Enjoy a relaxing get away on East Twin Lake. When you arrive at the spacious cottage you will notice how it sits back in the woods. You are now Up North!! Unpack and sit on the deck and watch the sun set. Then it's time for a bonfire right by the water. The bonfire pit is also a perfect warm up after ice skating and snowmobiling. You can take a walk to town for a burger or ice cream. It doesn't matter the time of year, there is always something to do.
To make your stay comfortable there are two large bedrooms with great closets. There is also a trundle bed and big, comfy couch for overflow guests or kids.

My husband has always wanted a cottage. When he found this place he knew we had to have it. We call it his fourth child. I am a teacher and finally got up to see it in the summer and fell in love. It is so relaxing!! It's perfect for walking, reading, and getting away from it all.
michele and tony malinowski purchased this cottage in 2010
Lewistion is two hours and forty minutes from Oakland County. As soon as we start to get antsy we are there!! Although it is a quiet and relaxing place, it is still only an hour from Traverse City and Mackinaw City. It is 40 minutes from Boyne Mountain and only a few minutes from Garland and Tree Tops. We love to relax but when we want to do something it is just a stones throw away.
This lakefront property is a quiet haven. If you like to walk, you can get to town for a Talley burger at the local resturant. The Lewistion Lodge is right on the water a boat ride or short drive away. If it rains you can go bowling to keep moving. Just a few minutes away is Tree Tops for skiing and sledding. Garland has great golf and cross country skiing. You can also get to Gaylord in 30 minutes to shop or catch a movie. If you want to venture out to see Michigan you are only an hour from Traverse City, Mackinaw City, and the Sand Dunes.
Completely wonderful! From the moment I stepped into the house, I felt right at home. The yard was spacious and lots of room for parking. The view of the lake was fantastic and relaxing. The cottage was spacious and very clean! I made great use of the pitfire and even got to watch the neighbors fireworks!! The property owners were very nice a8nd easy to communicate with. I will be back soon!
The cottage was clean, well-kept, and updated. We had a great relaxing time enjoying the lake view on East Twin Lake. The sunsets were beautiful over the lake. It's close to town, and beyond town there are some nice scenic drives. We were very happy with our stay here and plan to stay again; we can't wait to take our family back here to enjoy the lake in the summer! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
This is a great vacation rental that is located right on East Twin Lake. The home is clean, nicely furnished, very comfortable beds, updated bathroom and the homeowner is very nice to work with. The best compliment I can give is that we will rent it again.
We had a great experience renting this property. The owners were alway open to answer questions and the cottage was perfect! It was really clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for our week long stay. We were able to use their paddle boat and then ended up renting a pontoon from the local marina. The cabin was private with a lovely firepit and chairs. We couldn't have asked for better. And the new bathroom was beautiful! :)
We will hopefully be renting here again soon!
Went here with my girlfriends for a quick get away where all we wanted to do was relax. This charming cottage and beautiful property allowed us to do just that! It was quiet, simple, peaceful - the perfect location to regroup and reconnect. We all went away wanting to bring our families back so they can experience the beauty and atmosphere here. We didn't use all the amenities - nearby boat launch, pier, fire pit, etc. but we did use the hammock, deck and indoor comfort a lot! :) Thanks for the memories!
I thought this was a lovely property and a great place to spend a relaxing weekend. it had everything we needed and was close to town for supplies. the lake was great and the dock a bonus as we had brought our boat.
