Clean place. Quiet at end of street. You will need to take OFF or some kind of mosquito repellent. They are like the size of Hawks down there.
I took my five year old granddaughter to Port O Connor for our very first "Nana and Emily Quest". I was a bit nervous but staying at this little house made everything a piece of cake. We loved it and I had to promise Emily we would come back.
Cabin was nice, clean and comfy. Check in was easy and especially since it was 4th of July. Unless you have a boat don't expect too much in the way of beach area or maybe we just did not ask how to get to the beach areas. There was a nice little city park and long pier to fish off. The only complaint I would have is that the yard needed mowing. Wasn't too much fun having to walk through the weeds.
This cabin was perfect for what we needed for the week in POC. Not far from beach anf fishing areas. Easy to find. Clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was not very high, but it will do the job just fine. Brenda was quick to respond to any questions we had and helpful in recommending a couple restaurants in the area.
Our stay was quite enjoyable. The cabin worked out just fine. Great company to deal with. Had everything we needed. Mosquitoes were bad, but nothing they could have really done about that. Will definitely use them again.
We had a strange first impression with the front desk because we arrived a little early. We weren't expecting to be allowed into the rooms early, but we had a couple of friends driving down and we wanted to give them the address of the actual cabin (since you check in at the real estate office). Front desk would not give us the address until we were allowed to check it which we found a little unnecessary. Other than that, the cabins themselves are great! It's all one big open room besides the bathroom and it's really spacious. We noticed that arking might get a little awkward if it's really packed and everyone has boats but we didn't have any problems at all. We would definitely stay here again.
