Beautifully remodeled studio condo that is literally 55 yards from the beach in a quiet area, but is 15 minutes from everything! Brand new full kitchen complete with dishwasher. Full bath, shower and separate dressing area. Brand new furniture including a wall/Murphy bed with a comfortable ‘real’ mattress. Fold it away for more space. Living area with TV, DVD, and sofa bed so you can sleep 4 if required. This condo is ideal for a family vacation for 4, or for a single person/couple longer term. Another studio condo available for additional people (subject to availability).

We chose this condo because it was practically on the beach, there was a great beach bar around the corner, and its the most southwest part of the U.S.
Our condo is so close to everything. It seems you can get anywhere in San Diego within 20 minutes. Imperial Beach is a quiet community, which is great for kids and couples. Coronado is nice and close for great restaurants and shopping. There's a lot of attractions nearby too: San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Tijauna, Golfing, Surfing, Swimming.
The place was perfect. Since this was more of a family thing, we didn't get to enjoy the beach as much as we wanted. We did walk every morning and evening. Location was GREAT. I think the 500 yards from beach was wrong. More like 100yards!! I have a friend already interested. Close to good food, drink etc. Had to tell my wife to quit cleaning up everything. She wanted to pull the sheets and clean the place up like home.!! Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was great. Took a little while for hot water which didn't bother us, but might affect your water bill. Pam at realty office was very nice.
I give it a A rating and would be glad to write a review on website if you'd like. We would be interested to rent again.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Just a few steps to the beach and within walking distance to local restaurants. Very comfortable and relaxing.
Spent an enjoyable month in Todd's condo. Description and photos are accurate. This is a very small condo, but adequate for our stay as we enjoyed the price and location. Very close walking distance to several good bars and restaurants. We enjoyed happy hour at Coronado Brewing Company, SEA 180 Coastal Tavern, Barrels, and Margarita Monday's at Ye Olde Plank. Can't beat Imperial Beach for small town beach atmosphere. Great morning walks on the beach to watch surfers and killer sunsets over the pier. IB is very clean, uncrowded and plenty of parking...something that is hard to find in S. California.
July is my favorite month because I spend it in this delightful condo just steps from the beach. Step out of the back gate and cross the narrow street and I'm on the sand. We love to walk to one of the local restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Sunsets on the beach were fabulous this month. The sun was out by 9am every morning and there was a nice breeze off of the ocean. There are plenty of storage spaces in the condo for all of our items. Todd has made numerous upgrades since last year and we were very comfortable. IB has a variety of events throughout the summer but the condo is in a relatively quiet area of town. Our pups enjoy running in the surf and watching the sunsets with us. The only day the beach is crowded is July 4...otherwise, it's very open. A plus is the parking spot directly beside the building. I love coming to the beach and I enjoy working with Todd and Karol at Spirit Realty.
We just enjoyed our fourth stay at this very comfortable condo ! Very well equipped w/ beach chairs,beach towels, and even an umbrella! Enjoyed our coffee on the beach in the a.m.'s and our wine in the evenings . Nice quiet, friendly beach town w/ some very good dining options . Todd is very easy to work with, as is Spirit Realty-we look forward to our next stay !
We enjoyed the month of July at Todd's condo in Imperial Beach and loved every minute of our stay. Even though the property is small, we had no problems in storing the numerous items we brought with us (golf clubs, bicycle, etc.). We love walking up and down Seacoast in the evening as we decide which restaurant in which to dine. The new frozen yogurt shop is a great addition to the beach complimenting the great candy store just up Palm Avenue. We enjoyed sitting on the beach and watching the sun set every evening. Dogs are allowed on the beach so our pups could walk the beach with us and dodge the waves. Todd and Spirit Realty are very easy to work with. IB is a laid back surfing town and we feel more like locals than visitors. We already booked for next year.
We love our location in Imperial Beach. Easy access to beach activities, Coronado, and I-5. Todd was great to work with. Imperial Beach has fine dinning, casual dinning and our favorite cinnamon rolls at Katy's Cafe. We also enjoyed the only beach front farmer's market in San Diego County, operates from Pier Plaza every Friday afternoon offering local fruits, vegetables and community art.
Imperial Beach is home to Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve, a National Estuarine Research Reserve, and Border Field State Park. The estuary, located off Seacoast Drive and Imperial Beach Boulevard, is home to many endangered birds and wildlife. This estuary marks the place where the fresh water Tijuana River enters the salt water Pacific Ocean. It is the largest salt water marsh in Southern California.
There is also a Commissary at the US Navy's Naval Outlying Landing Field at Imperial Beach.
We had a great time and are looking forward to our visit next year!!
