Our two-bedroom condo is located between the St. Lawrence Gap, and Oistins, on Maxwell Coast Road. Google Maps are available on the Contact Us page. The condo is walking distance to both, the St. Lawrence Gap restaurants, and Oistins Fish Fry. The general area is very peaceful and quiet as it is a short distance from all the daytime/nightlife events and parties. It is an excellent spot to relax during the day, and walk out at night!

About Andrew & Victoria Chalmers

Our two-bedroom condo is located between the St. Lawrence Gap, and Oistins, on Maxwell Coast Road. The condo is walking distance to both, the St. Lawrence Gap restaurants, and Oistins Fish Fry. The general area is very peaceful and quiet as it is a short distance from all the daytime/nightlife events and parties. It is an excellent spot to relax during the day, and walk out at night!

The condo is located directly across from the Barbados Beach Club resort. As a resident of the condo, you have access to all the resorts amenities. Maxwell Beach is right across the street from the condo, and is among one of the nicest beaches on the island. You can even hear the waves crashing at night from the main bedroom!

A swimming pool and hot-tub are also available in the condominium complex as well. In terms of water sports, they are available at Maxwell Beach along the shores of the Barbados Beach Club. To book excursions, you can use the front desk at the BBC. A general store is located 2 minutes from the Condo, where you can pickup basic necessities. YES, this includes Rum & Banks Beer! Transit access is available at the top of the street (2 min walk).

Awesome Stay

The condo was in a very good location, just a short walk across the street to a semi - private little beach and a short 5 minute walk to a more popular crowded beach. Located just off a busy road, you have quick access to many restaurants but without the traffic and noise of the main road. Pretty centrally located for surfing on the South Coast between Freights/South Point and Brandons a little further up.The condo was super clean and had everything you could need. Although we ate out every meal, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything to prepare a meal. The pool and hot tub in the courtyard were also very clean and inviting. The property manager was very easy to access and called a few times during our stay to check in and see if we needed anything and how our vacation was going. St. Lawrence Gap and Oistens are both within walking distance with a heap of excellent eating options.

Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe, quiet, comfortable stay in Barbados.

Great location for exploring Barbados

My husband and I spent a week at this lovely condo. Everything was exactly as pictured, clean, and in brand-new condition. I was concerned about only having a/c in the bedrooms but this really was not a problem at night. We slept wonderfully on the very comfy bed, but it was a bit muggy during the day even with the windows open. Having a washer and dryer in the place was also great. There were beach towels so we didn't have to pack those, and even a couple of beach chairs that were in great condition. I am not able to walk very far due to arthritic knees, but there was a lovely beach just across the road. In fact, it seems like everywhere we went there was a beach! We checked out most of them. (A rental car is a must to enjoy the entire island.) There was a grocery store very close, and a convenience store less than a block away for grabbing a couple of Banks beers;) We at at Oistins 3 of our 7 nights there because the food was amazing! The snapper at George's and the mixed fish platter at Chillin and Grillin are not to be missed. We drove down to it and had no problem finding parking, but it is just a short walk for those who don't want to rent a car. During our trip Barbados was experiencing an unusually large influx of seaweed on both the East-side and West-side, but we were able to find lovely, clear beaches on the north west side for swimming and snorkeling. The snorkeling right from shore was even better than the Virgin Islands. If you do have a car, there really isn't a reason to pay for the tour boats to swim with turtles. We found about a dozen to swim with and observe at Port St Charles, and the coral formations were vibrant and healthy. And having the refreshing pool and jacuzzi to return to each night was perfect. Why not 5 stars? Just a couple of personal preferences: I would have liked to have a/c throughout the condo, an icemaker for the freezer, and a full-length mirror somewhere in the condo. That being said, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who does not have problems with stairs. The neighbors were friendly and helpful, the owner was wonderful and responsive to all my questions, and we had a great time exploring the the entire island. Although we rarely visit the same place twice, we are keeping an eye on airfare so we can return to this lovely island.

From beach towels and beach chairs to top of the line mattresses and linens the list is endless, This condo has it all. We have tried to think of every modern convenience that anyone could want and at the end of the day you are on a tropical island with all of these conveniences.( How Can It Get Any Better). Yes it can get a bit muggy in the Barbados 30 + degree weather but the AC/units in the bedrooms guarantee you will get a great sleep. We inquired to the Condominium board about installing AC/units in the livingroom area however as there is only one outside wall that it could be installed on and the wall to wall windows will not allow for the inside unit to be mounted there, Instead we opted for the next best thing and installed 3 ceiling fans between the livingroom and kitchen - dining area. These 3 ceiling fans really keep the air moving thru that portion of the condo. Our fridge has a plastic storage container that can hold roughly 4 ice cube trays full of ice as automatic water and ice dispensers are not allowed in the condo in case of accidental water leakages into other condo units. We are currently in the process of installing a full length mirror in the master bedroom so our guests can make sure they look there best before heading out for a night on the town. The pool and jacuzzi are always a welcome relief after a hard day of exploring the beautiful island of Barbados. The direct access to the south coast beaches is an added bonus and great for early morning jogs or walks. The supermarket is open from 8am-8pm seven days a week and is great for those necessities when you first arrive or thereafter, it is merely a 2 min walk from the condo. We are glad you found our condo so conveniently located and whether you were relaxing by the beach or pool or were going on an island adventure you were never really that far from home. My boyfriend and I just returned from this beautiful Island on Sunday March 2015, this condo is a gem. This is our Second Year staying at this condo. Very clean, the excellence of all details of this condo is very thoughtful from the owner. We were safe at all times, all guests and Islanders are extremely welcoming to all travellers, also very helpful and lots of fun. You feel very welcome to be a guest at this condo, it feels like it is your second home. There are two hotels that are sister of each other that welcome you with open arms to the beach or to eat from their amazing menu. You can enjoy all water sports or just relaxing on the beach. These two hotels have incredible night life that you are welcome to join, or you can relax at the condo and enjoy a swim or Jacuzzi. The pool is very romantic at night, they have mood lights that make you very relaxed. There is a great convenience store that is minutes away from the Condo that you can pick all necessary items at low cost. Downstairs of this store is a pool table restaurant, very fun, we enjoyed a few games ourselves. 95% of all tours pick you up for free and drop you off, Very convenient. Taxi service is very safe right in front of condo. There is no effort staying at this condo, its perfect. This condo is a must see, and stay! Believe us were coming back 2016.

Great place to stay!

A friend and I stayed here for almost two weeks and absolutely loved the place. It was clean and tidy with a very comfortable couch. There was a beach across the condo, and Dover Beach was a 15 min walk. Also Oistins fish fry was about a 20 minute walk from the property. The buses and minivans stop at the top of the road from the condo which is only a short walk. Very convenient.
