Directly On Sapphire Beach, Unit E308 offers Spectacular Views overlooking St.John and the British Virgin Islands. On each of the Two Floors are Sleeping space, Bathrooms and Balconies. Included are a Computer, Wireless Internet, Bose SoundTouch Music, Telephones, TVs with Cable, DVD with Movies, Netflix, Play Stations 2 and 3 with Games, Snorkel Gear, Beach Chairs, Beach Towels, Electric Grill, Infant Equipment, Daily Towel Exchange/Trash Removal, Mid-Week Housekeeping. The property has a Marina, White Sand Beach with Swimming Area, Coral Reefs, and an Oceanfront Pool. This Ideal East End Location is less than a mile from Red Hook with its' Restaurants, Harbor and Ferry Service.

Our Condo is on the third and fourth floors at the Top of E Building at the quiet end of the Beach convenient to the Marina. Building E faces East allowing for lovely Breezes and Gorgeous Views. From this location, so close to the water, you have an unobstructed, panoramic View of the Sapphire Blue Caribbean Sea and Colorful, ever-changing Skies from Sunrise to Sunset. St. John and the British Virgin Islands form the backdrop and provide dots of sparkling lights at night. The boats coming in and out of the Marina are beautiful and calming.

With its two floors, our condo offers comfort and flexibility for couples or families. Both levels of this condo have Full Bathrooms with Showers and hair dryers, Sleeping and Living space, and Balconies with Tables and seating. The Full Kitchen is equipped with Stainless Steel Appliances, Glass Cooktop, Cookware, Dinnerware and Electric Grill. Food and Drinks can be enjoyed at the Indoor Table, at the Breakfast Bar, on the Balcony, or Poolside. Quiet, Top Floor Workspace with a Toshiba computer and unlimited WiFi is provided for work or play without giving up the view. The main floor has a 50" Sony Smart TV with Netflix Streaming Video, a Sony Play Station 3 with Games for all ages plus a DVD Player with a large selection of DVD Movies. The Bedroom Suite at the top floor has a 42" Toshiba, LCD, Flat-Screen TV, Sony Play Station 2 with Games, Netflix, and a Sony DVD Player with Movies. For your sleeping comfort are a King size Bed upstairs, featuring a Therapedic Memory Foam Pillow Top Mattress and Queen size Sofa Beds on both 3rd and 4th floors that are new, highly rated, easy to use models.

You will appreciate this Beautiful Beach and Convenient Location. Snorkeling is great fun at the Coral Reef in crystal clear water right out in front of E Building. High Quality Snorkel Gear for 6 in two sizes is stored in this condo for guest use. A Dive In shop on the beach has water sports such as kayaks and parasailing available for rental. Sapphire Beach has two active Reefs, a large Swimming area and a cascading, bi-level, oceanfront Pool. Sea Grape trees, along the water's edge, provide shade allowing for hours of relaxation while enjoying the sound of the waves and the gentle breezes. Adjacent to Building E, the Sapphire Beach Marina offers Boating, Diving, Sailing and Fishing trips to meet all purposes of visitors.

The Sapphire Bar & Grill, a full service restaurant and bar at Sapphire Village, is easily walkable from E Building. The Banana Cabana, a food service on the beach offers Grilled Sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and early dinner plus an assortment of frosty drinks. Less than a mile away is the village of Red Hook where you will find most anything you may want or need including numerous restaurants, urgent care, pharmacy, post office, laundromat, groceries plus a Ferry service (pedestrian and auto) to St. John and the British Virgin Islands. A rental car company, All Around Car Rentals, is located at the entrance drive to Sapphire Beach.

St. Thomas has many attractions and activities within easy driving distance such as Mahogany Run Golf Course, Magens Bay, Coral World, Zip-Lining, Hiking Trails, Sky-Lift, Botanical Gardens, Drake's Seat, and more. Colorful downtown Charlotte Amalie, the capital city, is a 25-minute drive and offers duty-free shopping. A 20 minute ferry ride will take you to St.John and a 30-minute seaplane flight will take you to historic St. Croix.

St. Thomas’ temperatures hover around a pleasant 80 degrees all year. You can adjust your indoor temperature with thermostats on both levels and Central Air Conditioning/ Heat. Ceiling fans and ocean breezes add to the comfort of island living. The island topography is hilly and absolutely gorgeous with lush tropical foliage and ocean views from almost everywhere.

No passport is needed by American citizens to visit the US Virgin Islands of St.Thomas, St.John, Water Island or St.Croix. Bring one if you want to make side trips to the British Virgin Islands of Tortola, Jost van Dyke or Virgin Gorda.

Thank you for your interest in our condo. This is a non-smoking unit. Required minimum age of responsible guest is 25. A strong Security System is in place with lighting, cameras and personnel available 24 hours a day. The Exterior of Building E was recently completely renovated. The Interior of our condo, unit E308, was renovated, refurbished and redecorated in November, 2015.

About Mary Logue

My husband and I fell in love with the ocean when we moved from Minnesota to Miami upon graduating from University. We now enjoy our life in North Carolina between the mountains and the beach. We first vacationed as a family in St. Thomas at the suggestion of our son, Eric, who is certified in deep sea diving, in the spring of 1999. It was so incredibly beautiful and enjoyable that we purchased a villa at the lovely Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina. I have since retired from teaching art and my husband has retired to Professor Emeritus status at Duke Medical Center here in Durham, NC. Eric now owns Logue Healthcare Consulting Company and is living in Atlanta, GA, enjoying direct flights to STT. Our other son, Sean, a manager of software engineering at IBM in NC, has joined in this wonderful experience. We all make regular trips to Sapphire Beach together and with friends. Last year, we celebrated the holiday season and our anniversary there and watched the fireworks being set off at St. John on New Year's Eve from our balcony. It remains the best get-away ever!

We always are happy to return to the incredibly beautiful Sapphire Beach. It's a wonderful place to begin and end each day.

What makes this condo unique

We love our top floor condo in E building for its spectacular view, ocean breezes, and quiet, calming environment. This spacious, well-designed, two-story condo affords us flexibility and comfort. One can sleep or work upstairs while another watches TV or enjoys an early morning cup of coffee downstairs. There is no one else above or below the bedroom and no one else looking down on our balconies or looking in from the beach. Building E is at the quiet end of the beach and is convenient to the marina, laundry facility, pool, coral reef, and restaurant.

The condo was PERFECT! Convenient location, beautiful beach with awesome views. The condo is fully stocked with everything you need from cooking to relaxing to beaching it. BEAUTIFUL WITH AMAZING SEA VIEWS

This was our third consecutive stay at Cheeseburger in Paradise and one of our best stays on St Thomas. We arrived to find remodeled bathrooms, new furniture throughout the condo as well as new dinnerware, curtains and lighting. There was also a bottle of Cruzan Rum and Mixed Berry Juice in the fridge (very nice).

Mary pays attention to every detail, from providing two umbrellas should you need them for an island rain shower; magnifying mirror in the bathroom; dish detergent; paper towels; candles for ambiance; starter soap, shampoo and conditioner; flashlight; coolers for a day at the beach and portable beach chairs, for beach or island hopping. The daily towel exchange is nice and two large baskets are available for placing used towels, to keep them out of the way. The kitchen cabinets are stocked with plenty of plates, glassware, wine glasses, coffee mugs and large and small acrylic cups.

Mary has brought the beauty of nature from Sapphire Beach, and surrounding area, to the walls of her condo. Beautiful canvas prints are hung throughout and are a nice addition to the décor.

The two sliding glass doors have light filtering blinds that provide just the right balance of sunlight and privacy. Closing the blinds and turning up the AC when you leave each morning for the beach will keep the condo cool and comfy for your afternoon return. A late afternoon cocktail on the deck is perfect for watching the ferries and sail boats pass by.

My dining recommends are Iggie’s; Cruzan Beach Club; Sunset Grill; Sangria’s; Oceana Grand Cru (my favorite); Mim’s Seaside Bistro; Ocean Grill and High Tide Bar and Grill on St John. Catching a sunset from the beach or patio at High Tide is spectacular and should not be missed!

On busy cruise ship days, take the car barge (if you’ve rented a car) or the people ferry to St John for the day. If Cinnamon Bay, Trunk Bay and Honeymoon Beach are crowded, find your way to Salt Pond. Salt Pond is great for snorkeling and you won’t be disappointed. Be sure to catch the amazing view and a banana daiquiri at Mountain Top. We find the best time of day is 3:00 – 5:00 when cruise ships are not in port.

The condo was excellent. Recently updated. Close to the Red Hook ferry service.

The condo was great. The patios overlooked the bay and the snorkeling was excellent. The ability to take the ferry over to St John and visit Trunk Bay is only 5 minutes away. If you are going to explore the island, you will need to rent a car. Not having a car will limit your ability to go and come as you please. The pool areas are disappointing based on it is not really children friendly. However, it could easily become one if they would fix the pool cabana, provide a lunch at the cabana, and install some water fountains for the kids to play in. Do not let the entry into the property worry you, the tennis courts are not maintained so ignore them. The condo we stayed in was a lot better than anticipated. The owner was great with our requests. She had everything listed for you in a binder, you know exactly where to go for items and everything was in great condition. She is very organized and you could tell that in the condo. The maid service was excellent and they arrived at the same time every day. I think the condo is probably one of the best in the area, highly recommend that if you want a great place to stay, this is it. The water, access to other areas of the island, and views are outstanding. Stay there and enjoy your time away from reality.

We, owners, agree that the reopening of a poolside bar and grill would be advantageous for us and our guests. The owner of this bar patio area has not yet done so but we expect that will change. In the meantime, the nearby Banana Cabana will deliver food and drinks to the pool patio. I appreciate this thorough, thoughtful review and would certainly welcome this family back for a future stay in our vacation home. Memories to last a lifetime at Sapphire Beach

This condo was everything all the reviews said it was and more. My family leads a fast paced life with 3 daughters and we wanted sand, surf, solace. Building E provided just that. This condo sits off to the left near the marina. It was peaceful to watch the boats come and go. The other people in the condo were couples or families. This is just what we wanted. Quiet, not a party scene. The beach is perfect for snorkeling and we used the sets Mary left. This saved us money in rentals ftom the dive shop. If you snorkel, grab the noodles and use them as flotation devices! We saw so many fish! There was a turtle sighting, but we didn't see him, next time!

The condo itself was so well decorated. Beach theme, but not tacky. It's thoughtfully stocked with welcome rum, beach towels, enough towels and bedding, fully equipped kitchen, spices, Keurig, a blender ( pina coladas daily), and good sleeping situations. We have 3 daughters, we put one on each sofa sleeper, one on the air bed. The 2 on sofas were jealous of the air bed. It's very comfy! We made breakfast and lunch in the condo and dined out for dinner. Everything we made, Mary had the right cookware for the job. There's even a crock pot.

I have to be honest, I didn't want to leave. From coffee on the balconies to sunrise over the ocean, to the beautiful pool and beach, the stay in this condo will remain in my soul forever. Thank you Mary for working so hard to provide such a beautiful rental. We couldn't have found anything for us.

Location, location, location

We had such a wonderful time at this condo! We (me, my husband and 3 children ages 12, 9 and 7) stayed here for a week. The location was fantastic. Sapphire Beach is beautiful and located a short drive from Red Hook, Coki Beach and Smith (Lindquist) Beach. The condo itself is located all the way at the end of the complex, next to the marina. This was especially nice because it added a great deal of privacy. No one was hanging out on the beach just below our balcony. The view from the balcony was stunning.

The condo was lovely. Mary had a bottle of rum and OJ waiting for us in the fridge. Thank you! The condo has everything you need and more! We used the flippers, small igloo cooler, and brought the beach chairs to a couple of beaches. We loved having fresh beach towels daily! The kids worked on puzzles and played cards and a board game in the evenings. Mary has an extensive movie collection, but we never had a chance to watch a single movie...too busy spending time at the beaches. The condo was clean and updated. My only disappointment was the bed/pull-out couch layout. The bedroom was upstairs and had a pull-out couch in the same room. The second pull-out couch was downstairs. We put all 3 kids upstairs, and me and my husband slept downstairs. I would have preferred the bed, but we're fairly laid back, so not a big deal.

We took the ferry to St. John (Trunk Bay) one day. I recommend eating dinner at the Beach Bar near the ferry dock. Other things we did on St. Thomas: Coki Beach, Coral World, Secret Harbor Beach, Magen's Bay Beach (head to the far left side---cruise ship tourists stay on the right--so crowded!!), Mountain Top, 99 Steps (FYI Blackbeard's Castle is closed most days!). My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE BEACH was Smith (Lindquist) Beach. Always bring your snorkel gear! Also, we managed to get some fresh fish for dinner from DoubleHeader which docks at the Sapphire Beach Marina. We ended up renting a Jeep and we are so glad we did. Gave us a lot of flexibility.

We are so glad we chose Mary's condo. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Owner's Response: This family made some excellent choices for activities and restaurants. Great advice regarding beach hopping - a favorite St. Thomas activity of many visitors. I know future guests will appreciate their sharing their experiences. Yes, the bedroom suite upstairs has a king bed and a queen sofa bed while the lower level has a queen sofa bed. To allow more flexibility for sleeping arrangements, I provide a high quality self-inflating/ deflating (4 minutes) air mattress that can be placed on the floor of either level plus a 3 inch foam mattress topper. I have been storing the air mattress in an outside linen closet to leave more closet space for guests. It's clear that this option is easily missed in my long list of information so I will have this mattress placed in the condo closet where it will be easily accessible. My husband and I have slept comfortably on the sofa bed but, of course, our first choice would also be the king bed. Mary and Patrick

Perfect Vacation Site

We had a wonderful week staying in this condo. The condo is clean and beautifully decorated. The pictures hanging on the walls are incredible. The condo is well furnished and has a lot of fun amenities. The location is awesome. We walked out to the beach every day and enjoyed snorkeling. It is a great snorkeling sight and it has a wonderful beach. The views from the deck are spectacular! We enjoyed eating our meals out on the deck. It is a very quiet condo. Mary, the owner, is very easy to communicate with. She was always very responsive to our emails and she gave us a lot of helpful information about the area - places to eat, activities to do, where to shop, where to buy groceries, etc. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay with spectacular views and an awesome beach, I would highly recommend staying at this condo. I would definitely stay here again!

Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina is a condominium complex directly on Sapphire Beach conveniently located at the East End of St.Thomas. Sapphire Beach has two coral reefs for snorkeling, a swimming area and a sandy beach lined with Sea Grape Trees and Palms. A Dive Shop on the beach has Water Sports Equipment for Rental. The Sapphire Marina, adjacent to Building E, has numerous excursions available for deep sea fishing, snorkeling, dinner cruises, island hopping and sailing. Red Hook is less than one mile away where Auto and Pedestrian Ferries leave from American Yacht Harbor to neighboring US and British Virgin Islands. Numerous restaurants with varied decor and menu choices, including Caribbean lobster, are just minutes away. Mahogany Run Golf Course, a 15-minute drive, is world-renowned and Coral World, an attraction for all ages, is nearby. Taxis are readily available but visitors often enjoy exploring the island by driving. Rental cars are easily gotten at the airport with advance reservations. A rental car company, All Around Car Rentals, is located at the entrance drive to Sapphire Beach.
