About Toula Clark

I grew up in Cowee Valley. I always loved the mountains and wanted to be able to spend some time there. So, the cabin was built for a great little vacation home near my parents home. While Im not vacationing in it, I decided to share my beautiful home with you.

Toula Clark purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Toula Clark chose North Carolina Mountains

The land that the cabin is built on has been in my family for generations. A little old white cabin used to sit near the existing cabin which belonged to my great grandmother. Growing up in Cowee Valley and missing the presence of her cabin, encouraged me and my husband to build this cabin. My parents live a stone throw away from the cabin as well as some other family, so, it's a great place for me to take a break, relax and visit with family. I vacation in my cabin and want to share our favorite getaway with you.

What makes this cabin unique

Franklin and the surrounding area is loaded with sight seeing, specialty shops, and fun activities.

Great Modern Gem with a great view!

  • 5 of 5

This is a great cabin not too far from Downtown Franklin. There was nothing that this had we did not love. The view, the interior, the sound of the rain on the roof. I guess the seal of approval would be that my wife wants a cabin just like this in the future...

Perfect place for two.

  • 5 of 5

Bearadise has all the upscale amenities of a large luxury home, without all the unused spaces and equipment that normally go unused by a mature couple. A vented fireplace and some Polywood deck furniture would be nice, but we didn't miss the TV. The internet connection worked very nicely. Hope to return to the peaceful place again.

Great Place

  • 5 of 5

We are packing up and heading out right now. The photos and write up in VRBO do not do the place justice. The cabin looked like we were the first people who had ever stayed here. It was immaculate and decorated beautifully. If you were building your own cabin, you would want this owner to do the decorating.

Sitting in the living room or on the deck, the views were magnificent. Even with some bad weather, the views were spectacular. There was a road out front but we never saw or heard a vehicle.

Kitchen was well equipped with finest dishes and cooking equipment.

Perfect place for a couple to get away from it all.

Great cozy little get away for two....

  • 4 of 5

We were in Franklin doing some work on our newly acquired property ...this cabin was nine minutes from our land and very convenient...It was the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in, and we stay often in that area..the kitchen was especially well appointed and a cook's dream...the master bath was great; loved the stone shower and rain head...we watched movies in bed on the master tv...only drawback for us, a 69 year old couple with mobility issues who stay in a lot, is lack of a tv with cable in the living room....we watch a lot of tv and would have enjoyed that...perhaps a music system of some type would be nice also...The view from the living area is fabulous!!! Beautiful mountains...but if it's sunny, the sun pouring in that room from about 4 to 6 is can't see your pc or phone , so we sat on the porch until the sun went down...I talked to the owner , who was so helpful and attentive, and we discussed possible solutions for those windows......every little question i had was answered immediately....the fireplace is so cozy and we used it on several cold mornings and nights....All in all, I would recommend this cabin to a couple for a get away...really close to downtown and easy access...there is a trundle in the loft for a adult or child or two...

Great Trip

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is well built, has high quality appliances, beautiful furniture, and breathtaking views. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay and any and all questions were quickly answered by Toula. The only thing that surprised me was how close the cabin was too the road. The road has very little traffic, so it wasn't a concern, but looking at the pictures I assumed it was set further back.

Beautiful cabin with modern appliances. Very clean and comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

Many great things to say. The cabin is well built and decorated nicely. The shower in the master bathroom was especially nice, large and decorated in stone. King size bed is very comfortable. Thought I would miss having cable tv but enjoyed spending time talking. Netflix is reasonable alternative.
