Kitsap County Court House and Administrative Offices are within a three-mile radius, so you don't have to go far for anything you might want.
Nearby Bremerton offers a beautiful downtown harborside area which includes fine dining, coffee shops and the marina with many permanent ships, as well as visiting boaters. Enjoy a stroll through the Arts District and visit the Naval Museum, Fountain Park, and the Memorial Plaza (all near the Bremerton Ferry Terminal).
Be sure to catch a ferry to Seattle for a day of shopping, Pike's Market, and ride the monorail, to check out the view of Puget Sound from the Space Needle. The WA State Ferry Systems can also take you on scenic journeys to Victoria, or one of the many islands in the Puget Sound Area.
