Why H W Olinger chose Newport East
This property is adorable! I knew that it would be a perfect getaway place and 2nd home to really enjoy Newport. It is in a perfect location away from all of the noise of downtown Newport. I love the little backyard that feels so private and grilling on the patio. It is a small cottage but a perfect place to rest and relax from your busy Newport day of museums or fun in the sun at 2nd beach (my favorite!) Very close to St. Georges and Salve if you need a close place to call home while in Newport. Don't forget to walk to the Cliffwalk and take a ride on the carosel at Easton's Beach. Be sure to grab a Dell's lemonade too. Enjoy and thank you for looking. You won't be disappointed by the charm of Flip Flop Cottage.

Really Cute Cottage
We really enjoyed staying here. It's tiny but very comfortable. Perfect for a family with two kids. walking distance to the beach and to a few restaurants. Hillary was great!
Great stay! Loved the large back-yard
We stayed for the first two weeks of August and it was lovely. Hillary was very responsive to each request (a couple more chairs for the kitchen table, direct internet access) which made our long stay that much more pleasant. Would definitely return / recommend.
Thank you and please come back again. Loved having you and I appreciate the business. :)
Cute and Cozy!
We had a great time at the Flip Flop cottage! The backyard was great for grilling and yard games. Easy walk to First beach. It was perfect for a long weekend in Rhode Island.
We had a a great week at the cottage. The location is ideal, and the owner very responsive to any questions we had. The house was clean, the yard well kept-we would love to go back again.
Unbelievable Independence Day Weekend
I just stayed at this cottage with my girlfriend and another couple for 4th of July weekend. The place suited us great. Everything was very clean and well setup. The central A/C was a nice plus. The back yard is huge and private, perfect for having some friends over to barbeque. It's in a great location as well. Its a quick walk to the beach and $5 cab to downtown for the restaurants bars and shops. We would definitely be looking to stay here again.
So happy you enjoyed the Flip Flop Cottage. Come back soon and thank you;))
Perfect Girls Weekend!
This was the cutest, coziest cottage! Incredibly clean!
Great backyard with a working grill.
Perfect location for going to the beach, getting into Newport, and/or traveling to a Vineyard.
Comfortably fit/slept 6 adults for a girls weekend, but would also be ideal for a family vacation.
The owner of the property was very easy to work with and very responsive.
Such a pleasure to have you and your group! Please come back soon!!!
Newport is a seaside city on Aquidneck Island in Newport County, Rhode Island, United States. It is located 23 miles (37 km) south of Providence, and 61 miles (98 km) south of Boston.
