3 bedroom, one bathroom lake front cottage on Lake Champlain. Two bedrooms downstairs -one with bunk beds, other with a queen bed. Loft bedroom upstairs with queen bed. Great location for families, with the lake outside the front door. Nice shaded deck to enjoy dinner outside. Gas grill for outdoor cooking. Close to downtown Burlington.
Enjoy spending time on the water on beautiful Lake Champlain. Bring your kayak and water toys.
This is a seasonal cottage that is open from April to October.
We stayed here for 4 nights in October for a family getaway. This house was a quick 10 minute drive into Burlington. We absolutely loved the views of the lake. The sunsets every night were so memorable! My dad went kayaking with the 2 kayaks that came with the house and loved it. It was so relaxing cooking dinner every night in the kitchen and watching the lake from the couch. The WiFi worked extremely well. The house had everything we needed to cook dinners and the rooms were very comfy too. We can't wait to stay here again for our next visit to Vermont.
We and our toddler loved this adorable cabin-like cottage with prime lakeside location, gorgeous sunsets and moonlight, quick access to the bike trail, and tons of board games. A bonus is the extremely comfy master bed!
My sisters and I stayed here in early September, 2016. We live in three far flung states, so we wanted a place to relax and talk, with nearby things to do. This place was perfect. We could sit on one of the two patios (which we jokingly called the coffee patio and the cocktail patio.) There is also a gorgeous view just sitting in the living room. We spent time on the beach next to the lake. (I think maybe some times of year, there is little or no beach, depending on the lake water level, but when we were there there was a large beach.) We also walked on the Island Line Trail out over Lake Champlain, very close to the house. It is also within easy driving distance to Burlington and its restaurants, art and shopping (15 minutes, maybe, don't remember exactly). It was fun to go into Burlington, come back tired, and relax on the beach or patios. The house was well stocked with dishes, utensils, beach chairs, etc. My only negative was that the house was very warm in the afternoon. With windows open and fans going it wasn't too bad, but as girls from Louisiana, we missed having air conditioning. I guess it is not needed most of the time in Colchester. But I would not let that stop me from going there again, as this place is great.
Airport park is just down the street with tennis courts, horseshoe pits, volleyball nets and bike trail.
Minutes down the road in the Island bike trail and Island Bike Ferry to travel to South Hero.
