The fully-equipped kitchen features Carrara marble counter-tops, refinished original and reclaimed softwood floors, stainless steel appliances and a double-stacked washer & dryer.

The flat ideally accommodates four people, but the small 3rd bedroom can easily sleep two extra people, totaling six. There is a queen-size bed in the 1st bedroom with a built-in armoire, a full-size bed in the 2nd bedroom with a closet, and twin-size bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom with a closet. The 1.5 split bathrooms are appointed with Carrara marble floors and sinktop, along with a restored original claw foot tub.

The flat is stocked with everything you need to make your stay comfortable: pots and pans, dishes and glassware, cooking and dining utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, along with a spice rack, coffee, laundry and dishwasher detergent, towels, linens, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

The drop-leaf dining table seats four and can expand to six by adding the leaf underneath.

Where do you live?

Cute Place, Great Location, Shower not so good.

  • 3 of 5

We stayed here in August 2017. Our family of four loved the location. Very close to North Beach and Union Square, and not too far from Fisherman's Wharf. The unit was very clean and mostly comfortable. As others have mentioned, the bunk bed room is VERY small. The other two bedrooms are nice sized. We enjoyed spending time in the living room. The kitchen is small but well equipped. However, the toaster needs to be replaced. We tried toasting bagels, but after 10 minutes or so, they were just warm and dried out.

The biggest negative to the unit is the shower. It is a claw foot tub, with thin shower curtains all around. During your shower, the curtains move to the center of the tub, as they do in most showers, but since the tub is small, the curtains are right against your body. Hard to enjoy your shower when you feel you are wrapped in plastic.

The property manager was great, and allowed us to store some luggage in the garage after our check-out time, since our flight was later that day.

Other than the shower and the toaster, we really enjoyed the unit.

Perfect stay for our perfect trip

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect place for our girls trip. I thought the location was ideal and the flat was very charming. It had the perfect amount of room and it felt cozy and like home. We were blown away by the cleanliness and all the extras that were provided. I could not have pictured a better experience for us.

Excellent with an ideal location

  • 5 of 5

The location was excellent for walking to most sites. Uber only cost $8-9 to get back to the Flat after a long day. The property was super clean throughout. The Flat was well furnished ( shampoo, soap, towels and kitchen supplies ). The beds were comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxing. All five of us were very impressed with the property. Thank you

PSI. It is a high step to get into the shower. It was not a problem for us but may be a issue for the elderly or a less agile person

Nob Hill Edwardian Flat

  • 5 of 5

We did a short family vacation with our grown up daughters and their boyfriends to San Francisco. The 3 BR flat we rented was perfect. It had all of the amenities of home. We were out sightseeing so much that we didn't get to spend a lot of time there, but I would highly recommend VRBO vs. a hotel room. When you compare costs, the flat was the best way to stay! Thank you for sharing your home w/us!

Great location

  • 5 of 5

Spent 3 nights here over Easter break and found it to be exactly as advertised. Very clean, close to the cable car lines, quiet, and safe. I liked the period fixtures. Great having a full kitchen with dry goods (coffee, tea, spices, oatmeal). Sometimes house cleaners remove everything edible, so it was really nice having something available after a midnight check in. Loved the door lock system that prevented us from ever getting locked out and allowed all of us to come and go without worrying about a key. Q and D beds were comfortable. My teens said the bunk bed room felt too small, more like a large closet. They used the hallway for their suitcases. I think that is probably fine for most people but claustrophobics may not feel comfortable.
