Wonderful Week of Memories Made with Family!

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing week we had here. A week with grandparents, aunts, uncles, & cousins...making lifetime memories. Plenty of space to spread out, but at the same time great large spaces to play games and enjoy each other. Huge yard to play capture the flag. Plenty of places to grill and build campfires. Fishing was easy any time of the day with the private pier. We brought our kayaks and enjoyed endless hours paddling and enjoying the small private beach.

The house was gorgeous, the pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful furniture through out the house that was not only amazing, but functional and comfortable. Dinners around the huge dining room tables was one of my favorite parts.

The room above the garage was great for night time pool tournaments and card games..

Bathrooms were plentiful and always had hot water even when all were being used!

We didn't want to leave, but when we did, it was a nice drive into Beaufort where we shopped. Loved the General Store. Kid enjoyed the escape room in Morehead City. Closet store is roughly 13 miles, but the two fridges helped us stay stocked.

Looking forward to planning our next visit.

Breathtaking......Where do I begin...

Absolutely the best place to take a vacation!! The location was absolutely amazing, the home was nestled on the most beautiful acreage right on the water! So much room for our children to ride bikes and enjoy playing outdoors. This property also had the most amazing fire pits where we hosted marshmallow roasts while spending time with family and friends. The boat dock was truly our favorite, we were able to take our boat and enjoy downtown Beaufort area as well as visiting Shackleford Banks where the wild horses roam, it was truly spectacular!!!

Not to mention how beautiful the home was, just absolutely gorgeous!!!

The home had enough room for our family and friends. All the bedrooms were beautifully decorated and each room had bathrooms which made it easy to enjoy!! The kitchen was an absolute chef"s dream, very fun to be able to cook and enjoy the space due to how big it was, loved it!!!

This by far was the best vacation, very Blessed to have found such a great retreat!!

Perfect Property!

  • 5 of 5

We have been to this house twice and absolutely love it. Joyce has been a pleasure to work with and has had answers to any questions within hours! Our group is 6-8 men and it's been a great getaway for us! It's a nice break from the wives and children. We can bring our boats and dock them at the end of the house - it's pretty perfect. This place is gated and secluded and we really love it. Days are spent fishing, relaxing at the house and building fires in the evening, and watching sports on the several tvs. We love the tv in the kitchen (and the second fridge in the mud room), the huge couch and huge tv in the kitchen, plus the game room with pool and poker tables has a nice tv as well. The kitchen is large and fits all of us very well (we cook every meal at our vacation home), tons of bedrooms and bathrooms on every level, rooftop access for an amazing view, plentiful firewood for any of the three fire pits, as well as a golf cart! That golf cart is a blessing so we don't have to carry coolers from the house to the dock (the front yard is HUGE!), and carrying firewood if we need. We can't wait to return in 2017!

Fantastic Property

  • 5 of 5

We had an "Early Thanksgiving" this week with our friends and family sharing different periods of the week, filling the house with our Kids and Grand-kids for the last 3 days of the week. (7 Kids and 8 adults) Joyce was a wonderful resource in helping us get things set up and followed through in a few hours on every question or need. Fred was the caretaker who lives just down the street, and was so kind offering fresh caught fish and shrimp. This is a unique property setting back from the ICW with an expansive front acreage and a delightful rear area with a lovely covered fire-pit area. Over the 3 bay garage is a large game room with Pool and Poker tables. The golf cart was a joy as the warm weather allowed many fun rides, and allowed us to make friends with some of the local families. The house is regal yet relaxed in style, with multiple areas and associated bed and bathrooms. the kitchen served us well, and we cooked almost everything you can imagine. Everyone was comfortable and the first of the week with the Mega Moon shared with our dear friends was joyous and restful capped by a trip into lovely Beaufort, for lunch. The last night gazing at the stars from the widow's walk with kids wrapped in blankets was more than special. One of our sons suggested that we rent again, and we will! Space, privacy, amazing locale, comfort, and well managed!

Absolutely beautiful space for our wedding!

  • 5 of 5

This venue was the perfect location for our wedding! We had planned to hold our ceremony down by the water, but due to the unexpected rainy weather we had to move it to the screened in porch. It was still perfect! The backyard pavilion was a great space to hold our reception and dance floor. The outdoor fireplace made for a beautiful backdrop. The kitchen is spacious and allowed for our catering company to cook in-house and lay out our buffet style dinner on the kitchen table. Several of our guests were able to spend the night in the house, which was perfect for the next morning's brunch. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings, or even for a peaceful family vacation!

Wonderful property!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for my brothers wedding. House was beautifully decorated, very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The views were absolutely breath taking. The pavilion out back was prefect for the wedding reception. We went kayaking, fishing, walking though woods, hung out by the fire pits, and relaxed in the hammock. We seen many different types of wildlife including wild turkeys, deer, and birds. It was the perfect wedding/vacation spot! I can't wait to go back next year for our family reunion!
