I live in Wilmington on the Intracoastal Waterway and the loft offers another experience for me and my family when they want to enjoy downtown. So now I can share that with others!
Walk two blocks to the Riverfront Farmers Market on the water on Saturday mornings. Enjoy a cup of joe at Port City Java, just a few steps away. Take in live theater at Thalian Hall, two blocks away. Go one block and up to the Fifth floor at City Stage for a sunset drink overlooking the Cape Fear River.
The apartment is beautiful and well located. The homeowners were very helpful too. My fiancee and I had a question about checkout and they responded within an hour to our email. Couldn't recommend this place any more!
Thoroughly enjoyed being so close to restaurants, river cruises, sightseeing, shopping and so much more. Loved the parking spot adjacent to the parking garage. It is centrally located and just a short and easy drive to the beaches.
Our stay in the loft was absolutely wonderful. This is a perfect location to wake up and stroll downtown Wilmington or walk along the waterway. The loft was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be returning.
What a little gem in the middle of all the downtown action. The location couldn't have been more perfect for what we wanted to do in Wilmington that weekend. We had such a busy agenda that we really didn't get to properly meet the owner. The directions on checking in and out were simple and very easy to follow. The location is perfect for walking around downtown and by the river. There's plenty of things to do in the area and there were tons of great restaurants and nightlife right out our door. The decor and finishes were very nice and clean and the space was the perfect size for my husband and I. The bed slept comfortable and the living are/kitchen had everything we needed for our weekend stay. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to find ourselves back!
This loft was very clean and it had very nice amenities- nice couch, good TV, spacious kitchen, all appliances in working order. The decorations are great and the loft has a welcoming feeling. The property manager is very responsive and flexible. You can't beat the location if you are going to be visiting any of the downtown area; I didn't have to move my car the entire weekend. As others have mentioned, the inside is surprisingly quiet for the location.
I do have a few minor gripes that keep me from giving it a 5 star rating. First, as other mentioned but I failed to read before going, the bed is full size. If you are over 6' tall, consider looking elsewhere. Second, the room is really bright in the morning; it could really use a curtain. The futon looked appealing at 7am. Last, you really have to hold the handle down on the toilet to get some flush action.
Overall, it is a nice place, you will enjoy your visit, but surely there are better places to stay.
This loft is a wonderful location - very close to many good local restaurants and breweries. We even had a street festival happen right in front of the door on Saturday afternoon!
It's cozy - OK for one or two people for the weekend, and well decorated. Bed is small and sounded like it could use new box springs. Bathroom needed some cleaning.
Also - it is very close to a sportsbar/restaurant that had live music one night - was very loud until 2 AM. But that is one of the things you stay in the city for, right?

CHECK-IN TIME is AFTER 3 P.M. EST AND CHECKOUT is 12 PM EST. No Early Check-in or late checkout.
This is a NON SMOKING unit. It is NOT handicap-accessible.
1. Parking - enter the parking deck on Second Street between Market and Princess. Go a short distance and turn into the right parking lot behind the store buildings. Your designated parking space is on the left wall as you come in, the second space to the left of the shop’s back door – marked #008. If my business neighbors are parked in the area during the weekdays, it can sometimes get tight, so you may find it easier just to park in the deck and walk a short distance to the condo.
Once you come in the condo, you will find a hanging tag that you can hang on your mirror while you're in the lot so my business neighbors will know you’re my guest, otherwise you might get towed! You’ll also find a scanner pass that gets you in and out of the deck. You should always enter on Second Street and leave to the right, to Market Street.
2. Entrance - go up the spiral stairs in the back, to the second floor. A sign will point you to the loft; the number is on the door – 114B.
3. Keys - in a lockbox hanging on the lattice across from the door, at the entrance in the rear.
Once I have received payment confirmation, I will provide the code to unlock the lockbox. The yellow key is for the back, the green key for the front. Just put them back in there when you leave; you need to re-enter the code before you can lock them back in the box.
4. Wireless Internet is available – Netgear 16, password is Bravesea232. Instructions for the TV, Netflix, etc. are in the loft.
5. Trash - if your trashcan gets full, it can be put in the big can downstairs outside the back door of my shop.
