house was a good fit for 4 adults and 3 teens.

  • 4 of 5

Rooms were big enough, kitchen was big enough, hot tub was nice, and it was great to have a garage to park the cars in. I would suggest many more towel bars and/or hooks for a place that can sleep 10, there were two towel racks and one hook. Also, it would be nice to have saran wrap and/or aluminum foil...not items families generally travel with. Otherwise, we were happy and would stay there again.

Nice place for the winter vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We had so much fun here, escaping our daily routine and spending the last days of 2016 in a cozy house like this one. The house was nice and big. One bathroom for 3 bedrooms may be quite a problem but we could deal with it. The kitchen was stocked with all the needs. We enjoyed our cozy evenings playing the games we found there and also having fun with the hot tub. Definitely a good place to run away from the city.

Loved It!

  • 5 of 5

What a great stay! This home is really nice, and was a perfect starting point for our five days of skiing at Mission Ridge. Shannon has a beautiful home in a very pleasant neighborhood. This is one of the best stocked homes we've stayed in - she thought of every necessity and convenience. We highly recommend this home!

Very comfortable home. Many stories and laughs were made in that living room this weekend. Renting this house allowed me to congregate with my family while we were in town for a wedding. Great location, loved the big kitchen, and enjoyed the 4-person hot tub.

Very comfortable house for a family group who doesn't like to be cramped in a hotel!

  • 5 of 5

We found the house was just as described. Very nicely decorated and cozy for our group of 5. We enjoyed cooking in the big kitchen. It is very well stocked with anything you need for cooking. Plenty of plates, cups and glasses too. We enjoyed watching football & movies in the living room. It has a big TV with lots of ports for connecting most anything. The room with the overhead projector was nice, but no bathroom at that end of the house or closet in the room, so nobody slept in that one. It’s good if you want to watch DVD movies, but there are no connections for hooking up other games. The beds and bedding were all very comfortable and plenty of towels in the bathrooms.

The back yard was nicely landscaped with lots of trees and a beautiful lawn. Just watch out, the sprinklers come on very often. Nice patio with table & chairs & BBQ in the back yard. Great place for eating a meal! The scenery there is nice too. There are beautiful hills behind the house, so you aren’t looking at the neighbors. It is a very nice neighborhood. Lots of nice homes and a very safe feeling area.

The hot tub was nice, but could use some lighting for night time soaking.

There are lots of stores close by for food shopping and plenty of restaurants. Only a little over 6 miles from the Wenatchee Convention center downtown. So it was perfect for going back & forth to our comfy rental house.

While in Wenatchee we enjoyed some good restaurants, the public market, the movie theatre, parks by the river, antique stores, the aplets & cotlets factory in nearby Cashmere, and a drive up to Mission Ridge. There are also lots of breweries & wineries there now too.

It was a great place for a relaxing escape!
