The blending of a Mediterranean style villa with local Caribbean detailing has created an inviting and relaxing, private island retreat. The open floor plan and indoor and outdoor living areas allow guests to experience the best of the Caribbean... Warm sun, cool breezes, and the shooting stars at night.
There is a 16 foot high native stone wall provides complete privacy for guests in the pool and while sunbathing . The great room , patios , and en-suite bedrooms all experience the breathtaking ocean views.

Starstruck Day and Night"
My wife, teenage daughter with friend, and I spent a week at "Starstruck" for our first visit to St. John. The accommodations, view and privacy left nothing to be desired. The location lent itself to convenient downtown access for shopping and night life while also being a perfect launching point for excursions to the island's back-side. Lounging by the pool for an afternoon grilling, using the Jacuzzi for an aqua massage or taking in the untainted night sky from the stone patio or terrace very quickly became our regimen. ___
We just arrived back from Starstruck and I’m already dreaming of another vacation back!!! We rent houses frequently all over the world and were very very impressed with how beautiful and well thought out the house was. Jay truly did an amazing. Denise was sure to get back to my texts ASAP and supplied anything we needed. Everything was perfect with the house and we enjoyed all the amenities and little extras the house provided. Loved that the soap had a 'Starstuck' sticker on it like a hotel, bedroom en-suites where beautiful, all the kitchen utensils were great, grill was large, snorkel equipment plentiful, beach chairs, large beach towels, etc. Not to mention the view! As the other reviews stated, the view was absolutely breathtaking and the pictures just don’t do it justice. We were perched firmly on that patio every night to enjoy the sunset, stayed to enjoy the lights of St. Thomas and awoke to the sun sparkling on the water. Truly magical! My only fault with the house was while we LOVED the view, our kids waking up at the 6am sunrise left something to be desired! So maybe some pull shades/blinds would be great in the bedrooms. Definitely recommend staying at Starstuck, you will not be disappointed! Wish I was there now....
My husband, two teenage children and I spent a perfect week at Starstruck. The pictures do not do the house or views justice! The location of the house was perfect close to town and all of the beaches. We did not find ourselves needing anything- the house is perfectly stocked. Denise the property manager was a phone call away! The separate bedroom suites are so quiet that you feel like your alone in the house. We tried a different beach each morning then came back to the house and loved the outdoor shower. We would relax for awhile and head to town. We especially liked the house being set high in the treetops. We enjoyed the privacy not having neighbors too close by. Perfect Trip!!
My sister's family and I traveled to St. John in March this year and rented the villa "Starstruck" from owner Jay Flanagan. The entire experience was easy and pleasant - both Jay and the local property manager, Denise, were as helpful as could be.
The house itself is perfect. It is situated high above Cruz Bay - but is easily located even at night. We were driving a rental vehicle (and you will need one for a stay in a villa on St John), and we had no issues getting in or out of the rather steep drive.
Our group was 4 adults, 2 teenaged girls and a 6 yr old boy. Every member of our group raved about the house. The balconies on both floors are perfect for groups where not everyone gets up or goes to bed at the same time, and the view off to the west is spectacular. We planned our whole days around being sure to be on the balcony at sunset - each day's sunset was new and different - and just unbelievably gorgeous.
The pool and hot tub were great, and as others have written, there are pool towels, beach towels, a cooler and snorkel equipment there for your use. Makes packing much much easier.
The kitchen is well equipped and nicer really than mine at home! Also, it was very nice that prior renters had left their "leftovers" in the pantry so there was some salt and pepper and other assorted things that one invariably forgets on the first grocery run of a vacation. We left out leftovers too in hopes that the next guests would make good use of them.
The furnishings are very nice and the house was spotless when we arrived. Denise met us at the dock when our ferry arrived and waited while we get our rental car - she then led us up to the villa and gave us a comprehensive tour. She was easily accessible throughout our trip and gave us good restaurant and shopping recommendations.
All in all, Starstruck was nothing short of perfect. I will make every effort to return there on future trips and I give both the villa and all the folks associated with it the highest rating available.
Amazing views, fully stocked, great size pool for St John, and a great location!
I will keep it short: Starstruck is excellent. It is a big, beautiful, well-appointed house that easily accommodated our group of 8 over New Years. The views from the terraces and bedrooms are jaw-dropping. It is an easy 10-minute drive to Cruz Bay. Jay (the owner) and Denise (the property manager) are responsive, and take a personal interest in making sure their guests have a good time.
Great house, awesome views . Conveniently located, yet private. Hot tub was a nice plus. Onsite representative was very helpful and knowledgeable. Kitchen was well stocked and had a great breeze. Pool was nice size but didn't get much chance to use it.
