2 Bedroom Apartment, Situated Directly On The Harbour Foreshore. Stunning Views.
WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO STAY ANYWHERE ELSE, THAN ON SYDNEY HARBOUR FORESHORE. WAKE UP TO THE BEST VIEWS IN SYDNEY AND WATCH THE SUNSET, AS YOU ENJOY A WINE AT THE END OF THE DAY.
Cremorne Point is a peninsula of land located on the picturesque Lower North Shore of Sydney Harbour, separating Shell Cove from Mosman Bay.
It is one of the city’s most prestigious and convenient locations.
Renowned for its stunning views across the world’s most beautiful harbour. A 10 minute scenic ferry ride has you at Circular Quay, the gateway to Sydney’s CBD.
Directly opposite is the Opera House, Fort Denison and the Royal Botanic Gardens, with views stretching from the Harbour Bridge in the west, to Vaucluse in the east.
A perfect setting to view the fireworks displays from the harbour and bridge, as well as the Sydney to Hobart Yacht races.
Sit and watch the ferries, water taxi's, sailing and speed boats sail by your front door. You will also see ocean liners and massive tankers making their way in and out of the harbour.
Enjoy a picnic on the foreshore and one of the most scenic foreshore walks in Sydney from Cremorne Point to Mosman Bay.
Walk up a couple of steps from the front lawn and you can enter the apartment through a private door into the dining and sitting rooms, which have stunning views of the Harbour including the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the city skyline. Dine at night with the city and harbour lights as your backdrop.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a block of seven. It occupies the whole width of the building and thus has no immediate neighbour.
There is a lawn area directly in front of the apartment bordering Cremorne Point Reserve.
Beyond the Reserve is the harbour foreshore, with sensational uninterrupted views to the Opera House, CBD and the Harbour Bridge.
A lovely spacious two bedroom apartment, with built in robes, which sleeps four comfortably, and provides expansive open plan living, with high ceilings enhanced by sandstone feature walls.
• Main bedroom has a CD player.
• Ultra modern equipped kitchen.
• Stunning marble bathroom.
• A 2nd half bathroom has washbasin and toilet. This room doubles as the laundry, with an automatic washing machine and a dryer.
• There is a second large sitting room that opens off another entrance.
All linen and towels are supplied.
Free Wifi and local telephone calls.
Just Outside the Apartment
Just outside the apartment is Cremorne Point Reserve, which has one of the best scenic walks in the world. Take the footpath and head south-east.
After one minute you will be at the MacCallum Pool, a 22 metre pool that overlooks the harbour. This is a popular swimming location that started out as a rock pool created by the local residents to form a safe harbour swimming hole. The pool dates back to the nineteen-twenties and has been restored in keeping with this heritage. The unique waterside timber deck is an unparalleled sunbathing spot.
Look and admire the spectacular panoramic view of the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the city skyline. The Royal Botanic Gardens can also be seen adjacent to and to the east of the Opera House.
Continue along the foreshore walk for another five minutes and you are at the Cremorne Point Wharf. From here ferries run every half-hour to and from the city and round the point to Mosman Bay.
Another five minutes in the same direction will get you to the lighthouse on Robertson’s Point, the extreme end of Cremorne Point. The view of the harbour from here extends around three hundred degrees, a wonderful vantage point for watching the yacht races and all the life of the busy harbour.
Head along the eastern foreshore of Cremorne Point and time will be forgotten. There are too many things to look at: the shipyard; the boats at their moorings; the old houses; the gardens, and Mosman Bay.
Past the Rowers Club- or stop for a drink and meal- and you will see the boats at the marina and then Mosman Wharf. Have a coffee there and catch the ferry back!
Ferries run between Cremorne Point and Circular Quay every thirty minutes throughout the day and every hour during the evening.
Circular Quay has a public transport hub that connects up the city’s trains, ferry and buses services.
Buses run from Cremorne Wharf, via Milson Road, to Neutral Bay Wharf, via the Military Road and the restaurant strip. There is a bus stop outside the apartment block.
If you prefer to drive, the city’s system of motorways and tunnels link in a short distance from Cremorne Point.
Take in a movie at the beautiful restored Hayden Orpheum Picture Theatre at Cremorne, which for movie buffs regularly shows both older and house movies, as well as the latest releases.

About Jenny Empson
The photo is of my husband Michael and grandson Ethan, taken with the Opera House as the backdrop. I had a wonderful professional career in the Health field and am now retired.
Jenny Empson purchased this Apartment in 2001
Why Jenny Empson chose Cremorne Point
I bought this property because of it being on the Sydney Harbour foreshore , with the iconic and picture perfect views of the Opera House, Harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Opera House for me is one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and what a great place to be situated. The apartment is in a prestige quiet area , with beautiful walks that have stunning views, yet only a 10 minute ferry ride across the Harbour to Circular Quay, the CBD, numerous attractions, activities and those wonderful restaurants. .
What makes this Apartment unique

Do the wonderful scenic walk around the Sydney Harbour Foreshore. Picnic on Sydney Harbour foreshore as you watch the activity on the harbour. Enjoy a swim in the 22 metre Harbour swimming pool- a one minute walk from the apartment. Take a scenic ferry ride to Circular Quay. The epitomy of "Sydney", highly recommended
What could day "Sydney" more than the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge? This is a beautiful, clean, spacious 2 bedroom unit with an amazing view. The owner, Jenny also couldn't be more helpful so it made our 3 day stay very enjoyable. Also, not too far away from a great coffee shop/restaurant "Mr Spofforth" and other conveniences.
The only problem is parking - particularly if you are not lucky enough to find a parking space close to the unit and you have lots of luggage to carry down a couple of levels. This is probably an expected thing in the city but from someone hailing from North Qld, it seems like a hassle. On the upside, there is no traffic noise as there is only a walking path between you and the water.
Fantastic location with great views. Would stay again.
Incredibly happy with our stay. Great for families ... my 6 and 9 year old loved the place. Stared out the window to a perfect view of The Harbour and Opera House. Very responsive owner!
So pleased that everyone enjoyed their stay, as this is what I aim for - having somewhere lovely to stay just adds that little extra for a memorable holiday. You are definitely on a winner with the children also enjoying.
Those unique picturesque views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge from the apartment are indeed beautiful to look at and something to always remember , as well as the beautiful walks around the harbour foreshore, which is on your doorstep.
It was a delight having you as my guests and hope you took home lots of memories and would welcome you back again when next visiting Sydney.
Not typical rental!
My friend and I just spent three nights at this apartment, perfectly located a quick walk from the wharf at Cremorne Point, where a ferry takes you on a five minute ride to Circular Quay and downtown Sydney. Location could not be more perfect--on bus line, near very cute and trendy Cremorne Junction, convenient to everything, with stunning view of Sydney Harbour. It was perfect for friends because both bedrooms have similar beds and are at opposite ends of the apartment. This ground floor apartment overlooks a public walkway and then the harbour, so it's breezy and comfortable, especially at night, with ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living room. Most importantly, the appointments and general look of this place, in a beautiful older building among many beautiful older buildings, is of a residence, not a rental. It was so comfortable and quiet and so lovely. Jenny is very accommodating and good to work with, with quick responses to any questions. Would absolutely stay here again and hope to, because we left our hearts in Sydney.
So pleased that you and your friend enjoyed your stay in the apartment- and found the apartment well appointed, with everything there that you required, as well as being well located to all the tourist attractions, Circular Quay and the city. So close to everything, but yet in a peaceful location to return home to each day.
It is very important to me that guests have everything they require, so as to ensure a comfortable stay and thank-you for referring to it as a residence NOT a rental, as this is what I aim for.
Yes, being directly on the Harbour foreshore with those amazing views of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge makes for a memorable stay.
The area is blessed with great transport options, so no need for a car, as you found, with a ferry and bus stop at your door. Nothing beats a ferry ride on the harbour.
Look forward to having you stay, when next in Sydney- lovely that you both left your hearts in Sydney.
Absolutely stunning. If you think the photos are amazing, you need to visit in person. Beautifully appointed apartment and located only meters from the north shore of Sydney Harbour, overlooking the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, simply breathtaking location. Ferry and buses are nearby making getting around a breeze for sight seeing or shopping. Don't forget the harbour walkway right in front to take in the most incredible views of the Harbour. Thankyou for being a wonderful host Jenny, booking was simple and your travel tips for Sydney were terrific, we can't wait to visit again, Steve and Sharon
